Colorful, inviting and good food

Stop at Tune-up for breakfast on one occasion, just by chance. I enjoyed my blueberry pancakes so much so that I returned for dinner on another occasion. Very interesting characters pop up from everywhere to this somewhat hidden gem :)

Great food galore. My son and I accidentally gorged ourselves. He had a Tune Up Burger, which proved to be huge and delicious. I enjoyed the Chicken Enchiladas in Green Sauce. Although we were full, we ordered dessert: Peach & Cherry Cobbler and Tres Leches Cake. The desserts were outstanding.

Great food, fun environment, and wonderful price. A local recommend this place and we found it better than TripAdvisor stated. We took the deserts with us since the other food was so good and filling.

Last time I came for lunch in a group, this time for dinner on my own. Good both times. The sangria was excellent. I ate a bit too much, because I had to try both appetizer (flank steak puposa, outstanding) and the fish taco special (also amazing). The service personnel are whirling dervishes, which they have to be, because the... More

As an introductory sampling of NM food, I wanted to make sure my family got to have green chile stew during this trip. So I knew we had to go to Tune Up Cafe for it. And it didn't let me down. They thought it was great, and I got to enjoy my favorite thing there, salmon tacos.

This off-the beaten-path restaurant is definitely worth a stop! Their dishes were the BEST we had in Santa Fe! I tried the night special that was lamb tacos, and I long to have another! The enchiladas were the best we had in the city; the chicken melted in your mouth! Very nice balanced of the spices. The red chili sauce... More

This slightly off-the-beaten path neighborhood restaurant ROCKS! It's El Salvadorian food (which is really similar to Southern Mexican cuisine, but quite different than Northern Mexican food). Service was friendly and varied in speed, depending on how packed it was. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Nothing fancy, but it looked like many ingredients are organic/locally sourced, and über fresh. There's... More

Really liked the OLD, OLD name better ("Dave's Not Here"), but what are you going to do. Food here is always good. Summer salads are awesome. It's a quirky, locals place, but it's a treasure. There can be a line on Friday and Saturday night. Clean, fun staff. Check it out!

We stayed at a VRBO in Railyard district in Santa Fe. This is an authentic quaint meal stop for locals and we were within 3 blocks of this great place. Small house turned into a cafe .There is also outdoor seating option. Everything we ordered from breakfast lunch and dinner was fresh and we'll prepared

Traveling with my grandchildren and they wanted burgers for dinner. Not wanting to hit a fast food burger joint, we settled on Tune Up Cafe. The burgers were great - even the kids said so!! There's a small patio, but it was raining so we were seated inside. Staff was very friendly and service was OK.
