We were looking for a place to eat lunch while in downtown Santa Fe near the Santa Fe Plaza. And we found Palacio Café just off the plaza. It didn’t look like much on the outside. It wasn’t crowded but the menu looked appealing. Also we weren’t aware of the great TripAdvisor ratings that this restaurant had before we entered.... More

My husband and I loved Palacio Cafe! We spent 2 days in Santa Fe and ended up eating here twice because on the first visit we were so full we did not have room to try the flan. The green chile stew was fabulous as was the tamale plate. On our second visit we did breakfast with a smothered burrito... More

We went to Santa Fe for an event at the History Museum. Since this place was only 2 blocks away, we thought we would try it. We did not want a big lunch, so that fact that half sandwiches combined with either soup or salad were options, was what got us in the door. However, each of us decided on... More

although the fridge and chips display make it seem a little gas station-like, it is a cozy place with good food, family feel and lovely service. We really enjoyed it.

I was looking for the "Best Green Chile Stew in Santa Fe" and this place popped up. With this many outstanding reviews it was a good chance to take. Both my wife and I had the Green Chile Stew. It is a bit non-traditional for New Mexican GCS and it is good but not quite what I was looking for.... More

Damian was most solicitous--served tasty huevos rancheros and breakfast taco plate quickly. Salsa was muy sabrosa!!

A wonderful little café. The server and the chef were wonderful especially because they tried to make my food to my liking. I'm definitely coming back!

This little café was the best café in the downtown Santa Fe area. We found ourselves going there twice in our stay. The food was delicious; the friendliness of the owner and the chef won us over. I see myself going back on our next visit to Santa Fe.

For a 22 seat restaurant, don't miss it. Very conveniently located just off the square. You can order off a big board or a menu. The food was so fresh. My green chile stew had extremely flavorful chucks of meat. It is scratch made each and every day. I commented some much on how good the food was they offered... More

We did twice while visiting over Christmas. We were on an R & D trip to discover authentic New Mexican flavors for our catering company back in California and got a hot tip about Damian's Green Chili Stew. It turned out to be some of the very best we had! Also delicious were the panini and the huevos rancheros. The... More
