We chose this restaurant based on others' reviews and weren't disappointed. The service was friendly and prompt, the food (Morroccan lamb stew for me, mixed Jamaican plate for my husband) was delicious and perfectly spiced, and the cost was very reasonable.

while visiting Santa Fe , I found this gem with African and Caribbean foods. I had a delicious chicken with peanut sauce. I loved it as everyone at my table loved their meals. Don't miss the lemonade with mango and ginger.

Great food, great atmosphere, great prices. Strip mall location, but very cosy inside and plenty of parking. Wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Don't understand the combination of Eastern African and Caribbean dishes, but who cares! Worth a visit

Family dinner and we wanted food without green chiles. Great food with good flavors. We had goat stew, coconut chicken curry, curried chicken wrap with cumin fries and a combo platter which provided a taste of several dishes. We raved about everything. This place was busy so it was good to have reservations. They also do a take out business.... More

I was so excited to have had this restaurant recommended to me. Having lived in Africa for a few years I am always interested in renewing my cultural experience. I also miss not having Caribbean food often enough. This place met all my needs. I had the curried goat which I have had often in the Caribbean and it was... More

Read the reviews and since we like flavorful cuisines, we decided to try. I ordered the jerk chicken. It was passable; not nearly as good as we make at home. My wife tried the lentil stew. Again, it was OK but not enough so to repeat. A side of pita bread was also unremarkable. We were expecting some very vibrant... More

Nice variety of foods. Great vision for helping others. Our waiter was aloof and unhelpful on our first visit. Not knowing how spicy hot the selections were we needed some advice. Not forth coming from our waiter. Another came along and readily offered to bring us a taste of a few dishes to aid in a decision. The portions are... More

I was in Santa Fe visiting my cousin (that lives in Santa Fe). She wanted to take me to Jambo Cafe to try some African and Caribbean food. Just by walking into this cafe I could tell this would be a good meal-the smells of spices made my mouth-water. And I was not disappointed. My cousin said EVERYTHING on the... More

It has been a while since I have been somewhere where absolutely everything on the menu is delicious and well thought out. Don't think too hard about what to order, you really can't go wrong! Also , the desserts are well worth the splurge.
