Would return for burger, awkward service though

I was coming back from a job on the island with a co worker & we were starving. We had about 30 min. before the ferry was going to start loading, so we parked in the ferry line & walked up here. We both ordered burgers & fries. It wasn't during a meal time so the place was empty. The... read more

This is in a good location, right next to the ferry terminal. It seems to be a place for the locals. Which made it rather loud with chatter and banter between the waitresses and patrons. The dining room looked like a 60's era decor with the red vinyl seats etc. We had a very nice view of the water while... More

We went here on the advice of the Orca Inn Manager. We got there & they wanted us to sit inside, because they said that they weren't serving outside anymore. My husband has a hard time walking, I explained that to the server, she said that there was an area that didn't have stairs. My husband told her that he... More

Right up the hill from the ferry boarding lanes, this is a great place for a quick bite before it leaves. Tell them you are on a sailing if you need to eat quickly and they'll do their best to accommodate your schedule. Good food, great staff, and quick service! Not a lot of room, so may be crowded during... More

First time on the island I was hoping for some seafood. The restaurant advertised best fish and chips on their outside signage so I though why not...simple enough. First impression from the young ladies who were the servers...why was I there? Lunch I thought. One of the servers was especially annoyed that we would want to look out the window... More

When you eat at a seafood place in a beach town, you expect high quality food. Even if it's a casual/diner environment. The sign read "World's best clam chowder" but the chowder lacked flavor and had very few clams. My boyfriend got a $16 seafood platter, it was mostly fries and the seafood was boring at best.

This is our haunt for breakfast while waiting for the ferries. The staff is friendly and gives good service. They don't skimp on portions so we always split an entre'

This food is all fried... We try to go there... Their hours are erratic and aggravating. The sign will say open and then as your waiting to be seated they come out and tell you to leave because they are Closed. Not real friendly... Their old waitresses were awesome... I am not sure but I think there was a change... More

I guess if you are on a harbor, you'd better serve great seafood. This place looks like a diner, and a hard-used diner, at that. But don't be put off by the worn appearance. The food is excellent! Oysters and chips were not over-cooked, over-breaded, and jarred. They still tasted of the sea. The fish was fresh and moist. And... More

The breakfast menu is excellent. The view of the harbor and the ferry system is great. The waitstaff are very friendly and sweet. I like that they grind their own beef, so if you have a hamburger, you know you are actually getting hamburger. I had an avocado mushroom burger that was out of this world. For breakfast I had...
