Saw good reviews but average Mexican for us Texans. Was featured on triple D but they do not have a liquor license since Margarita says made with agave wine. Waitress said kitchen lost order after 30 minutes so we were competed drinks.

We went to lunch there. It only had 3 other families there. There was only one person during everything in the front of the house. The food was great and season well. We enjoyed the food, however the slowness of house we would not go back. They was not parking around the place.

My husband and I were very excited to try this place after seeing it on Diners Drive ins and Dives. So when we were recently in Santa Fe we went there. We both ordered the blue corn enchiladas Christmas style, I also got a tamale. It was good, but definitely not worth all the hype!!! The two of us got... More

I had the enchiladas that they showed on triple d. They were pretty good. Every one else really enjoyed their food as well. After we ate, they brought out 2 free pieces of desert.

courtyard seating can be dicey - it was pretty windy on our visit. New Mexican food was average - blue corn enchiladas are their specialty, but they tasted about like the one's you'd get anywhere else in town. Beer selection available.

I ate the huevos rancheros with green chili sauce salsa and chips. The food was very good. The margaritas were good too, but at $7.50 a piece.

We were there on a quiet Monday evening. The restaurant was recommended by the desk clerk at our hotel as a place he often ate - I can see why he returns often. They have a good variety of margaritas. The posole appetizer was excellent - very good flavor. We enjoyed the blue corn stacked enchiladas - beef and chicken.... More

If you are looking for great authentic southwestern food- this is the place. Service is good & everything is hand made using recipes passed down through the family. The stacked enchiladas can't be beat ! Great local secret ! Try it - you won't be disappointed !

We were very surprised at how large and bustling the restaurant was, since it is so far from Santa Fe. But it has a loyal following, which is understandable even though we found the food very heavy handed. They seem to go in for overkill--too much food on the plates, too mu emphasis on quantity and too little on Quality.... More

We stumbled into Casa Chimayo on our very cold first night in Santa Fe. It was within walking distance to our hotel, the Eldorado Hotel. What a great introduction to the food that we would be eating for the next week. Of particular note, their Plantain Mole Enchilada. Many moons ago, I tried my first mole. I did not like... More
