People who love food love Santa Fe dining. Here, food is an art form designed to stimulate all the senses through flavor, aroma, texture and presentation. The Inn and Spa at Loretto celebrates the art of food in New Mexican tradition by presenting Santa Fe's only "Conscious Cuisine" dining experience. Our culinary team uses the very freshest local and organic ingredients, because we strongly support our community, purchase fruits, vegetables, and spices from local farmers and prime grades of meat from regional ranchers. Specializing in "Conscious Cuisine," Luminaria's menu focuses on a truly sustainable approach to cuisine.

A Surprise

This restaurant has a very pleasant setting and attentive staff. However, we went there for breakfast on April 19th and while my wife had an excellent omelet, I made the mistake of ordering the huevos rancheros. This is a kitchen that is clearly not comfortable with New Mexican food. Quite expensive as well. Maybe the management can send their kitchen... More

My wife and I had dinner here last night. When we arrived for our 8p reservation there were only 2 other tables occupied and by the time we ordered we were alone. That in and of itself would have been OK but...from the time we ordered until we left it was clear that the employees were ready for us to... More

As locals, we normally don't frequent hotel restaurants; however, we made an exception to sample the new menu and were pleasantly surprised. The new desserts are delicious and beautiful. I don't want to eat then because they are so gorgeous. Great staff, Charles, and Ruta took wonderful care of me and the entire staff is friendly.

My friend treated me to the Easter brunch in the Luminaria restaurant of the Loretto Inn. They must have been off their game because in the past I have had much better meals there. We had to wait 50 minutes from ordering until the entrees hit the table. In our hunger we asked for the pastry basket which looked beautiful... More

I should point out that this review is based upon our experience at the Easter buffet brunch, which may not show the restaurant in its best light. The dining room is elegant, with good acoustics for conversation. We found the food to be average at best -- the roast was dry. That said, on this day the restaurant was preparing... More

My husband and I shared a grilled cheese pulled pork sandwich which was delicious. Generous size and lots of sweet potato fries. Fries were crispy and tasty. The bread served before was delicious. Someone came to our table and asked how our meal was and if we are enjoying Santa Fe. Impressive.

In the past, this restaurant was wonderful. However, this trip it proved to be very disappointing. There were 4 in the party and each course was either terrible or just passable. For the money, the food and service should be top-notch, and it was way below that. We will not be going back.

We were there for a birthday dinner and our server went above and beyond expectations. She was professional and friendly. We all (4) thought we had one of the best meals and experiences ever!!
