We had heard and read so many nice things about this restaurant we were eager to try it. We waited 20 minutes for our reserved table although the restaurant was only about three quarters full, not a good beginning. The waitress recommended the deep friend brussels sprouts appetizer, which was burned; sadly, we could not tell her, as she dropped... More

A bit hard to rate, definitely good foot, but 3 star when considering price. We had the fried brussels sprouts, the snap peas and carrots, and the roasted duck breast. The vegetables were very good, but a bit overpriced for what you got. The duck was served extremely rare, which the server did not mention in advance, and was not... More

Duck Soup is a treasure, Very quant ambiance with remarkable food! the food was creative and delicious. They offer a wide variety of food with a nice selection of drinks and wine. The service is top notch, very helpful, patient and yet not pushy! You have the option to eat in doors, outdoors on the deck or outdoors in the... More

Island life comes together in a great spot with the owner greeting you at the door, server explaining the menu very well and the chef experimenting with unique flavors and ingredients. We had the duck and salmon dishes, salmon was cooked well and the flavor was what you would expect from the NW but the duck...Magnifique! It was served over... More

This is a small restaurant and they seemed overwhelmed by our group of 15 (with reservations). The food was pretty decent, but did not match the high prices. Salmon was pretty good, but not as good as I make at home.

We were looking for the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary and found it here. We knew there were less expensive restaurants available but had heard such great things about Duck Soup Inn we gave it a try and were glad we did. It is outside of Friday Harbor so plan ahead. The ambiance was very nice, and we started... More

We ate at the Duck Soup Inn a few nights ago and the meal was one of the best we have ever had. We had Turkish green figs as a starter, Alaskan wild salmon and filet mignon for entree and a divine chocolate pot du creme for dessert. The staff know the menu and preparations, the wine list is comprehensive.... More

Great venue. Marginal food. Not sure what else to say. Essentially no flavor, but beautiful evening and beautiful location. But would not go there again. Definitely not worth the price!

Outstanding and original cuisine with great service in a charming cabin in the woods. I had fresh halibut which was beautifully prepared and artfully presented. Not too expensive when considering the quality and comparing it with other fine dining establishments. I will definitely return.

Nice restaurant with a very nice ambiance but it is not an inexpensive place to go. The most inexpensive thing on the menu was soup, salad and bread for $18.00. The steak Diane was $38.00. We had a dessert for $9.00. The food was well prepared but expect to pay plenty for appetizer, wine and a meal. Most entrees were... More
