We are locals, who made the mistake of not wanting to cook on Christmas Day. The good thing about Burro Alley is that they were open on Christmas - probably only one or two of the plethora of restaurants in Santa Fe that were actually open. The Cafe itself was cold - all customers dressed in their hats and scarves,... More

We went here Christmas morning. The night before we checked to make sure they'd be open at 8:00 am. We arrived on time, but they weren't quite ready. In fact all their pastries were still being made. We enjoyed a banana crepe and lots of good coffee while we waited for the pastries to be finished. The bananas were cooked... More

Located just off the Plaza. Service was GLACIAL. We came in for a light lunch. I had the French onion soup. The broth was lukewarm and very dilute. My wife had the seafood crepe, which was unfortunately bland - a little extra salt and sherry would have made a big difference. We went on the advice of a family member.... More

Tucked away just off the square in downtown Santa Fe, this little cafe touched a chord with both my husnand and myself. We opted for the patio, sitting under a colorful umbrella in a serene garden setting. The guacamole salad was so good and different from any other we've had elsewhere, that we have seriously considered driving the 786 miles... More

So, I'll start off by saying our waiter wasn't the friendliest waiter I've ever had. The food was delicious though which is why I give it four pips out of five. I ordered the ham breakfast burrito with red and green chiles. It was delicious and I'm going to go again before I leave. My buddy had their cheeseburger and... More

Ate dinner here recently. Place was nearly empty and there was one server. The menu had no dinner entrees listed, but waiter said I could order anything from the breakfast or lunch menu. Not many options and not many for vegetarians, in particular. Waiter was friendly, but must have been new at his job. Did not know what the soup... More

We were one of two parties for a late lunch in low season. While the wait staff was prompt in initial greeting, menu and water, food service was slow and the food itself was just average. Turkey sandwich was made from processed rectangle lunch meat and the bread it was served on, while tasty, was not the baguette advertised. French... More

This was our 1st dining experience in Santa Fe after a long day driving.. wanted to have a nice relaxing lunch. We seated ourselves, since there did not seem to be any workers visible and sat a little too long before being attended. Should have left when we had the chance. Food is mediocre and from reading some of the... More

We were here during Balloon Fiesta and were having a hard time finding a place to eat. This was not far from old town so gave it a try. The food was o.k. but the service was slow. They needed more help.
