delicious food--could eat more

Real nice place with beautiful outdoor dining. My husband had halibut and I had the vegetarian sampler. They were both excellent. Our only complaint was the portions were a bit small. Our waiter was excellent and made great suggestions.

We went there for my mom's birthday. We had a great experience. The whole meal and service was top notch. Probably the best ribeye I have had in a long time. The duck had great flavor. This may sound crazy but the mint chocolate chip ice cream was amazing!!!! Best I have ever had!

Everything about this experience was superlative...the service, the food, the wine choices....starting with the Spring pea soup which was loaded with delicious taste and textures, all explained to us as it was served. Actually I could have had several bowls of this refreshing soup, nothing else, and been completely satisfied. I ordered the pork tenderloin (almost didn't since I have... More

Small, busy fine dining in Santa Fe. This was a great surprise. We obtained last minute reservations after arriving in town late afternoon. We were seated at a small table, one side a booth and the other a chair. Felt like Paris. The place quickly filled to capacity. We ordered drinks and the were promptly delivered. My wife order the... My husband and myself had dinner during a vacation in Santa Fe. We sat outdoors in their large outdoor space. The service was attentive and professional. Someone came out with each course to thoroughly explain it. The food was, fresh, much of it locally sourced , incredibly creative and delicious. The tastes were clean and not over-woredk. I would definitely... More

We went to R Martin last night and generally loved it. The standouts were the Spring Pea soup --much more than just soup, and full of interesting garnishes. Tuna Tartare was also wonderful but a little skimpy, --the soy pudding in it a revelation. asparagus with Serrano ham and a sous-vide egg was masterful. The lamb (chop and braised cheeks)... More

We arrived an hour early for our reservation, but the we were seated immediately. The service was very good and we enjoyed the food. After appetizer, entrée and dessert we were a little too full though, since it was pretty rich, but hey, fat does make things taste great and we should have moderated ourselves a little bit by sharing... This restaurant is undoubtedly in the top ten I have ever eaten at. The service, the wine, the meal were all above outstanding. Yes, it is a little expensive, but very much so worth it. We had the duck breast and the ribeye steak. Both could have been cut with a butter knife. The artistic presentation of the dishes were... More

My girlfriend and I took 3 of our friends to Restaurant Martin to celebrate our friendships and reunion in Santa Fe. We enjoyed everything about the meal. We were quickly seated and the the service throughout the night was spot on. Everyone ordered two courses and dessert. The fresh bread was delicious and the food didn't let up. I had... More

On a recent trip to Santa Fe, we dined twice for dinner at Restaurant Martin which was within walking distance of our inn. We have been visiting Santa Fe and New Mexico for over 20 years. This time, we found the friendly, professional service and food at Restaurant Martin a stand-out over others in Santa Fe. The chef designs the... More
