I had lunch at Luminaria a few weeks ago and was very disappointed. I ordered the Tortilla soup which was very good and then the Reuben Sandwich. The meat lllooked like days old leftover and had been refry and was very very greasy. The bread was also way to greasy. All in all not very good. I gave it 3... More

This is our first place to go for guest lunches,Sunday brunches or a special dinner. Food is consistently excellent, menus choices offer NM Cuisine with a touch of sophistication; not the usual take on Northern New Mexican. Other offerings include vegetarian dishes, luncheon staples like fresh Tuna Salad Nicoise, delicious soups and bisques, seasonal entrees and always outstanding desserts. You... More

Luminaria is a beautiful restaurant but they did not live up to our expectations at all. A bread basket contained some type of biscotti that was crisp but good. The little muffins were fairly untasty and can only be described as "dusty" in texture. The appetizer we ordered called Fruits of the Forest was described as wild mushrooms, baby beets,... More

We have eaten several breakfasts and Thanksgiving dinner here. The food is very good and has a very nice ambiance. The wait staff is very nice but could be a bit more responsive. The staff though is very professional and friendly.

Had the Pork Belly to start and before I could even take a bite I had to take some time to sit back and enjoy the beautiful presentation.. The Kale Salad with Braised Oranges was to die for and our entrees of Chilean Seabass and Local Lamb were both stunning in their presentations and tasted amazing, can't wait to go... More

We went to Luminaria for an early dinner on a snowy night and were warmly welcomed by the two waitstaff who would take care of us all evening. The service and warmth continued as we were seated next to a just-warm-enough fire place. Nice ambiance! We ordered cocktails, and were brought a basket of delicious breads, the best of, a... More

Luminaria never disappoints in the quality of food. The buffalo short ribs were delicious, and my favorite is always the pumpkin/pepita crisps. Service is well intentioned, sometimes had to ask two or three times for wine or whatever.

I took my husband here for his birthday celebration during a weekend in Santa Fe. I made our reservations online and wrote that we were celebrating my husband's birthday. We were warmly welcomed and allowed to select our table (a cozy booth with pillows). Soon after the hostess returned and spread rose petals on the table, wishing my husband a... More

Phenomenal food, expertly prepared, beautifully presented. Expensive but absolutely worth it. All the portions were very generous. I had the pork belly appetizer. Four perfected seared, flavorful pieces of Berkshire pork. My wife had the green chile salmon tartare. Again, flavors that complemented each other. For the main I had the sous vide Kurubuta pork chop. It had to be... More
