Awesome Indian food dining experience!

Definitely a gem among restaurants in Santa Fe. The Chef Paddy's passion for cooking is evident with every bite. Best Chicken Korma ever! Raaga & Pasqual's are my two non-negotiable dining stops with every visit to Santa Fe. The ingredients are balanced and used perfectly. Chef Paddy graces his... read more

Raaga is a lovely little restaurant on Aqua Fria near Sanbusco Market. The chef/owner, Paddy Rawal, who has written two cookbooks will make any dish exactly to your liking. He often walks through the dining area to make sure everyone is having the best dining experience possible. I ordered the Lamb Vindaloo for lunch. The lamb was very tender and... More

I love Indian food, and when we lived in Washington (before moving to Santa Fe 2 years ago) we had access to many different Indian restaurants. I have also sought out Indian restaurants in Spain, Italy, Fiji, Scotland, the UK, New Zealand and Australia. Most were pretty good, but they have nothing on Raaga in Santa Fe. The food at... More

We were staying at the hotel next door and since we LOVE Indian food, decided to give Raaga a try. It's not like typical bland/microwaved indian restaurant you usually find in the USA. It was totally fresh and tasty. The manager/owner greeted us as we walked in and regularly made sure we were happy. The friendly Californian server was friendly... More

Here it is: GRRRReat Indian Food. (Especially an appetizer not listed on the menu - a fried spinach salad). Service is good; depends on the waiter I suppose. Prices are acceptable, considering that its the best Indian food in town. Location: well on the map it looks great, but there is no roadside parking nearby. Behind the restaurant is a... More

Just discovered this wonderful little place, while service and ambiance are great the food simply overshadows everything. we had four people in our party and tried 9 different dishes, all very close to perfection. only disappointment was that they only had mango lassi for me this is a most welcome alternative to the boring NM Cuisine will I go again?... I was pleasantly surprise when I was invited to dinner at an Indian restaurant in Santa Fe. Raaga turned out to be a jewel of Indian food. Everything we had was authentic and delicious. The staff was very attentive and fun. They have a nice wine selection prudently priced. It is a small local and parking is not convenient. You... More

Went to this great East Indian Restaurant on Agua Fria street. First of all Parking is great plentiful behind restaurant. My husband Don and I did not have a reservation and took our chances at around 6:30pm to drop in. We were seated right away and it was beginning to fill up that early. Appetizer's of samosa (savory spicy pastry)... More

It's hard for me to find good vegetarian and vegan options, especially when I travel. At Raaga there were a number of choices. I had the Baingan Bhartha (roasted eggplant, tomatoes, onions, spices) and was pleased that a small portion was offered. It was tasty, spicy, and hot (temperature). Regarding the spices, you are asked if you want mild-medium-hot. Water... More

We usually eat at another Indian food place in Santa Fe, but wanted to try Raaga on our last trip. We made a reservation, but when we got there, it didn't appear that we needed to. The restaurant is in an old house, very small. From our table in the back you could see into the utility area and restroom.... More
