The Shed is an old established local restaurant on E. Palace Avenue in downtown New Mexico featuring New Mexico style Cuisine. It is located inside a Courtyard and is a place not to miss if visiting Santa Fe. It has that old style Santa Fe charm of having been there for years which it has actually. Food is always delightful... More

This is a place we visit on most trips, our favorites being the green chile stew and the lemon souffle. We had to wait for a table which is normal, even though we were there around 1:30. It's always busy. Our waiter was a little impersonal and hurried, but service was adequate as there are others who check on you... More

This is the place to get part of your NM green chile fix, and the servers are so pleasant and efficient.

On a girls' weekend in Santa Fe we decided to eat here due to the reviews. Margarita was SUPERB, service terrible. The server did not write down our order, which is often a sign of a good server, but then she screwed up all three of our orders. The entrees were not remarkable whatsoever.

Great meal, everything was well done. Tasty, fresh and more food than you can eat. Service was attentive. Suggestion: they take reservations! You'll need them if you don't want to wait an hour!!

If you are unfamiliar with SW foods; this is a great place to try the classics - enchiladas, beans cooked to perfection, our local classic red and green chile; margarita's, perfect iced tea, and great people watching! This very old "Shed" of the cowboy years still exists serving and seating a large crowd in 5 small rooms today. Locals know... More

I was determined to eat at The Shed after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. Very, very busy...best to get reservations, but don't be deterred when they tell you they are "booked" as walk ins....as we did.... are also welcome. We were lucky to be seated within 5 minutes...and it was clearly luck as there were many large parties waiting. I... More

Great margaritas and atmosphere. Food was good, like those blue corn enchiladas. The waitress suggested that we ask for both red and green sauce as we couldn't decide on just one. Great willingness to customize the selections so that we got what we wanted.

This is one of the locals favorite and that's coming from a local. Great handmade food, it def has the best red chili in town. Get there early as it's always busy. Love the chicken enchiladas Christmas style (red and green chili).. The margaritas are handmade and the best in town. It's in a very old building maybe from the... More
