The Museum Hill Cafe is a pleasant and convenient place to have lunch when visiting the wonderful museums on Museum Hill. However, although the menu is interesting and the food is good, the service is unbelievably bad. And it wasn't because they were understaffed, as they seemed to be last year when I visited in August. On this lunch visit,... More

We ate lunch here yesterday on the patio and spent more time swatting flies than chewing. They bothered us from arrival until departure. Our server was slow in coming to take our order, and our food also took a long time to arrive. I asked our server for a refill of my drink, and 15 minutes later, I was still... More

We had a lovely lunch here this week. The patio was huge and with plenty of shade, perfect in the hot summer sun. We had a wonderful burrito, possibly the best we've ever tasted and a great Greek salad. The sandwiches were well put together and the menu had something for everyone. A lovely casual atmosphere and great service.

At the museums when hunger hit. A grilled turkey and cheese sandwich hit the spot with great lemonade. We ate outside and experienced decent service. Sweet potato fries were delicious and crisp.

Last year we so enjoyed our lunch here, so we looked forward to going back this year. The food was good, but the wait was way too long. We waited several minutes for the host to greet and seat us. Again we had a long wait before we got our drinks. We were quite irritated and very hungry by the... More

This was formerly one our favorite little out of the way spots for lunch or an early dinner, but no more. The location at museum hill is pleasant, parking is always available, and outdoor seating has nice views. The salad and sandwich choices have usually been good and there is a nice selection of wines by the glass. But the... More

Museum Hill Cafe has very good food in both quality and variety. Their location is superb. Unfortunately, this otherwise good cafe is marred by very poor, slow service. As a regular, I found myself almost ignored on my last visit and snapped at rudely by staff when I requested service. When I called to talk to the manager he barely... More

The old maxim that restaurants attached to museums are never really any good certainly applies here. We had lunch here on a day when the strong winds precluded outdoor dining in the area off the beautiful Museum Plaza. The restaurant was very crowded. There were about two waitstaff and no bus people and everything was very rushed with the waitstaff... More

It is very good food. I was in a party of six and everyone was happy with what they ordered. I had the rueben and it was delicious.

Good food surrounded by the mountains. Close to museums and botanical gardens. Eating outside is preferable. Not anywhere near the plaza but a pleasant surprise. Found the mole sauce a bit spicy for me. Very good selection of salads.
