Great place for a coffee break.....

We like to walk from our house to the cafe at least once a week for a coffee. If we didn't live nearby, we'd definitely stop in for a coffee while visiting the museums. A favorite thing we do in Santa Fe is visit Museum Hill. Not only are the museums world class, so is the Cafe. It is surprisingly sophisticated in the offerings given the fact that it is in the middle of museums. The views are spectacular and the service is excellent. I highly recommend going to the Museum of International Folk... More

There are some standards on the menu but also specialties based on exhibits. Everything I've had there has been excellent.

A beautiful place to rest and renew between museum visits. At noon on a Thursday it was busy, but we got a table in the corner and ordered the specials….both were excellent. The pumpkin and cheese quesadilla was out of this world tasty comfort food, the greens were fresh and vinegarette dressing was well mixed. The grilled salmon with greens... More

We were visiting the museums on a Sunday and decided to have lunch at the cafe. The cafe was understaffed and overwhelmed! Granted, there was a book signing event that day, but that was known in advance. We waited 30 minutes before our lunch order was taken. The wait staff was irritable and indifferent. The food was good, but not... More

The Museum Hill Cafe is not the ordinary cafe you might find attached to museums and other tourist attractions. Sometimes those are glorified cafeterias with vending machines and terrible coffee but this one is great with an excellent chef. There is a good selection of regional foods and wines. Lovely sandwiches and soups and an ever changing menu of specials.... More

Great food, I mean awesome. Pricey, pricey, pricey. Sit outdoors & enjoy the summer in Santa Fe! Love this place.
