Most everything has already been said about this fun, cool little funky place. But in summary, you'll want to eat here if you like good food, served at fair prices, in a hip little place that the locals would probably just as soon keep to themselves. Both New Mexican and interestinigly presented American classics are offered -- something for everyone.

This was a repeater for us. A small neighborhood restaurant exemplifying great food and excellent service. It is busy and not very big. Don't plan on sitting by yourselves. There are people all around you. There is a lot of staffing including the owner who stays active in the service department. Had a lamb tacos special with a perfectly spiced... More

i love tune up and eat here many times. I haven't been back there since I asked for a piece of cake, and instead of slicing a piece from the new cake on display, the waiter handed me a piece that was left over from the old cake. With his back to me (we were standing on both sides of... More

What a great place for delicious local food. The atmosphere is very casual but the food is first rate. Nice beer and wine selection, too. Make reservations because it is small. Salud!

I love the feel of Tune Up Cafe - like you're eating at someone's house. The quality of the food is great, and at a good value. Fresh ingredients and an interesting selection of entrees, drinks, and baked goods. You order your food at the counter, and it's brought to your table. There is some community seating, and the tables... More

We found Tune Up Cafe on Trip Advisor and went there for 2 lunches and 1 breakfast over the course of our 5-day trip. The food is delicious, with a S. American twist; healthy and easy to get GF and DF - the people who work there aim to please. It's a small place, so we ate outside on the... More

We were fortunate to secure a table for six near the door on a winter evening - every other spot was already taken. Apart from occasional bursts of cold air as prospective customers arrived, our alcove was a fine spot to enjoy a range of New Mexican and Salvadoran dishes. I had the Salvadoran Combo and my wife enjoyed her... More

This is a funky place with lots of locals who want good food but do not care about formality. Lines out the door!

Tune up is one of our favorites here in Santa Fe. We mostly go here for breakfast though. The quality of the food is very consistent and truly delicious. My boyfriend loves the "tuneup breakfast" (eggs, a chile relleno, refried beans and red or green chile). The "eggs in hell" are amazing, should they be on the specials, go for... More
