Just as we started walking the area, a huge hail storm hit and we ducked in here for cover. We ended up eating lunch and are very glad we did. Service was excellent, food very good, but the best was the accordion player playing schmaltzy tunes from yesteryear (ok, I used to play the accordion many, many years ago). Had... More

It's just Terrible! The place should just close already. Bad food. Bad service and most of it is blamed on the management.

We stopped in here to grab a quick pastry and coffee because it was the first cafe we encountered. So glad we did! We ended up eating breakfast there every morning of our trip. The friendly staff seemed to really care about pleasing us and doing their work well. The food was delicious, and the coffee tasted better than that... More

This was our first trip to the newly-opened Burro Alley Cafe and what a disappointment! We were a party of six, hoping to have some brunch and watch the World Cup Final. Our party was seated at 11:40 with menus, and 20 minutes later the waitress had still not returned to take an order or even bothered to acknowledge us.... More

Nothing fancy but friendly attentive service that would make me go back. Smallest coffee cups I've ever seen but plenty of refills. Eggs florentine made with creamed spinach. Yummy potatoes and good size but not overwhelming portions. Glad to find this place as not too many options for breakfast.

Out of basic utensils, no refill of ice(less) tea. Late afternoon, many closed, too bad they weren't

If a restaurant says they're going to be open at 8.00 am, they need to be open, tables set, umbrellas up and ready to serve. This was NOT the case today. We had to wait while they were still setting up. It was 25 minutes before our coffee order arrived. The breakfast food was so-so. All 4 orders arrived cool... More

Ate breakfast out on the patio and watched the birds bathe in the water fountain and feed their babies, the unsweetened cinnamon iced tea hit the spot, Got two eggs breakfast and with otatoes and 4 slices of bacon booya fresh toast and fresh strawberry jam was the perfect portion, my partner had the breakfast burrito, we could have shared... Couldn't resist the place and the welcoming, albeit cluttered and unloved courtyard. But the food was mostly gloppy, from the salad to the pastas. And pretty tasteless. Too bad. I hope the owners make some changes as the place has potential.

I had breakfast here this week and the service was poor: possibly the worst I have had in the States. Admittedly the food was ok however no-one seemed to know what they were doing and it took longer to get the bill than it did to eat the omelet/drink the coffee. There are so many places to eat in Santa... More
