The title says it all. The atmosphere is almost retro café which is fine. They could add some more to the menu. The food was good as was the service. But, almost $40 for a chicken fried steak and a club sandwich? Really?

We are true New Mexico chili addicts and we like it hot. Went for breakfast and had the blue corn, extra hot green chili breakfast enchilada. The chili is not as hot as Horsemen's Haven, but the flavor was better. Absolutely delicious! We will definitely go back. It ran around $30 which included the tip....pretty typical in Santa Fe. The... More

Day trip to Taos heightened our appetites. Decided to try Plaza Cafe Southside due to the fact that it was close to our hotel. Fast seating. Decor is very different to the Cafe on the Plaza. Kind of diner with a flair for modern. Booths and tables. Our waitress, sorry I don't have her name was excellent. So was the... More

Decided to take myself to an early lunch and could not have been more disappointed. Ordered cheese enchiladas Xmas and couldn't even finish as it was so bad. Beans were dry, rice was so not fresh I thought at one point I bit down on a small rock and the enchiladas were not even melted all the way thru and... More

We met up with our friends to hear the band that was playing in the adjoining plaza and have dinner. Our reservations were for the corner, outside dining. It was a perfect night and although the band was really too loud to have conversation (if you go when a band is playing you may want to head inside if you... More

Quaint little place on the square that is family run since 1903! Incredible menu with a little bit of everything. We had street tacos and chicken enchiladas and both were served quickly and were very good. Red sauce had some fire power! This is a must got to while in Santa Fe!

Wonderful, out of the way restaurant just off south Cerrillos in Santa Fe. Incredible desserts. Good food, full bar, but families would be comfortable. Great service. Eclectic decor. Breakfast all day. Sister restaurant to the famous Plaza Cafe located on the plaza. Highly recommend.

We chose this restaurant since it had good reviews and was in walking distance from our hotel - crucial after a twelve hour car trip! Normally, I prefer hole in the wall Mexican restaurants. Coming from Texas, there's a plethora of options, and it just seems that when you get to the "gourmet" and "upscale" attempts at Mex or Tex-Mex,... More

We had eaten breakfast in the Plaza Cafe in downtown Santa Fe that morning and the experience was so wonderful we decided to check out its counter part near our hotel. It proved to be just as good - terrific food, tasted very home made and terrific staff. They were attentive but not too much. They responded when we needed... More

We have been to the original Plaza restaurant and wanted to try this location. The food was good (not super) but the service was horrible. We wanted to sit outside in the patio. We waited for a hostess or anyone who would pay attention and none could be found for almost 5 minutes. We finally gave up and just sat... More
