Wonderful Breakfast

My wife and I had Breakfast. Special omelet of the day was excellent. My wife had a crape. We have been to Paris the last two years and this is a slice of Paris in the southwest. Everyone is very pleasant and the service is excellent. They bake on premises. We took a baguette for later and it was... read more

Stopped in to buy some French bread and fell to the temptations of some of the desserts. Both were excellent and were nearly sold out when I chanced in at 3pm (so go early if you want a full selection to contemplate). Nearly all the tables were full of talkative customers with nearly empty plates. Service was fast and friendly.... More

While walking historic downtown we happened upon this French restaurant. I am always skeptical about their claims about French cooking but this place is the real deal. The soup and pastries were like I had in Lyon France. Now if they could only import or make the same stinky cheeses.

When we went for brkfst on a Friday morning, we had to wait in line for a table ! The good was good, the space slightly cramped, and the bakery items looked great- all we sampled were the baguettes & egg dishes. Jam is an extra charge & all the waiters we encountered greeted their customers with "bonjour" in a... More

The bakery really deserves 5 stars. Terrific breads, desserts, quiches -- all authentically French, as the family that owns it is French. This is a go-to place to buy wonderful things if you are having a brunch and don't feel like cooking. Breakfasts here are great. The biggest drawback to this place is the parking lot which is practically non-existant,... More

The salads are to die for and they have pastries to take home that are fabulous. It is nice to have a touch of France in Santa Fe. On a hot day the ciders are wonderful.

This wonderful little spot has been my favorite for early morning breakfast for years. They serve the best brewed coffe in town, and do excellent croissants and other baked goodies. Parking is a pain, but well worth the hassle. Lucious!

Here's the big tip: Go very early or go very late, like about 1:45 before closing time at 3 p.m. Everything is topnotch and were it not for the noise issue, I would have given it five stars. Odd for a French restaurant, but they have a cubano sandwich that is tasty, almost true to the genre and enough to... More

Was advised by friends to go early so arrived a few minutes after opening at 7 am Within a few minutes the place was full. On Saturdays they serve fresh bignets and green eggs Benedict ( not open on Sunday's) prosciutto and Pesto on a crossiant with hollandaise. We shared a raspberry claufutis and beignets along with Benedict and Provençal... More
