Super lunch

We arrived in town late and hungry. Hotel suggested this place was nearby and I had read about it on TA. We ate at one of the 2 outside tables under a big umbrella. My husband got the green chile stew and we shared a club sandwich on a wonderful sourdough bread. Very nice introduction to Santa Fe.

Located in a great location but too small for our party of 6. Expected more New Mexican food than a sandwich shop. Gluten free bread was a nice surprise and good.

Small cozy atmosphere with local flavor. The owner trained at the Shed and has a similar menu at lower price point. Like the Shed they have excellent Red chile.

We tried this restaurant for the first time because we arrived in Santa Fe after our regular lunch spot was closed. It was after 2:30 and we didn't have to wait. Menu had a nice variety of southwestern, sandwiches and salads. We had cheese enchiladas and veggie enchiladas. Both the red and green chile were delicious; very flavorful and spicy.... More

Best Mexican meal I've ever had. We overheard other families saying the same thing. We all found it on Trip Advisor and we all raved!!! Super charming, clean, family run restaurant with homemade EVERYTHING. Best chips and salsa, chicken enchiladas, beef burrito, service, I could go on and on! I ate every bite and enjoyed meeting the owners who graciously... More

I loved it! I had half blta and cup of green chili. Best I've had. My son had cheese enchiladas but did NOT like them . No queso here. This is more soup and sandwiches NOT Mexican. But as I said , try the green chili.

Palacio Cafe, near the heart of the Plaza in Santa Fe, is a delightful little cafe for lunch. There is not much seating inside and less outside, but the food is authentic Mexican and the atmosphere wonderful. What's the catch? The crowd. You will need to get there early for lunch or late for lunch. We got there about 1:15... More

Really enjoyed our lunch here. I had the veggie enchiladas (excellent) and my companions had sandwiches. Even the iced tea was extra-good. You can tell they go the extra mile to prepare high-quality food.

Arrived in Santa Fe for first time. Friends told us to go to Plaza. Had no idea where to eat. Read TA reviews. Maria & Damian are the owners. Maria took our orders and her husband Damian coked the food and delivered it to the table. Highly recommend. We talked to to Maria quite a while. She answered all our... More

This was quite simply, the best food we had while in Santa Fe, and we ate out three meals a day for 5 days!
