Simply the best.

I should eat here more often. Well prepared, well seasoned with great service. GREAT service. Me the vegan picky eater ? Lentil stew. Just great. My carnivore companion had the lamb and loved it to. Get over here

Four of us approached this dining experience with considerable enthusiasm after reading TA's reviews, but were not blown away. Menu extensive, server quite good but thought the food just average.

Had dinner a few mights ago, took about 15 minutes simply to review the variety of choices on the menu. Such an unexpected blend of tastes - Deb had the Moroccan Stew, which was delicious and I had these croquettes made of plaintain, goat cheese, a lot of spices and things I don't remember but would never have imagined putting... Looking for tasty international cuisine, Jambo Cafe's your place! As you walk into the colorfully decorated space, the aroma of spices immediately wets your appetite. The menu is a mix of African - Caribbean: try the Lamu Coconut Pili Pili Tiger Shrimp over basmati rice, or dig into a bowl of Moroccan Lamb Stew. The Kenyan Beef Kabobs is another... More

Dinner there last night. We had seen Jambo Cafe on Triple D on Food Network a few months ago and since we already had our trip planned, we had to include it. The food was absolutely delicious! Fresh, seasoned just right and full of unique flavor. The lamb I had was melt in your mouth tender. Better yet was the... More

My sister and I were in Santa Fe on a sister trip. We are originally from Kenya and my husband had heard the Jambo Cafe advertised on the radio, I believe, and thought it sounded very worth going to. He googled it and we looked at the menu. I was thrilled to see Ugali - Kenya grits of sorts is... More

The food was very good. Lots of attention to texture, flavor & aromas. The decor was Caribbean fusion (very playful). I had a stew, which I enjoyed very much. I would recommend this to those who enjoy the out-of-the-ordinary dining experience.

I had the organic chicken jerk with fried plantain, rice, and beans, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was so tender and flavorful, even the rice and beans were full of flavor. There were so many other menu items that I wanted to try - I will make sure to visit this place every time I am in Santa... More
