recommended by friends - we felt it was good, not great. Best dish we had was the bison short ribs. service was a bit inconsistent.

I really liked the Gnocchi, and heard good reviews about the skate. But whatever you eat, leave room for the mud puddle. It is a fantastic dessert.

True bistro ambiance with innovative offerings from a young Cordon Bleu trained rising star chef, a well balanced and priced wine list, and outstanding, laid back, and friendly service from owner to server and buss staff. My wife and I liked it so much that it was the only restaurant we visited twice during our one week stay in Santa... More

I feel bad about this review because by all accounts it is a very good restaurant. The ambiance is good, the service is good and apparently everything else on the menu is great as well. Just don't order the bison which is a new item. The meat was extremely chewy and covered in such a sweet sauce it felt like... More

This is one of our must go to restaurants whenever we visited Santa Fe. My husband loves the lamb shank. All of the food is very good. We also enjoy sitting at the bar and watching them prepare the food. The restaurant is not overly large so it is best to have reservations.

In Santa Fe for the later afternoon from Taos. Decided to give it a try for dinner. The owner graciously gave us a table and said the table was reserved in an hour, but not to worry, it would work out.. This place was really great, from the service, food, to the atmosphere. We split the cheese Flight, spinach salad... More

We had the grass-fed beef special (Galisteo Tournados) and the Crab Cake Salad. The beef was melt-in-your mouth delicious; could have been cut with a fork. The crab cake salad struck me as a bit of a hodge-podge concoction - delicious warm crab cake with cold risotto (also good), greens and baby tomatoes. The mud puddle was yummy, and service... More

No one thing about this restaurant is outstanding, but when you put it all together it adds up to a five star review. The reception was warm and inviting, the server was knowledgeable and efficient and happy to be working there, the chef was fun to watch, and the food ranged from very good to excellent. It's a small place... More

We've eaten at some of the best restaurants the world has to offer. Can honestly say that our dinner tonite at the Galisteo Bistro was one of the best. We had the tournedos of beef, pure heaven, and the red fish étouffée. WOW! Honestly better than a steak I recently had at Geronimo's. We had the 'mud puddle' for dessert... More

This is worth the stop off the plaza. They are very responsive to your wishes for seating arrangements. We weren't picky but one couple wanted to sit next to each other and not across the table from one another and the manager (owner?) made it happen. The food was just wonderful! We had the red fish and gnocchi. The dessert... More
