The view of Friday Harbor on the outside deck is fantastic, but don't miss ordering some of their delicious seafood. The mussels and the crab cakes were the best that we have ever had. Their onion rings and steamed clams were wonderful too! more

This past weekend I took my mother (visiting from out of town) and my two kids to San Juan Island for a day trip, our first stop off the ferry was at Downriggers for some breakfast. We sat on the deck and loved the view. The salmon cobb salad I ordered had too little lettuce. Very generous with blackened salmon, but limp lettuce and less than generous. Husband's fish tacos a better choice. more

The food was pre-prepared and thrown together. I wouldn't go again with so many great restaurants near by. more

We absolutely loved Downriggers. We loved it so much that we ate there both nights were in Friday Harbor. We had a very nice lunch at Downriggers, overlooking the harbor. It's superbly situated and the service is good and friendly. I had crabcakes - excellent and my significant other had the creamiest chowder imaginable. Very nice indeed! more

My wife and I had breakfast there after arriving to the island. I had dungeness crab eggs benedict which were excellent. The service was superb and the view of the harbor was nice. There were families with kids there that were being well-attended to. Locals give this place a thumbs up as well. Good prices and laid back atmosphere. more
