WOW! Glad they're back!

The former owners of Galisteo Bistro are back and now their restaurant is once-again a really great place to eat in Santa Fe. They have a great wine selection and the atmosphere is perfect for a lovely evening of dining. The waitstaff is very knowledgable about the entrees and wine. The owners are actively involved in the preparation of the food and attentive to service. Galisteo Bistro NEVER disappoints us.

Attention to detail, a warm, welcoming ambience, a well chosen wine list and fabulous menu choices. After visiting Galisteo Bistro the second night of our week long visit to Santa Fe, we returned on our last night to share in the pleasure of well prepared food, accompanied by fine wines and served by the owner-host and a skilled wait staff.... This fun bistro is on our "must visit" list for Santa Fe. Very good wines by the glass and perfectly prepared food and top notch servers and all in a warm setting where you can watch everyone working together for you. We both had the cod special which was perfect.

In a city with literally hundreds of restaurants, this is a wonderful bistro with an eclectic menu and wonderful wine list. Took a while for the staff to warm up a bit...they seemed stressed, but we did get a smile by the time we left : )

We enjoyed dining at Galisteo Bistro for a number of years. The owners, Rob and Marge Chickering, were always on hand assisted by a wonderful staff. The food was excellent and complimented by an interesting wine list. Recently the Chickerings returned and the Bistro is just as it was before, friendly and comfortable with the same great food, wine, and... More

Sometimes a restaurant becomes a special gathering place for a family. For our family, Galisteo Bistro became that place. It was my father’s favorite restaurant in Santa Fe from the moment it opened in 2009, his choice for special occasions and the rest of us loved it as well. The original owners, Rob and Marge Chickering, always made us feel... More
