Out in the middle of nowhere stands this funky, beautiful restaurant with delicious food and warm ambiance. We had the Brussels Sprouts appetizer which was outstanding. The salmon and duck were amazing. All in all a memorable experience .

We saved the Duck Soup Inn as our special treat and were not disappointed. Salads, soup and entrees were freshly made with the freshest ingredients. Recommend reservations. Also recommend bringing someone 'special' here.

This small restaurant was really delightful. It's away from the crowds in the middle of a very secluded area. Lots of locals...the restaurant is owned by a young couple and it's only open seasonally. The menu is not very big but really tasty and delicious, I had a carrot soup, an interesting salad and the salmon.....I liked the simplicity of... More

We have visited SJ Island every year for 15 years and this restaurant is invariably part of our routine. It has consistently been excellent every year, with eclectic, creative and tasty entrees from the kitchen and warm, attentive, well-paced (not too fast - not too slow) service. With a pleasing & warm ambiance, while not the most conveniently located, it... More

We enjoyed the food, wine and atmosphere. The staff was friendly and the service very good. What I enjoyed most was the pace of service, we were not rushed at all and given plenty of time between courses, I hate being rushed, I like to take my time and enjoy my food and company.. Great dining experience if you are... More

Our meal was very good; We started with the brussels sprouts appetizer which was one of the best things I've ever tasted! Crispy and served with a lemon aioli sauce. I had the chicken breast with parsnip waffle which was delicious! My husband had the salmon but it was undercooked and cold in the middle. The staff was very nice... More

The duck is the very best we have ever had! I never expected to have something made with dandelions but when we were offered dandelion ice cream how could we turn that down! It was outstanding! The food is great and the location is fun... I will eat here again.

The atmosphere was wonderful with a burning fireplace, gracious wait staff, and great tasting food. The wine list is quite extensive as well. Will definitely return.

Off Roche Harbor Road opposite the "Lakedale Resort", this hideaway is very romantic! The food is fantastic and locally sourced. Have always had a great meal here!

Out in the middle of nowhere, by island standards, is this gem of a restaurant. Don't forget to make reservations. The food is delightful, and the staff just right! It's a local place that welcomes all.
