Three of us stopped for breakfast here before a day long kayaking tour. What an unexpected treat. We picked the cafe because there was a line out the door. We only had to wait 10 minutes and were then treated to a satisfying breakfast. Definitely worth the wait!

The wait was long for breakfast but worth the wait. I had the oatmeal, which was huge and delicious. My husband ordered pancakes, which were light and fluffy. We were very happy with our breakfast and would recommend this place for a traditional breakfast while on the island.

Walking around Friday Harbor in the morning, we followed our noses (bacon!) until we saw the line in front of the Rocky, and knew this must be THE place to eat. We got in line. Nothing foofoo or gourmet, just hardcore platefuls of the a.m. suspects, perfectly prepared and generously portioned, including TERRIFIC real hash browns which sadly isn't very... More

Excellent food, good service, coparatively reasonable for Friday Harbor. The staff was friendly and very accomodating.

Stopped by for breakfast on July 4th before the parade. As far as breakfasts go, it was fine. It's pretty standard fare, with nothing bad nor anything special about it. All the raving about how superb it is seem to be overblowing the quality. It's not THAT good. One final word on the coffee: I would rate it a bit... More

From the friendly and quick service to the excellent coffee to the fresh quality of the food, the perfect spot for breakfast or brunch. Generous portions, a wide menu, and cute decor on the main drag close to the Harbor. This place is hopping and you can see why. Sometimes a bit of a wait but it was never long.... More

We stumbled in here without thinking about it much and were really pleased! It was the best of the four meals we had in Friday Harbor. My husband loved the halibut tacos and I loved the halibut wrap. I think they used the same fish for both, but it worked.

I had seen great reviews for this cafe and knew it was a BUSY and popular place, so we waited until noon to go have breakfast. The food was amazing and fresh, everything was delicious. The coffee (which is how I judge restaurants because I LOVE my coffee) was AMAZING and made with a local roasting companies coffee. The service... More

We stopped here to grab lunch-we didn't want a lot of food so we split the halibut wrap and an order of sweet potato fries. It was the perfect amount of food, well prepared, and served with a smile. All the menu options looked good-I would have liked to try their breakfasts, but didn't need to since our B &... More

We had a good breakfast on a rainy Sunday morning. The service was okay, but they were very busy and the waitresses seemed stressed-out (understandable). There was not a good place to wait inside for a table. We had to ask for quite a few things like more coffee, some cream, etc. but the omelets were tasty and portions large.... More
