This is a little gem of a restaurant. I had the Awesome Lamb Ossobuco, and it truly lived up to its name. It was the best I have had this side of Italy (although the accompanying braised potatoes could have been crispier). There was nothing but excellent meals had at our table. The wine list was extensive and the by... More

We went to Galisteo Bistro for dinner during balloon fiesta weekend, and had one of the most memorable dining experiences of our life. The food was delicious and the service was superb. Our waiter, Liroh, orchestrated the perfect dinner. We had this lovely artichoke salad with fennel followed by an amazing swordfish with kale and a side of romanasco veggies... More

We actually dined here twice on our recent visit to Santa Fe. Dinner the first night was outstanding as was the service. On our second visit one of us ordered the Onion Tart which turned out to be a piece of flatbread with onions over it. The flavor was alright but the presentation was not as expected. With a bit... First visit with new owners/chef. Great service, certainly the best we had in our two week stay. Our main dishes were very well prepared. I really took exception to the uninspired side dishes, which consisted of steamed vegetables, even though they were perfectly cooked. Everything seemed on the simple side, including desserts. I prefer when nice restaurants prepare things I... More

Totally delightful evening August 10, 2014 In addition to delicious, interesting food, this place totally gets hospitality. We arrived without a reservation as did 3 other couples at the same time. The restaurant owner and host knew he had several deuces opening up and cheerfully offered us champagne if we were willing to wait 20 minutes. We accepted as did... More

Two couples went 9/28/2014 at 7:30 with a reservation. We had seen the menu and it sounded wonderful. We were seated promptly and service was good. One of us rated his dinner very good. One ordered the black grouper with "2 prawns." when it came, the prawns were huge and no fish. When we asked, our server checked, came back... More

The dinner our group had at Galisteo Bistro as part of the Wine & Chili Fiesta was off the chart! Everything was prepared to perfection and tasted awesome. The service was great as well. Everyone in our party of 8 kept saying "WOW"! I would definitely eat here again.

We had dinner on Friday. It was 3 of us. We came earlier (5:30), by 6:30 pm the place was packed and no tables available. We ordered bottle of red wine, our first choice was not available. For appetizers two of us had Savory Gorgonzola Torte with Walnut Crust, salad and beets and 3rd person ordered white bean soup. Both... More

Four of us had a wonderful meal last night at Galisteo Bistro. Hadn't been since new ownership. Great menu and presentation. Lots of seafood and meat choices, as well as vegetarian options. Nice wine list and beer choices.

Once upon a time in beautiful Santa Fe, a couple knew they would be lost in this vast land of fantastic food, decided to cut to the chase and consult Trip Advisor. After reviewing many 5 star recommendations, decided on Gallisteo. WOW! Great decision. One had the delicious, fresh and surprisingly light dish of pasta alfredo with huge bay oysters,... More
