Good food but spaced out waitress

I've been to the Tune Up 2 or 3 times in the last month. Food is first rate but today I went in there and the girl who took my order was either a complete idiot or under the influence of something. I can't tell you how many times she asked me my order even when I got to my... read more

This is a neat little spot! The burgers are so good! The real deal! You can search high and low and won't find a better burger! Great ambiance and very friendly staff! It was a Tuesday and the place was busy.

We only had coffee and dessert. The German chocolate cake was good. The Lemon curd cake was a little dry. The service was good. Our order was promptly delivered.

This restaurant has a wonderful menu with some items not found at most places; pricing is what you would expect for the quality and quantity of food. Most menu items seemed to be under $20.00 with most in the $12 to 15 range. Although it's a small place, we were able to join another couple at their table. Because it... More

We ate at this small restaurant several times during our Santa Fe stay and enjoyed every visit. The food is simple and tasty; like home cooking. They serve excellent multigrain bread with their breakfasts. Soups were especially good: lemon-grass coconut milk and roasted red pepper and corn. Enjoyed the pupusas, too. I tried the French toast; it was thickly sliced... More

Most everything has already been said about this fun, cool little funky place. But in summary, you'll want to eat here if you like good food, served at fair prices, in a hip little place that the locals would probably just as soon keep to themselves. Both New Mexican and interestinigly presented American classics are offered -- something for everyone.

This was a repeater for us. A small neighborhood restaurant exemplifying great food and excellent service. It is busy and not very big. Don't plan on sitting by yourselves. There are people all around you. There is a lot of staffing including the owner who stays active in the service department. Had a lamb tacos special with a perfectly spiced... More

i love tune up and eat here many times. I haven't been back there since I asked for a piece of cake, and instead of slicing a piece from the new cake on display, the waiter handed me a piece that was left over from the old cake. With his back to me (we were standing on both sides of... More

What a great place for delicious local food. The atmosphere is very casual but the food is first rate. Nice beer and wine selection, too. Make reservations because it is small. Salud!

I love the feel of Tune Up Cafe - like you're eating at someone's house. The quality of the food is great, and at a good value. Fresh ingredients and an interesting selection of entrees, drinks, and baked goods. You order your food at the counter, and it's brought to your table. There is some community seating, and the tables... More
