A rare place in American that makes real, honest-to-God, french croissants. The other pastries are fabulous, too. The bread tastes just like the real thing in France. Go early on Saturday or you will be waiting to sit, because this place draws a huge crowd.

I went to this café as soon as it opened one morning, at 7am, to see what all the fuss was about! I had read rave reviews online and in guide books, so was curious.... I have to say, they serve the best croissant I have tasted outside France! They serve French jams etc to accompany them. All of the... More

This is a little gem. The bakeries are great (I have been back about 4-5 times and sampled a variety of them) and the ambience is very good. Beats the more centrally located bakeries/creperies hands down. It is definitely well worth the drive.

Beware withdrawals on Sunday when they are closed! The French pastry shop of your dreams. The glass case is unbelievable. Quiche, Beignets, fresh squeezed OJ were all my body could hold or I would have slowly tried it all in one sitting! Beignets are .60 cents each & of normal size. Waiting is expected. Tho it moves quickly. The workers... More

I have eaten here over a dozen times and most of the meals have been above average with my favorites being the various lunch specials. By far, though, my favorite lunch here is the one entitled; "The Sea" . The Shrimp are delectable. Cooked just right so they are still juicy and tender. The smoked salmon is excellent. I love... If you are in Santa Fe and want a really special breakfast, go here. The food is authentically French and if you like French pastries and coffee you will find a home away from home here. When we are in Santa Fe, this is our preferred place for breakfast. No place else compares for what we like to eat in... More

Great little French pastry shop and restaurant. The only down side is very difficult to park. We went for breakfast the first time, but returned just to buy pastries.

OMG this place is incredible! We had late breakfast/lunch and were totally impressed with the quality, the service, the atmosphere, and the prices. Everyone's food around looked so great and we all liked our dishes. We had Quiche Maison, French fries, and Croque Monsieur. We also couldn't help ourselves from trying several fabulous-looking pastries. The croissant, Madeleine cookies, and the... More

I got there between rush times and got to enjoy the most delicious chocolate croissant I've ever tasted. Every staff member was warm and friendly. I sat and enjoyed watching all the lovely dishes coming out of the kitchen. Another place that you have to have patience in getting a seat, but worth the trip and your tummy will thank... More

When you're in Santa Fe...and you're seeking an excellent breakfast or lunch spot...pull in or walk over to Clafoutis. My wife and I first discovered this small bakery/eatery three years ago on a walk from our casita not two blocks away. Thankfully we arrived on foot since the limited parking can create a nightmare. That inconvenience aside for those driving... More
