Our travel itineraries to San Juan Island rarely give us enough time to enjoy all the dining options on the island but we were fortunate that this Valentine's weekend coincided with the President's Day weekend so that we could partake of a great meal at Coho Restaurant. As many restaurants do on Valentine's Day the menu was a prix fixe... More

This restaurant is walking distance from Tucker house where we were staying. We got the early bird special which included four courses and a bottle of wine. The atmosphere was very romantic. The food was outstanding and the service was good. Great value!

Make your reservations early and come hungry! Everything from the bread, appetizer, wine pairings, main course, dessert is packed with flavor. I usually stop at the first sign of feeling full but this place made me gluttonous and unashamed of it! This is a must-eat place for next year's new year's eve.

We have not been to this eatery yet because of limited feedback although that was good. Our favorite restaurant changed owners and the quality diminished so while looking around for a different place to eat on New Years Eve the Coho was mentioned. We decided to try a dinner there before commiting ourselves to a festive year end meal. The... More

My wife and I dined here during our visit to Friday Harbor. It's a small, intimate restaurant with an extensive winelist. I had the Halibut(moist and delicious!) and my wife had the salmon, which she loved, eating every scrap. We tried their Lavender soda, which we had never heard of before. Very refreshing! It was a very nice experience and... More

First let me say that all of the nicer restaurants in Friday Harbor are on the expensive side and Coho is no exception. This is a small (maybe ten tables) place with a nice atmosphere and attentive service. We had pasta appetizers and both were nice, although not spectacular. The trout dish was very nicely prepared and the quinoa cake... More

Arrived to a friendly hostess who promptly seated us. They have an extensive wine selection and we were guided through great pairings with our meal. The octopus bruschetta was a highlight and the trout and steak were prepared to perfection. The orange and ginger sorbet was a great palate cleanser which was followed by the creme brûlée. All food is... More

The first thing I will say,is skip dessert here, it was terrible. Other than that, the service was great, the food was pretty good for the money. We went for a birthday dinner and I had the steak, cooked perfectly but not very seasoned at all, and my partner had the salmon, which he loved. Its very expensive, and very... More

Caprese salad, octopus, Indian scented (cauliflower, lentil, eggplant), are just a few of the distinctive flavors we encountered at Coho. Plus an allfagotto for dessert!
