Sweet spot in Santa Fe

This restaurant has been in Santa Fe for a few years now and though the menu seems to have varied some over the years (originally had more Italian-type dishes), the quality and service hasn't waned. Prix Fixe 3 course dinner for 2 and a great bottle of wine for $106.00-all in Santa Fe! Delicious tri-tips and tenderloin. The veggies were pure French...delicious. Best desserts in a long time! Best tip: Don't take the table at the back by the kitchen or the booth at the front. Bench is too short! Everything else awesome. Best waiter-Ben.

We walked down here from the Inn at the Governors for dinner and had a wonderful time. The food was local fresh and tasted wonderfully. The service helped us with our questions and made suggestions as to wine pairings which were quite good. We will definitely come back when we are back in Santa Fe.

Located on Galisteo Street where it crosses the river. Open kitchen design, exposed brick, large picture window facing street. Average service. Limited menu -- three meat entrees, three fish entrees -- along with about a similar number of appetizers. There is a daily prix fixe menu, or one can order individually. We started with the calamari, which was grilled and... More

Having had a big lunch we wanted a light supper, and hit the Happy Hour )and prices- wine or appetizers or salads, $8.) The salads and appetizers were huge, and tasty - enough for a meal had we been hungry. The food was delicious and the bread even more so. The wine selection was very good and interesting, domestic and... More

Stopped in here for Happy Hour. Husband had Kobe beef sliders, prepared well, and I had a Caesar salad, with fresh romaine, delicious Gorgonzola cheese, and a bit of anchovy with a sprinkle of aged Parmesan cheese. Delightful and reasonable. Would definitely return for dinner.

Excellent food and service, way over priced for the portion size. 4 med shrimp 9 bucks and halibut was great, but small portion for the price, same goes for dessert

My sister and I had a wonderful meal there on a rainy evening in March. We ordered a few appetizers and shared an entree. We couldn't have been happier with the food and with the service. The room is nice, comfortable, not ostentatious or too loud. Kitchen open to view which is always interesting. It's pricey, but worth the expense... More

Great dining experience with the Owner taking an active role. Fantastic appetizers starting with frog legs, oxtail and unbelievable crab cakes. Main entrees were lamb and venison and both were delicious. Don't bypass the desserts. The pastry chef is superb!

It was a nasty snowy evening. Never thought we would get out of the house but we braved the weather. Were we glad we did! The restaurant has a cozy, warm feeling. The wait staff couldn't have been better. And the food! The food was yummy. Our party had snapper, ruby trout and bison short ribs. We all agreed these... More
