We met friends here for a small get together and were looking forward to some delicious Vietnamese food. We came early and were one of only about three tables occupied but it filled up before too long. It took us a while to order from all the chatting we were doing, and the drinks came with no issues. But, we... More

Tasty all the way. While this city has many (nearly 200?) eateries, Lan's is one where we go for a celebration. She herself has the great taste. Feel lucky for the experience.

Ordered take out and when we arrived 25 minutes later the food was not ready and the counter was very disorganized. We waited five more minutes( saw what were most likely our egg rolls come out to be delivered to a table but they circled and went back to the kitchen.). This might have been a hint, but it was... Tried this restaurant because of the positive reviews - We were disappointed. The challenge was to define/describe the origins of the food - wife eventually described it as "fusion" - the challenge then became "fusion of what" - we finally decided it was a new, as yet, unidentified country/culture. When discussing our concerns with one of the management we were... More

We got a little tired of all the Southwest/Mexican food we were eating during our recent vacation in Santa Fe and so wanted a change of pace and found Lan's. While we do not hold ourselves out to be experts on Vietnamese food, we have had it regularly at home and thought that Lan's was a wonderful restaurant. It is... More

Everything were ordered was outstanding. I have never had Vietnamese food before this but I was very impressed. It is not all Vietnamese, for instance I had Carpaccio but like I said it was all fantastic. Really fresh and earthy flavors. Very friendly, good service. I would highly recommend it.

Very nice atmosphere in this place. Waitstaff was friendly but they seemed confused as to who was going to serve us at first. We ordered spring rolls and 2 entrees. The spring rolls left a lot to be desired. They were very light bodied and for the price should have been twice the size of the serving. Noodle bowls we... More

I actually found out about this restaurant by overhearing diners at the next table rave about it while dining somewhere else. The food here is good, above average, although I wouldn't say outstanding. However, the service was terrible as the two waiters could not coordinate with each other and I got two drinks, two checks, etc. The decor and the... More

Although this restaurant bears a Vietnamese name, the food is not true Vietnamese. We surmise this restaurant serves Cambodian-style dishes. As an example, one of the most popular appetizers is spring rolls. Traditionally, these rolls have pork and/or shrimps which are simply boiled, without curry. And the dipping sauce is traditionally soybean based, not curry based. There were only two... More
