Great food

Excellent food and service, way over priced for the portion size. 4 med shrimp 9 bucks and halibut was great, but small portion for the price, same goes for dessert

My sister and I had a wonderful meal there on a rainy evening in March. We ordered a few appetizers and shared an entree. We couldn't have been happier with the food and with the service. The room is nice, comfortable, not ostentatious or too loud. Kitchen open to view which is always interesting. It's pricey, but worth the expense... More

Great dining experience with the Owner taking an active role. Fantastic appetizers starting with frog legs, oxtail and unbelievable crab cakes. Main entrees were lamb and venison and both were delicious. Don't bypass the desserts. The pastry chef is superb!

It was a nasty snowy evening. Never thought we would get out of the house but we braved the weather. Were we glad we did! The restaurant has a cozy, warm feeling. The wait staff couldn't have been better. And the food! The food was yummy. Our party had snapper, ruby trout and bison short ribs. We all agreed these... More

After numerous meals featuring New Mexican food (which we love), this was a nice break. The added bonus was that it was Restaurant Week, so 3-course prix fixe was $30/person. They were also featuring wines from Cline Winery that were a perfect compliment to our meal. We both had bison short ribs. I had stuffed calamari for an appetizer and... More

We visited the resturaunt during resturaunt week. The service was great and the food was even better. We will definitely pay a return visit.

This is truly a bistro, small intimate even cramped and, like every restaurant in downtown Santa Fe difficult to find a nearby parking spot-but worth it. The Bison rib and Venison chop were excellent and the melted chocolate mousse topped with coffee ice cream is not to be missed.

We had not planned to go here but people at our hotel made us change our plans and have dinner at Galisteo! Absolutely, delicious, freshly prepared and beautifully presented! Best meal in Santa Fe!

This was our second visit and will be our last. On the plus side: good fresh seafood. We never go out and it was Valentine's night. What a disaster! Reservations made for 30 days in advance meant nothing---wait time of almost 20 min. No one to greet you. Indifferent and borderline rude wait staff. Appetizer supposed to serve hot was... More

As we work our way through all of Santa Fe's restaurants, Galisteo is now our #1!! The meal was exceptional from appetizer through coffee and dessert. Service impeccable (and I'm an east coast snob!) Scallops (appetizer) were PERFECT! Caesar Salads very well done with true anchovies. Wahoo and Zuppa di Pesce fabulous. The Mud Puddle is to die for. Spend... More
