Unique! Tasty! Delicious!

We at first were a little sceptical, Jambo Cafe is locate din a strip mall. However, the smiles, great service, terrific ambiance and most of all the great food; won us over. Unique menu with many new and exciting dishes. We both enjoyed our meals. We were stuffed but still tried desert, which was... read more

The place does not look like much but the food is great! The staff is also very friendly. Especially the starters are great, forgot what we had but is was totally different from what we expected, but very tasty.

We ate at Jambo Café for the first time, visiting this area from out of state. It happened to be Restaurant Week in Santa Fe so we tried the three course meal available. Wow! Every bite was delicious and most unusual in spices and preparation. Very unique goat cheese, beet and spinach salad: did not leave ONE bite on the... More

Everything was amazing. When we walked in, the smell of Caribbean spice set the tone for what was to come. Everything was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. The service was excellent. If we could hear every day we would.

the plantain appetizer was amazing! even my friend who doesn't like plaintains loved them. Next I had the black bean and sweet potato soup with the jerk tofu wrap and it was a very flavorful and delicious vegetarian dish. we loved everything -great little spot in the middle of the strip mall!

My wife and I bring all of our friends who are visiting Santa Fe to dine here. The service is always friendly and the food always excellent. If you are tired of the "same old same old", give Jambo a try.

We stopped here for a late lunch after spending the morning hiking. The restaurant is located in a strip mall, but easily spotted by the large red, black, and green cut out of Africa on the roof. We started with the stuffed phyllo - stuffed with spinach, black Moroccan olives, organic feta, roasted red peppers and chickpeas, over organic field... More

Seriously phenomenal food, sadly poor service. We felt like we were put on the back burner and had to call over waiters several times from across the restaurant because they never checked on us..maybe if 1 server was assigned to a table instead of 3 going all over they could be more organized..but other than that the FOOD..OMG the food!... A great tasting alternative to other Santa Fe restaurants. The coconut/peanut chicken stew and the curry chicken stew are taste treats. The mahi mahi was a bit over cooked. The talapia is nicely seasoned, sometimes the portions are not consistent. The combo with the goat stew is excellent however as others have mentioned, eat cautiously because of small and sharp... My wife and I come to Santa Fe for part of the winter and love this place. The soups, and entries are really great. They use spices, balanced in such a way that will leave you amazed with every bite. The owner, Ahmad & waitstaff are personal, fun and engaging to be in their presence. We can not speak more... More
