This place was a surprise find as we had visited Santa Fe many times and walked by it and never noticed. But they have an interesting menu and talented chefs. They have fresh seafood regularly - rare in Santa Fe and they do some interesting dishes with it. Great prawns, calamari. Their large steak is nicely marinated and cooked so... More

My husband and I loved this quaint restaurant with amazing food when we visited Santa Fe last year. We returned again this year for our 15 year anniversary, and were so disappointed that our dinner was ended mid-meal with a big case of altitude sickness. We told the manager that my husband was feeling ill and instead of calling us... More

What a wonderful restaurant! FRESH seafood! I had a Caesar salad and Chilean Sea Bass which was fantastic! The Sea Bass for prepared perfectly. I was traveling solo and felt very comfortable in this restaurant. I was seated at a nice table and the waiter was friendly and attentive. What a relaxing and very enjoyable dinner. I would highly recommend... More

This was the second time I have had dinner at Galisteo Bistro. Both times were close to perfection. Food and service excellent. My guests were world travelers and all enjoyed their meals, wine and service. We especially liked the grilled artichoke appetizer, the sea bass and the profiteroles, although everything was tasty and well-presented. If the restaurant management is reading... More

Great atmosphere, friendly service, well-prepared if not overly creative food. If you have a yearning for straightforward grilled meat or other dishes this is your place.

We walked in and it was busy, so we sat at the bar area. The food was very good and fresh. First time I have had grilled Romain. The staff was very nice and attentive.

Galisteo Bistro is one of a small handful of restaurants in Santa Fe that can be counted on for an excellent upper-end dining experience. Service is knowledgeable, attentive and consistent, and the quality of the food is always excellent, particularly the seafood selections. Recently my wife and I dined on Dover Sole (rarely on menus on Santa Fe.) It was... More

For the last 4 or 5 years, this restaurant has been one of our favorites. With Santa Fe being a second home, we frequent the town often and always eat here at least twice during each stay. While in town for the holidays, we discovered that the previous owner has retired and sold the restaurant so the menu and staff... More

This was a perfect dinner! We had a ceaser salad and each had the beef tournedos and it was cooked perfectly. The attention to detail and plating was just perfect. If we come back to Santa Fe, we will be back. Great night and perfect amount of food.

How is that you know when a restaurant experience is going to be memorable? It starts at the door. At this restaurant, it was longer than ten minutes before anybody acknowledged us. At least this gave us a lot of time to view the chalk board menu and begin formulating what we would enjoy eating. Finally we were seated without... More
