We ate breakfast here this morning based on the other reviews, and it was as good as we hoped...large portions, freshly prepared, good service. We ordered the breakfast burrito, omelets, and the Palacio breakfast, and each of us was very satisfied. Parking was available on a nearby side street. We would return for breakfast or to try the lunch menu... More

My dining companions and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast and lunch at this charming restaurant. The service and food were both excellent. I had breakfast while my companions had lunch (breakfast is served all day). The restaurant is located just off the plaza. We'll be back! The Palacio Cafe is well-deserving of its high Trip Advisor rating.

Stumbled into this tasteful cafe hoping for a cup of coffee, a restroom and perhaps a muffin. Found instead the best heuvo rancheros EVER, reasonable prices, and hosts that made you feel like a friend from the get-go. Managed to score the recipe for the just perfect red sauce, spicy enough to know it is there without going over the... More

Owners are wonderful hosts, providing excellent food (we had the breakfast burrito and breakfast tacos) and service that will definitely bring us back! It's wonderful to start the day with a full belly and smile on our face!

Both the food and service were excellent! This family run restaurant deserves all the praise it gets. The menu is varied and everything is fresh. This is not typical "off the truck" food, it is homemade from old recipes. You can order a New Mexico special but also get sandwiches, paninnis, special teas, wonderful french fries and delicious deserts. The... More

We stopped into the Palacio for lunch after shopping around the plaza. The Palacio is only a few steps from our hotel room at the Drury. We had sandwiches and a burger that were very good, some of the best fries I've had anywhere. Cost was reasonable and service was excellent. If there is any issue it would be the... More

Loved it. Quaint and local. Green chili cheeseburgers were amazing and fries were to die for. Service was quick but not rushed.

This downtown Santa Fe restaurant serves high quality, yummy food at a very reasonable price. The menu is varied so there is something for everyone. Their New Mexican food is wonderful, but there are also non chile options that are equally as good. You won't be disappointed especially when the bill comes. It is only open for breakfast and lunch... More

Very nice small café, super friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast. Juevos Rancheros were a delight. Will go back if I ever get to Santa Fe again.
