Crowed early on a Saturday morning - good sign. I had Tune-Up Breakfas (Chile relleno with roasted tomato salsa, 2 eggs al gusto, refried beans, and corn tortilla) and wife had a Greek omelet. It was great to have a non-southwest option for her. All of the food was excellent! Nice cinnamon / heat in the relleno; strait tomato sauce... More

Recommended by locals. Boy were we smart to listen to them! Everything about this place was right on! Take our advice - go! Note: this is better than the top tourist spot eateries!

This place was featured on Diners, Drives & Dives and we thought we'd give it a try. We went there for breakfast. The place is small and the seating is limited. The only thing smaller is the parking. With only 3 or 4 spots to park, you end up parking down the street in the neighborhood. We chose to eat... More

Looking for a lively, upbeat and off the beaten path restaurant in Santa Fe? Look no further than Tune Up Cafe. The food is organic, fresh and interestingly delicious. Cozy atmosphere in a neighborhood not far from the trendy Railyard. Great spices intermixed with fresh meats and fish. Beer and wine available.

Small and cozy with delicious food. Not a quiet place and not a lot of room to spread out. Reasonable prices for really great food. Very accomodating waitstaff.

I asked one of the locals if he had one restaurant to recommend, off the beaten path, where would it be? He said the Tune Up Cafe. Went for lunch today and totally enjoyed it!! It was seriously one of the best chicken quesadillas my husband ever had. I had the salmon tacos and from the fresh salmon to the... More

We read about this place in the Lonely Planet guide and after a long day trip to Taos and the area, put it into the GPS on our way home. To our surprise, it turned out to be very conveniently located just off the highway into town from the north. The cafe doesn't look like much from the outside but... More

Our daughter suggested this restaurant and it was a great experience. We all enjoyed our food which was just unique enough to make it interesting, but not trying so hard that it was obnoxious. The service was very good. We sat outside and that was nice too. Very enjoyable on all counts and not overly expensive.

A friend had us meet him for lunch at this cafe and it was very busy. Hardly a table free as they are quite popular so we ended up eating at the bar and the food was pretty good altho not exceptional or memorable. They had a lot of variety on the menu and it is popular with the local... More

It was a beautiful sunny morning in October to have a delicious breakfast out on the deck/sitting area. I had the Huevos Rancheros and loved them.
