Good eats

My husband really enjoyed his breakfast burrito. I had the tomato and mozzarella melt, which was absolutely delightful. The salad was good, too.

We were looking for the best green chili stew in Santa Fe and, based on the reviews on this site, we were looking forward to a wonderful lunch. Unfortuantely, these folks think green chile stew is a bowl full (and I do mean a bowl full) of diced potatoes in a beeff flavored chile broth. In fairness, there were a... More

Very quaint and casual restaurant. A place where locals hang out. For lunch the menu included burgers, salads, sandwiches and Mexican food. Beware the Mexican food can be a little spicy. The service was very quick and friendly.

Walking around the plaza and popped in for a drink and snack. Great personal service and the Chicken Enchilada were fantastic. Very "homestyle" feel and taste.

The prices are good as are the variety of food offered. I highly recommend the Cuban Reuben sandwich. Even one of the workers have that as a favorite.

We were here for lunch and came back again, because the vegetarian enchiladas were so good. The food is homemade, so you will wait a bit for your food, especially if you are there during peak meal periods. If it is too crowded, I recommend getting your order to go and finding a nice place in the park across the... More

After seeing the high ratings on Trip Advisor, I made it a point to go for breakfast. First trip was a week ago on Saturday morning. Had the sausage omelette. Came with a large order of hash browns, Christmas on the sauce. It was busy but the service was fast and the omelette was very good and huge. You won't... More

We went for lunch, and the restaurant is very small. Many people were leaving rather than wait. We had the chicken enchiladas, which were average. I asked about the side dishes, saying I did not like very spicy food, but I suppose they misunderstood. Possibly this is authentic mexican food, but if you can't tolerate "heat", maybe look for another... More

Started our second SF day with breakfast at Palacio Café which was recommended by our concierge. We were not disappointed. This is a tiny family run café. Indoor and outdoor dining is available. You will be greeted with a smile and they will work to have you doing the same. I asked for iced tea, an unusual breakfast request, and... More
