Really enjoyed the grilled trout with a wonderful corn pudding! OMG! And the bartender makes a terrific Red Devil (cranberry, agave wine with muddled jalapeño. Along with the other special drinks, the grilled pineapple margarita is perfect for those a bit worried about the spicy Chimayo red Chile or green Chile infused margarita. A great outdoor large patio dining areas.... More

Haven't been here before, came by accident and was glad. Very authentic feel and the service was friendly and efficient. I thought at first it was going to be expensive , compared to our usual Mexican haunts, but considering location and the generous portion of food, we felt it was actually a good value. Also didn't get nickled and dimed... More

A little off the main street, but very accessible to the plaza, Casa Chimayo is authentic New Mexico cuisine. The food was delicious, and attractive. The server was always there to make sure we had everything we wanted. She was also a wonderful translater for a couple of Hoosiers who were not at all familiar with New Mexico's chili vocabulary.... Saw good reviews but average Mexican for us Texans. Was featured on triple D but they do not have a liquor license since Margarita says made with agave wine. Waitress said kitchen lost order after 30 minutes so we were competed drinks.

We went to lunch there. It only had 3 other families there. There was only one person during everything in the front of the house. The food was great and season well. We enjoyed the food, however the slowness of house we would not go back. They was not parking around the place.

My husband and I were very excited to try this place after seeing it on Diners Drive ins and Dives. So when we were recently in Santa Fe we went there. We both ordered the blue corn enchiladas Christmas style, I also got a tamale. It was good, but definitely not worth all the hype!!! The two of us got... More

I had the enchiladas that they showed on triple d. They were pretty good. Every one else really enjoyed their food as well. After we ate, they brought out 2 free pieces of desert.

courtyard seating can be dicey - it was pretty windy on our visit. New Mexican food was average - blue corn enchiladas are their specialty, but they tasted about like the one's you'd get anywhere else in town. Beer selection available.

I ate the huevos rancheros with green chili sauce salsa and chips. The food was very good. The margaritas were good too, but at $7.50 a piece.

We were there on a quiet Monday evening. The restaurant was recommended by the desk clerk at our hotel as a place he often ate - I can see why he returns often. They have a good variety of margaritas. The posole appetizer was excellent - very good flavor. We enjoyed the blue corn stacked enchiladas - beef and chicken.... More
