I've lived in italy. Rome and Florence to be precise. The gelato I've tasted today it's equally excellent to the one I had in Florence, even the presentation of it it remainded me of how to discover if it's fresh and well handled. Da Vinci truly gives all San Antonio the opportunity to discover true GELATO although it may seem... More

If this is the ice cream shop on the riverwalk, it is super yum.

The gelato is great, but a little too sweet. Pass on the milkshakes. They taste like watered down gelato. Not so good.

This shop is beautifully decorated and has nice seating areas inside and out. They seemed to have a good selection of flavors of gelato and had four flavors of sorbetti. I had three of them in one cup and my husband got a gelato and sorbetto combination. They all tasted great, especially the mango sorbetto. The guys behind the counter... More

I didn't ask how much a small would cost but was shocked at $9 for a tiny cup. I ordered Spanish Chocolate and it was more like ice crystals with chocolate crumbs. I was so sad.

My wife and I had the lunch special which includes a Panini sandwich, Coke, and Gelato. The food was good and the gelato was authentic but eh portion was very small.

Yummy! I live not to far from Da Vinci's and haven't been in awhile but when I do treat myself I have not been disappointed.

OK, ice cream is cheaper. But this little cozy place serves some of the best antidotes for a blah day. A treat for any sweet tooth. Many flavors, gelato is as smooth as a cloud on your tongue. Good service, and other stuff for purchase as well.

There's another gelato place about four miles from this one and not only does the gelato seem better here but you can tell a difference in the staff training. The kids here seem friendlier and more attentive. The key lime gelato here is great. We'll be back. This is better for dessert after dinner out than a restaurant dessert.
