I love breakfast and have eaten here a few times. Their breakfasts are outstanding with fresh ingredients and everything cooked perfectly. You will find some unique dishes here with some having a New Mexican or Salvadoran twist to them. You have to order at the counter and the food is then brought to you. This place is very authentic funky... More

This place is more likely to be found in a small Seattle neighborhood than a 400 year old city known for its art galleries and tourist attractions. However, don't pass the Tune Up...well, up! Great service, chill atmosphere (think hippy), polite service that is running the place at warp speed to get your food out quickly (that means nice and... More

Oh my gosh their food is good! It's also gluten-free friendly for those who have to be careful. I would eat here frequently if I was a local. The atmosphere was also interesting but not a place to go for a quiet meal. We ended up in the center of the restaurant by the kitchen door and couldn't hear ourselves... More

A friend told us about Tune-Up and he was right on the money. Small place, friendly service and great food. I had the egg burrito and bananas ala creme. Think it must be a well kept neighborhood secret.

Have eaten here twice this year (July 2014). Lamb burger was under-seasoned and sweet potato fries were horrible. Husband didn't like his dish, but sorry, don't remember what it was. Second time we ate here with daughter, son-in-law, and grandson. Daughter's flat iron steak - ordered medium -- was overlooked and she didn't care for the rest of the dish.... More

This restaurant, off the beaten path and out in the neighborhoods, is very popular, highly recommended, and kind of campy, and we looked forward to eating there. The alfresco dining is delightful. Three of the four of us thoroughly enjoyed our dinners. I ordered the lamb burger, which came with sweet potato fries. I love sweet potato fries, and I... More

Fresh , tasty , cooked on demand with non canned ingredients. organic , farm products often available... in a relaxed / laid back /local crowd love those guys best bet in town for "don`t wanna spend two hours and compromise my mortgage but still want to be healthy " type of cooking .

We stopped in for some food eats: the breakfast burrito with both red and green chile sauce, the coconut waffle, and some meal with eggs over a corn tortilla. We topped it off with tres leches cake. Our only disappointment was that the waffle was a bit overcooked. We would consider coming back

I had breakfast with a friend here yesterday. They misunderstood my order, but fixed it right away. I had a delicious omelette with goat cheese and stuffed full of freshly cooked veggies. The coffee was a little weak for my taste. We lived the patio and the local vibe. We'll definitely return!

I sometimes wish I were in walking distance of Tune Up Cafe because it is such a perfectly place for lunch or dinner. Have not tried breakfast there yet. On each visit I'll find either a seafood or veggie special that their crew has prepared to a perfect level of taste and appearance. The only draw-back, and it comes from... More
