My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Jalapeno's. I had a beef chimichanga (they have chicken also). It was the best chimichanga I ever had. Next time, I will be trying their breakfast burrito, which my son (and Santa Fe Reporter) thinks is the best breakfast burrito in Santa Fe. We will be going back to this very... More

Relatively early dinner (6pm) - I had already stopped at the uber famous La Fonda for a martini (ok) , the 2nd st brewery at the railyard for a dry stout and green chile chicken stew (good but different - thin, but it did say " stew") and as I was staying at santa fe suites I dropped by here... We stayed at Santa Fe Suites next door to Jalapeno's that is located in a strip mall behind Albertsons on St. Francis Drive near I25. It's a friendly little place with watered down margaritas and pricey beers, but we still go back for the delicious grilled shrimp tacos. The service is good and the place has a core clientele that... We stopped after work to pick up a breakfast Burrito before heading home The burrito was so big we could have split one. It was hot and very tasty. You can choose what you want inside they don't skimp on portions or making sure it is delivered to us steaming hot. 10 miles down the road it was still steamy... More

Visit Santa Fe often. Went here for breakfast twice. Raul is a great cook. If you want authentic food this is a great place! Try their breakfast menu. Great service.

This is a very well run small Mexican restaurant offering up quality food at reasonable prices. The menu is pretty extensive for a place this small and the service is top notch being courteous, responsive and friendly. They often offer up daily specials such as 'street' tacos that make for an even better value. This is not a fancy restaurant... More

I was traveling from Boulder CO. To San Diego CA. when my daughter suggested that I stop at Jalapeno's and have a Chorizo Burger. I got there in hopes of having one and unfrtunatly they do not make them anymore, but I did order a Chorizo, Egg, & Cheese Burrito. A homemade tortilla, homemade Chorizo made it the best! Thank... We had a bit less than an hour to grab some lunch between appointments and chose Jalapeño’s where we had been pleased with the food in the past. This time it was disappointing. No one greeted us with a smile. The waiter sullenly pointed to the table that he wished us to take. The chairs, with straight wooden backs and... More

The food is ok if you are really hungry, however the service is extremely slow. Probably will not return as there are to many good restaurants in Santa Fe.

This kind and friendly establishment is right near the Santa Fe Suites and is open late enough to survive for a late post-business meal. The specials are good and well priced. The people are hugely friendly.
