I have been to Vinaigrette maybe 5 or more times. I loved it the first time; it has such a unique culinary profile in this town of red and green chile, posole and beans. Plus it is in an interestingly remodeled old style home. This type of dwelling is usually low ceilinged and a bit claustrophobic. The owner has opened... More

Excellent salads, very good selection and variety of very fresh and tasty salads, vegetarian or with meat.Excellent service, very nice outside patio. Very good food. Very good desserts, few soups and sandwiches. Casual, I would eat there anytime when in Santa Fe'.

Essentially, Vinaigrette does one thing and does it well--salads. Almost all are offered with the option of adding chicken, steak, shrimp, etc., but the salads themselves are generously portioned, with healthy and inventive combinations. A bit off the beateh path, but worth finding. Only caution: be prepared to hunt for parking at lunch time.

I had a group of 25 staying at a hotel nearby and needed an easy and good place for two of our lunches. I had eaten at Vinaigrette on previous trips to Santa Fe and thought it would be a good choice. The owner, Gabe, was very helpful in setting up two different menus of salads and sandwich for our... More

Mostly salads: keep vegetarian, or add protein as desired. Great desserts. Setting casual, wait staff attentive and friendly.

You who have eaten there know of whom I speak; he's perfected enunciated speech, gets flustered easily, darts like a hummingbird, and almost became a topic of conversation. The service was slow, a delicious slice of peach pie contained a peach pit (unfortunately the person in whose mouth it was in took a big bite of pie), and it was... More

As its name implies Vinaigrettes specializes in salads, but these are not your grandma's salads. They obtain the freshest ingredients available and it shows in the taste. Seasonings are unique and well blended. I had the Arugula Duck, with duck comfit and goat cheese. It was fabulous. Good wine and beer selection, too. On and your GPS may not do... More

We were looking for something healthy and light, rather than the heavy cheese, rice and beans so popular in the area. This was one of the best selections of salads and unique items we had seen in quite awhile. Lots of filled tables also, indicating a popular stop. They have a great, quiet, secluded patio and a couple of tables... More

I am crazy about salads. When we asked a recommendation for a light dinner, 'vinaigrette ' was mentioned immediately. The atmosphere is very cozy. The menu is amazing. Never saw any place as rich as this for the variety of salads. Had The Beet Goes On (fresh baby greens and arugula tossed with tangy goat cheese, chopped pistachios, balsamic roasted... More

Locally sourced produce contributes to the awesome foods at Vinaigrette. We had cucumber dill (chilled) and wild mushroom soups which were both superb. For dinner my wife had the Nutty Pear salad with grilled chicken and I had the All Kale Caesar! Salad with grilled trout filet. Both salads were both delicious and large. So large, in fact that we...
