Great Cake Donuts & Staff

The cake donuts are definitely delicious & I preferred them over the standard donuts for sure. We had both the pistachio cake & blue corn & loved them both. But the star of this place is Ivory who was working behind the counter when we came in on a Sunday morning. She chatted and laughed with us... read more

We tried several kinds of donuts. The green chile apple fritter was the best by far. The blue corn raspberry chipotle and blue corn strawberry jalepeno were fine but dry. The dulce de leche filled donut was OK and the coconut donut was marginal. These are much better than Voodoo Donuts in Portland OR but for the price I'd probably... More

Went there on a weekday around 8 AM and they had a nice selection to choose from. Had the blueberry cornmeal and was pretty good. Very nice people running this place and the service was great. They have coffee but it was good not great. They have cake style donuts which are not my favorite but definitely a place to... More

The baker that runs Whoos donut shop is the nicest guy I've run across in Santa Fe. He genuinely takes pride in producing a large variety of very beautiful, hand glazed donuts . I noticed several people walking down the street with large boxes of donuts in their hands, had a weak moment, and stopped in for the first time.... More

Every time I am in Santa Fe, I HAVE to go by this shop. The blue corn donuts are my favorite. Always friendly service. I highly recommend trying this place. May be a little hard to find the first time (turn in can be difficult with traffic) but worth it!

I had read about Whoo's donuts in a recent article of the best donut shops in the country and had to check them out while in Santa Few. I was not disappointed! The dounuts are superb. The hardest part was trying to decide what I wanted as they have so many unique flavors as well as traditional. I also had... More

My husband and I have visited Whoos Donuts about every other month or so since they opened. The flavors and textures of the donuts are innovative and sometimes more cake-like and dry than I would like. My husband is the real donut gourmet, though, and he thinks they're just great. He particularly likes the apple cider ones. Whoos donuts are... More

Finally, Santa Fe caught up with the donut craze across the country w/ different and unique types of donuts..like maple w/ bacon. It's good! The only place to buy a fun and yummy donut!

Visited around 9am. Good choice! Different than any donut we've tried. Blue corn provides a very filling and slightly crumbly base, and their 'top shelf' gourmet frostings are incredible. Bonus: they are flavorful but not overly sweet, which is perfect! We especially liked the chili bacon chocolate and the strawberry jalapeño. Looking forward to the green chili apple fritter!
