Having read the local newspaper's review (normally very reliable) and other TripAdvisor comments, we expected another fine meal at an up and coming Santa Fe restaurant. Nice location; nice facility. Wrong! We tried two of the day's specials - mediocre at best. I would note that we have lived here for over a decade and have eaten at almost every... More

It is charitable for me to give this 2 stars for a rating. Greeter at door was a very young woman chatting on the phone.  We stood and waited. She also had no sense on what to do or where to place us.  I said, “Can we take that table?” Menu card was ripped in several places, dirty. One of... More

From Denver, traveling thru santa fe . . . Had the best meal of my life at Ll'olivier! We had the special soft shell crab and my husband had the duck, orange with chard and potatoes . . .it was out of this world! We lived in France for 6 years and I have never had such a wonderful meal... More

We have been a couple of times to this place, the food is not bad, but something is always missing. Also for a French influenced restaurant the menu is mostly international, and special the classic bistro renditions are completely missing. The service is always good and attentive. If you are looking for French food, there are better places in town.

Please note the above name change! I have eaten both lunch and dinner at L'Olivier during the past month; although lunch was good, after dining there with another couple last night, I think dinner was far superior. For lunch, I had the croque monsieur, one of my very favorite dishes; it was certainly good but not comparable to those I... More

We read a good review for L'Olivier in last Friday's New Mexican, so we went last night. We started off with a personable, attentive waiter, but somehow towards the end of our meal, we were handed off with out a word to the bartender. When the table next to us turned over and a lady with extremely heavy perfume came... More

Tomme closed. And has reopened as a "French" restaurant called L'Olivier. I put French in quotes because there is fish-and-chips and burgers on the menu. I was foolish enough to try the fish-and-chips and three quarters of it went back to the trash. They did take it off the check but I would have preferred a good meal - worthy... More

Fyi- a big FOR RENT sign is up. Hopefully something new will be there soon. They have a great patio. Gimme was not that good when we went last year donor surprised it didn't survive.
