We dined here for lunch for the first time on our annual week-long visit to San Juan Island. We all had grilled Paninis and they were excellent, with crispy flavorful grilled panini bread and fresh, flavorful ingredients. I had their special of the day, which was a delicious combination of black forest ham, red pepper, cream cheese, red onion, and... More

We had breakfast at the Bean Cafe during our trip to Friday Harbor. The coffee was great and the variety of pastries were fresh and tasty. I would recommend this for a light breakfast or mid-day snack.

Be cautious if you have a ferry to catch. They were extremely busy and had a long delay on food orders and were being sloppy with too many cooks in the kitchen. We ordered 2 breakfast burritos w/o cheese and a bagel with PB. First attempt, burritos had cheese (I'm severely lactose intolerant, so no go for me) and a... More

A quick stop for a snack to get out of the rain yielded some great coffee and scones. The service was friendly. If they have them out, get a pack of homemade caramels. Wow.

Nice location near the harbor, with all the usual coffee options, plus a good selection of baked goods. Had the oatmeal for breakfast and it was quite satisfying - large portion, covered with berries.

Great tasty lunch with cookie and coffee, under 15 bucks. Awesome chicken ceased wrap. Large and filling with a zesty refreshing crisp filling. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The owner personally checked on us and thanked us for visiting.

Tucked in an alley-way, this clean and friendly cafe has delicious coffee (I'm picky!) and the nicest people. The cookies looked super good too but I had just eaten a brownie. I'd save your sweet-tooth for this place!!!

Grabbed breakfast here while waiting for the ferry. We had breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal with berries and a vanilla shake, tea in a pot and chai tea. Chai came in a big ceramic cup and the oatmeal was delish. Simple and yummy. They also had gluten free bread and the oatmeal was free of allergens. Order and pick up at the... More

Chai was excellent - in an over-sized ceramic tea-cup. This was a wonderful place to have a seat, rad a paper, check email, write a post-card or have a chat. Nice atmosphere.
