Big portions

It's roomy and has a great feel. Great local beers. The local pictures are fun to look at and it has a great story about Haley. Lots of food choices. A pinch pricey for this type of food. The pizza was huge and tasty. As well as the mac n cheese. The clam chowder came out cold. The staff is... read more

After reading reviews of this place we decided to visit on Saturday night. I had to go out and make sure we were at the correct place. The bar was so loud with people cursing, and lack of patrons. Service was poor and food was so so. We had better burgers at Vic's. Vic talks nice to you. Stay far... More

Thought we had entered another restaurant, decided to stay when we saw the menu. Four diners, four different meals, four satisfied customers. We had meals varying from clam chowder and bread to salmon tacos and their deluxe burger. We were very satisfied and I appreciate their accommodation of my gluten-free requirements.

Stopped in for lunch after a trip up from Seattle and whale watching on the Victoria Clipper III. Service was friendly and quick and food was very good. Had the pulled pork sandwich and my daughter got a side a fries, for just over $15. For an island restaurant, it was excellent and the fries were fresh and plenty. Atmosphere... More

I had the privilage of knowing Haley. We visit this place on every trip to the island. The food is delicous. The mac and cheese is to die for. The greek pizza is a must to order. Priced reasonably. The bar is seperate from the restaurant, which makes for a nice atmosphere. We enjoy looking at all the old pictures... More

Not the greatest place in the world. We were told this is where the locals eat so we decided to give it a try. Not overly impressed with the food quality. Portion sizes were quite large and prices were OK. If you are looking for seafood, keep looking. The chowder was lukewarm and the fish and chips were a bit... More

There are many fishing pictures on the walls to create the sports bar theme. It appears to be possibly pictures of local fishermen, which might be of more interest if I knew anyone, as I suppose some of the locals may. for sports viewing, they have 4 TVs on one wall of the bar area, with 2 more above the... A local bar that had a great menu that wasn't just fish and chips (although they did have very good fish and chips - and their homemade tartar sauce was excellent!). Good prices for the amount you get and nice relaxing atmosphere. A good sports bar, too, to check out the games and chat with some locals.

One of the many restaurants on Spring street. We went there for an early dinner and it was reasonable and good. I had a grilled mozzarella and tomato basil sandwich and wild mushroom soup. It was wonderful. Another in our party had mac and cheese and couldn't rave enough about the great flavor. We'll eat there again next time we... More
