Been to The Shed every few years but this time was a complete letdown. Chips appeared to be store bought, out of a bag, waitress completely burned out and entrees were completely mediocre. Lots of great restaurants in Santa Fe but it seems like The Shed is no longer one of them.

If you're a fan of New Mexican food The Shed is legendary. I've had their chili and heartily recommend it.

Just up the street from the plaza, the indoor/outdoor New Mexican restaurant is the place to go for lunch. Lots of green or red chile dishes, good service and nice ambiance. You'll find a lot of locals holding business lunches here. Haven't tried the evening fare but can't see how they would goof that up. Reasonable prices.

The Shed was recommended by our concierge. We stopped in for lunch. There was a waiting list so they handed us a paging device. Plenty of window shopping nearby while you wait! We sat inside near the entrance - the patio seating inside the plaza area looked like a fun place to sit too. Many local shop owners and residents... More

At least we did not have to wait long, got there at 5 and was only 15 min wait without reservations. The enchilada was cooked so long/ or at such high heat that the tortilla was stuck to the plate and when I finally got it loose hard and crunchy. The tacos were better but not above average. The lemon... More

I'm a big fan of Mexican food and a big fan of the Santa Fe/New Mexico twist on Mexican. The Shed was just a bit too cocky and plain for me. The dining room and bar is kind of cool in a somewhat eclectic and original way. The bartender was perfunctory but recommended a Silver Margarita that was my second... More

Love the food always have The service today was awful I was dining alone and was treated by my server as if I was an inconvenience. A diner next to me was alone and was treated wonderfully by a different staff member, the staff informed the diner that the plate had just come from a 400 degree oven so the... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by the owners of the motel where we were staying, and we decided to try it for lunch that day. It is located in a sort of "strip mall" from two centuries ago....a row of adobe structures joined together, with a covered walkway in front. There was quite a crowd waiting for lunch; it... More

Every time we visit Santa Fe, the Shed is a MUST visit destination. The margaritas are fantastic. The atmosphere is true Santa Fe within walking distance from the Cathedral. It is a fantastic place to people watch. This time we started with chips and salsa. My husband had the blue corn enchiladas (Christmas) and taco. All had fabulous New Mexican... More
