This is for the East Grayson Street location. We enjoyed Green Vegetarian Cuisine so much the first time we came back 2 nights later. It is difficult in San Antonio to find vegetarian much less a vegetarian restaurant and even more so one as good as this. The old brick building from 1896 is quaintly renovated and really is "green"... More

after being in san antonio for months for training, it was nice to find a place that offered fresh, vegetarian/vegan cuisine. as a self-proclaimed vegetarian about 80% of the time, living in the land of meat has been tricky. atmosphere: nice shaded outdoor seating area with fans to keep the air flowing and temperatures down. did not go inside. service:... Very vegan friendly. Even the cupcakes are vegan. I have to admit that the cupcakes are a little bland though. I think they could be sweeter. Tons of options from healthy to piggin out. Very friendly staff. The pecan Caesar dressing was delightful.

I had the Mediterranean bowl and my companion had the eggplant parmesan -- both were excellent. It is difficult to find vegetarian in San Antonio, so given the lack of much real competition, food service and quality here were excellent. The menu is relatively "standard" (i.e., not a lot of creativity) but offers a lot of choice and generous portions.... More

I am not vegetarian, but I eat a lot of vegetarian food. Went here for lunch. Had a very nice meal and the food was solidly good. However, I thought the menu lacked the creativity that is possible for a restaurant like this and they don't seem to be fully utilizing the array of flavors and techniques that would make... More

I’m not blown away by the food. The ingredients are not full-flavored. A solid “meh”. I try and talk friends out of meeting there.

Being a vegetarian in Texas isnt easy , and being a fussy vegetarian in Texas who doesnt like vegetables is even worse! So whenever I hear of a vegetarian restaurant visions of raw cabbage and half cooked soggy lettuce come to mind! But this was NOTHING like that! First of all, we went to the restaurant at Pearl Brewery, we... More

I love this place and love the atmosphere. Food is always good. My fiancee and I try to do Sunday brunch pretty much every week at the Alon location. Healthy, yes, but as with most places, scrutinize menu items when it comes to low sodium, gluten- free etc. I wish the Alon manager would know a little more about the... More

Green Vegetarian Cuisine at The Pearl Brewery in San Antonio is a great choice if you're looking for a good vegetarian option in a city that is very meat centric. The atmosphere is casual, and we had the option of sitting outside on their patio or inside. They were very busy on the Sunday morning that we visited, and we... More

This place is a little bit out of the way about 5' drive from the riverwalk area. There is an indoor area and a nicely shaded / fanned patio. Food was very good, tasty and affordable. Service was prompt and attentive. Went on Monday evening and the whole family loved it so we went back on Tuesday.
