We had a great lunch at the Palacio Cafe. The food was excellent and the service very good. Very convenient to the square and Governor's Palace, nicely decorated. But the main reason to go is the food is good and priced just right.

Real, scratch cooked goodness. Great red and green salsa. The smothered burrito is massive. Bring an empty stomach. Fresh ingredients means you will get a burst of flavor in every bite. The handheld burrito is loaded with flavor too but in a neat pocket that can be munched on the go. Plenty of locals means this place is a great... More

Had them with a green chili sauce. Had that roasted flavor. Best chicken enchiladas we have ever tasted in a restaurant. The waitress was extremely friendly and personable. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. And we definitely will be back.

This locally owned restaurant is located on the north side of the plaza and truly a hidden gem! We were staying close to the café and decided to follow other great recommendations from this site. We went for lunch on a Sunday and were able to sit down immediately, but shortly after we arrived at noon, many other customers were... More

I love to patronize individual-owned restaurants, and Palacio Cafe is one of the best in Santa Fe. We went twice - one visit we had burgers which were outstanding, and the other visit we had pozole soup and sandwiches which were heavenly. The pozole soup is spicy enough, but not too spicy for non-chili lovers. The service is quick and... More

Best huevos rancheros I've had in quite a while - just excellent green chile. Loved the local atmosphere, even though it was close to the touristy area

This is a charming little cafe not far from the Plaza. It's not very big but the tables are still far enough apart that you can hear each other. Many customers come in and get their orders as take out. The staff are all very friendly and polite. We ordered a BLTA and a pear salad to share. Both were... More

Open early with a good breakfast menu. Food was good but the service was slow and the help unorganized but friendly.
