Delightful New Spanish Cousine

We had a lovely early lunch at this lovely old restaurant. Their dishes are obviously made with great care. Their red chile is savory, modestly spicy and complex. Highly recommended.

A pretty nice little place with authentic Southwest foods. Good selection of choices here. Spicy green & red Chili choices, so sample before indulging fully. Protect your tummy, but the sauces come on the side, so it's OK. Enjoy nice food.

their special plate is the "blue corn enchiladas" plate. They were ok. The green chili sauce was very good, if you like spicy. Met the owner on the way out, which was a nice touch. This is good food, and different environment. I think it's more about the setting than the food personally, so try it out. Very casual setting... More

We visited Casa Chimayo for dinner while visiting Santa Fe. The service was excellent and we received our food almost immediately. We all ate the enchiladas and enjoyed the "Christmas" chilie topping. Delicious meal!

We visited CC tonight after meaning to do so for a while now. We arrived pretty late and I felt that we were an inconvenience. No hello, just a "walk straight, your hostess is in the back". It took a long time for the waitress to arrive, so we took care of the menus ourselves. She was busy chatting it... More

We had a wonderful lunch here, enjoying a delicious Yucatan chicken salad and calabacitas enchilada. Everything was fresh and distinctively prepared. The back courtyard was an ideal spot for getting out of the sun but still enjoying the warm summer afternoon. Their dessert menu was too tempting to resist. We were treated to a silky goat milk flan and the... More

This was my family's first visit to NM, so I wanted them to try blue corn enchiladas that you don't find at home. And out of all the places I've had them at Santa Fe, Casa Chimayo is my favorite. They weren't impressed by the outside of the little building, but when we got inside everything was okay. And they... More

Saw this restaurant featured on an episode of Diners Drive-Ins and Dives and thought it would be a great place to eat... it was just okay. Also, kind of difficult to find if you aren't familiar with the area.

We went to Casa Chimayo for dinner on July 15, 2015. It was a holiday weekend so we made reservations, but they weren't crowded at 6:30 so there was no need. However, by they time we left there was a line, so if you are going to eat between 7-9 I recommend a reservation. We had heard great things about... More

This family-run restaurant has it all - New Mexican ambiance, great food, superb service and very friendly staff. We were shocked there was hardly anyone there at the prime dinner hour. There is open patio seating (partially covered). The New Mexican food is excellent. Don't miss the guacamole with corn relish on the top, and the sangria was the best... More
