Fabulous food, fun and friendly atmosphere. Caribbean, African food. Try the award- winning Sweet Potato and Black Been Curry Soup- it's one of my favorites.

Place never fails to please. Moroccan lamb stew kills! The coconut curry will tempt you to go vegan. Most of the reviews are spot on. Place is packed every night. Called ahead to see if we needed reservations. Person that answered phone said "we close at 9. If you show up before 9 we will feed you." I eat here... More

The veggie and bean soup special was amazing, the banana wrapped mahi was good. The chicken skewers were a little dry. We had a blast shopping at the store next door for spices.

We had vegan and vegetarian items from the menu ( it is not a vegan nor vegetarian restaurant but there are manu options that we could choose from. They are also willing to adapt the dishes which is very pleasant) and WOW !!!! This is the best restaurant in Santa Fe. Not the best location, ( not that it's a... More

some travel to Santa Fe to get away, find mystery, or just relax. At Jambo cafe you get all three. Went for lunch with friends and found this perfect gem of a restaurant. The chef is from the Lamu archipelago. I wonder if Zheng He found similar food when his fleet sank there in 1415, but that is another review.... More

Met a friend for lunch at Jambo and was thrilled with our selections: I had the mango gazpacho which was the best I've ever had and a skewered chicken dish with olives and feta which was piquant and pleasingly plated. Can't wait to return there!

We go to Jambo every few months with a large group and always enjoy the food and the experience. It's a fun, casual and comfortable place with deliciously different food. Service is friendly and good. Last night I tried the watermelon gazpacho - the perfect summer soup. I also had the organic jerk chicken salad which is always delicious and... More

Friendly waitstaff and interesting food. Accommodated our 10 person group with no problem. Not what you normally go to Santa Fe for, but is a culinary adventure. Try the goat stew!

Went here alone kind of early. It was not busy but I had trouble getting any attention. Service was indifferent and the service people acted like they were doing you a favour. They all look kind of unhappy. I ordered the lamb sandwich on pita. I was expecting succulent, well seasoned lamb but instead it was dry & bland &... More
