Party of four. 2 ordered sparkling wine and duck, one iced tea and tenderloin, one iced tea and salmon. We all practically licked our plates it was so good. We were offered a white bean amuse, that was good. Then....a mini fruit cobbler ordered by two of us and the brownie sundae with the rum fudge sauce! Oh man....delicious! Great... More

After spending 4 days in relaxing Friday Harbor, my husband and I had our last evening supper at Coho and it was exquisite! Only fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation and unbelievable flavors. I had the trout and my husband the salmon. Both dishes were fresh, inviting and delicious. If you have only one special or romantic meal in Friday Harbor, this... More

Thank you for dining at Coho Restaurant. We are pleased you enjoyed your evening. The trout stuffed with dungeness crab is always a popular special. The wild Alaskan salmon is served on a bed of wild rice risotto finished with a roasted tomato coulis. The richness of the salmon is a perfect counterpoint to the nutty rice. We hope to... More

Wow! my husband and I just celebrated our anniversary here. The food is out of this world good and so are the cocktails. However It's a very small eating establishment, which made for a tight fit and 'romantic' experience. Seems like a great place for couples and friends, not so much for children or larger families (large groups, (adults only)... More

Thank you for celebrating your anniversary at Coho Restaurant. We are glad you enjoyed our cocktails that showcase artisan spirits from local distillers. Our gin martini uses gin distilled from heirloom apples along with local botanicals from San Juan Island Distillery. Our lavender margarita cocktail uses culinary lavender from Pelindaba located a few miles from town. It is a sorbet... More

This was one of the best meals we had during our trip, and the early bird special made it a great deal, too. I highly recommend it if it's still available when you visit. Between 5:00 and 5:45 you get soup, salad, entree, dessert, and a bottle of wine - all for 2 - for $70. Since our bodies were... More

We are honored you rated Coho Restaurant number one for your Pacific northwest vacation. When I lived back east, I couldn't get enough halibut and salmon during my visits to the Pacific Northwest, so I know how you feel. Chef Bill does an amazing job with seafood. He presents the halibut with a perfect golden sear and inside the filet... More

This is one of the more upscale restaurants in an old house in town. Their food is pretty good--nothing to write home about but fresh and well done in a nice setting. It's expensive for what you get but is one of the better nicer choices on the island. They serve only dinner.

We are pleased that you chose Coho Restaurant for a dinner out in Friday Harbor. While we have linen table cloths and napkins that is as formal as we get. We are northwest casual and welcome our guests whether they walk in after an afternoon on the water or if they just married and are in their wedding regalia. Chef... More

We found this little gem on our first visit to Friday Harbor. It was absolutely superb. Every single course was delicious. We had made a reservation in advance and were seated right away. I would recommend a reservation as it is a very small initmate restaurant, however, if your sitting there waiting and wondering if you should... YOU SHOULD!! It... More

My husband and I ate here for dinner on our two week vacation to the PacificNorthwest. This was one of our favorite meals. It was a pleasure having you at our table at Coho Restaurant. Our chef's tasting is a great value. Our ice creams are hand made in small batches using milk and cream from a local dairy. The restaurant is tiny, the dining room of an old house, but that makes it all the more cozy. You feel like you are a visitor in the house. The food is great and the wine list varied and interesting. Our waitress was very helpful and gave great service.

It was okay for the price….I want a great dinner when spending over $100….must have reservations as there are only 9 tables. It seemed to be popular with the locals. We did not have dinner at another restaurant, so it is hard to compare to others in Friday Harbor. It did not compare to our dinner in Seattle.
