My husband and I chose Jalapeños from its convenient location across from the visitors' center. We had just finished a 3-hour hike on the Aspen Vista Trail and had been dropped off by our travel guide. I was famished and couldn't wait to eat. We sat outside even though a storm threatened and enjoyed a pre-dinner drink. The Kaiken Malbec... More

Brightly decorated and friendly atmosphere. Service was very good and the food was hot, delicious and fresh. Would recommend trying it.

We came here based on reviews we read in trip advisor. It was definitely the best meal we had while in Santa Fe. The salsas were great. The good is light and refreshing and perfectly prepared. We had excellent service from our waitress Heather. When we come back to Santa Fe, we will definitely come back.

We have eaten here several times when visiting Santa Fe. Normally fantastic food. The food wasn't that great this time. Cold- chips horrible and the food was way to hot and we ask for mild on everything. Took it back to the motel and tosses it. Probably want eat here again due to food and way over priced.

Next door to Rio Chama, Jalapeños is a real find. The food is fresh and light. The agave wine margaritas are made with no sweet and sour, just fresh lime juice and Cointreau. We ate there twice we enjoyed it so much. The Baja (fish) tacos and the tacos al carbon were excellent. The guacamole is superb. The chili relleno... More

We stumbled upon this place heading to Rio Chama. What a great place. The baja tacos and tacos el carbon were outstanding. The charro beans are heavenly. Maybe the best chilli relleno I've ever had. Live this place.

My wife and I wanted a quick bite on our second day in Santa Fe. We thought it would be a typical tex-mex meal, nothing special. I asked the server which choice she would recommend - the Chicken Mole or a Seafood Fajita. She said both were good, but the fajitas were special. To me, fajitas seemed difficult to make... More

We stopped by Jalapenos for dinner since we had a very good experience this time last year, and we enjoy the patio. What a difference a year makes. The prices were higher, the wait was longer, but the food was till good. The location is great. Only one other table was occupied. When we received the bill, we noticed the... More

When ever we return to our vacation home in Santa Fe, Jalapeno's is on our list of first places to stop. I continue to read the reviews about the service and food, some not very flattering. Although there have been a couple of times the wait for food has been a bit longer than I would like, the wait is... More
