Must say I was not impressed at all with Vinny's. No more view of the ocean, and I think the new owners still advertise this. But lets be real , there is NO view! The food was just PERFECT!! We started out with dessert as usual. My husband and I love a resturant that serve a great dinner bread. The dinner bread was awesome! The dinner selection was delicious. Everything we had at the resturant was GOOD! We love it and will definately have dinner here again the next time we're in Friday Harbor.... more

We stayed in Friday Harbor for one night after spending the day biking the island. The menu choices were perfect. The staff was friendly, attentive (as needed) and the ambiance was nice. Although not a view restaurant, enough natural light gets through and when it's dark, you can't see out anyway. Very relaxing and hit the spot for us. more

The breaded veal was fantastic and you must try the bananas foster. more

My partners had steak and were content. I had unrecognizable veal marsala that was the colour of ink. Owner/server was better suited to administration. Place was packed so maybe I was just unlucky. more

We planned a family gathering in Friday Harbor. Our daughter and son-in-law drove up from Seattle, and we all took the ferry from Anacortes, an hour's ride. Fairly new and already wildly popular. This restaurant also has a nice view of Friday Harbor. Vinny's has wonderful food. We had the pasta from hell and prawns from heaven, a calamari appetizer and the most wonderful chippino ever created. Each item in the chippino was cooked to perfection and the seasoning was nothing short of miraculous. The same for the pasta from hell. It was spicy without being overwhelming and featured a lovely creamy sauce.... more
