Delicious Eats in The City Different

Had the veal which was most succulent and full of flavor. Service was warm and kind. This is a place with a nice ambiance.

For the third year in a row in Santa Fe, we had a great meal at Galisteo Bistro. Great service and very good food.

We have traveled extensively world wide, and never had the level of rudeness experienced this evening at Galisteo Bistro. Just arriving in Santa Fe, we selected this restaurant from reviews and hotel recommendation. We did arrive on a Thursday evening without reservation. However, the restaurant was half empty. The couple who came in behind us were acquaintances, also without reservation.... More

Veal Saltimbocca was almost inedible. Too much sage overpowered the flavor and the sauce described on the menu did not seem to exist. Ordered a beer and was told their beer delivery didn't happen and they had none! Really? None at all? Waitstaff need some polishing. One individual addressed me as "Bud" on two occasions and female server addressed my... More

We chose this restaurant based on reviews and the fact we had a coupon from Restaurant.com. Very pleased with the service, the food, and the ultimate price of our dinner. It was a bit loud inside, but nothing that was too distracting. Portions are pretty large.

How do some restaurants get away with it? That was how we felt after our mediocre dinner at Galisteo. The menu was much pricier than we had remembered but when we mentioned that to the waiter he assured us that they had recently lowered their prices. That surprised us because the prices were on a par with the best in... More

On a recent return visit to Santa Fe, we revisited several restaurants that had made a good impression previously. The Galisteo Bistro was even better than we remembered. The food was interesting and well prepared. The service was attentive but not intrusive. The wine list offers many choices including some that won't break the bank.

After reading several reviews I see that this place is suffering from inconsistency....some rate it excellent...I and our dinner companions rate it poor...for the SAME reasons others also rate it poor. Items on the menu not available. Had reservations for a 51st anniversary dinner and no mention of it by the staff....took 45 minutes to get our appetizers because they... More

Terrible service, mediocre food and a staff that does not care about their customers. I have never had a bad meal or experience in Santa Fe until I went to Galisteo Biatro. What a disappointment and a waste f money.

We stopped in on a rare, rainy evening after an art walk. Long, narrow, partly dim room contrasts with a bright grill/kitchen where the chefs do their magic. It felt far-away, nicely romantic. The menu was pricey, but our server Natriz gave us suggestions for satisfying small dishes and quality wine. We'll go for dinner-- folks around us seemed very... More
