It all started at the hostess station. For some reason the couple behind us were seated before us. We got to our table and and I sat down on a something on my seat. Maybe a tomato?? Service was slow to start, but food and drinks came quickly after. We had some strange floaties in our iced tea, sent it... More

Food is average but priced relatively high. Plan to send about $12+ for a meal. There are much better option available in Santa Fe based on price and value.

The Southside Plaza is really south, off Zafrano and lots of twists and turns behind some big box stores to find it. Lovely little outside plaza when weather permits and the inside feels like being in a jukebox - colors, poster, bar and lots of glass items. This is a place that you feel at home even if home never... More

Head and shoulders above 'diner food', the Plaza Cafe really delivers. For any meal try the New Mexican steak and eggs -Christmas for a perfectly cooked rib eye and the best chili in town!!

We stopped for lunch in Santa Fe on our travels out west. The attendant at Santa Fe airport highly recommended this place. It was a little frustrating finding it in the shopping center and we had to ask a clerk in the parking lot at Lowe's where it was. But we were so glad we pursued. The restaurant had a... More

The restaurant is in the rear of a shopping center behind a Lowes and a Regal Cinema. Once we found it, we were happy. We only had soups and sandwiches but they were homemade, fresh and tasty. Not too pricey. Comfortable inside.

We had a hard time finding Mexican style desserts at the restaurants where we ate dinner (The Shed in particular), so we felt fortunate to come across this diner with Mexican hot chocolate, coconut flan, and tres leches cake. Yum.

Plaza Cafe Southside has a festive atmosphere. Day and night you will see smiling patrons enjoying their meals here. The wait staff is very attentive without being too much in your face and there is always someone of the family owned business, family members supervising and paying attention that everyone gets great service and great food. I have been here... More

Over priced! A bowl of oatmeal $10. A green chili hamburger $14. Egg plate $13. Even a gyro sandwich/plate is $13. A better gyro across the parking lot at Cleopatra restaurant is only $7. Yes, the food and service is good. But is it worth the more expensive cost for lunch? You tell me. Until prices become more moderate, We... More
