My First Vegetarian Restaurant!

This place was great! I went here for dinner with a long-time friend. He's a vegetarian, so I thought I would give it a try! The dinner was excellent...and filling!! I would definitely recommend the fried pickles! You can't go wrong with the Artichoke and Portabella Quesadilla, or the Spinach... read more

I have to say, I'm not a vegetarian but I do like to eat healthy as much as possible. I tried Green a couple of weeks ago for the first time and have been back there a few times since. The service is always friendly, and with a smile. Everything I've had has been really good, not the best vegetarian... More

A good selection of vegetarian food that can easily be made vegan if it isn't already. There's a nice balance of healthy options and vegetarian junk you can't get frequently. We ate here two nights in a row and loved it both times.

This was an excellent vegetarian restaurant. Food was fresh, tasty and filling. I had the Green Berger and my wife had the Chicken Fried Chik-n. Service was friendly and attentive. The waitress sold us on some vegan cupcakes that were amazing. Environment was calm and creative. Lovely Dinner, reasonably priced. We will return when we come through San Antonio again.

I'm not vegetarian, but my son talked me into trying this place. There are several of these Green Restaurants around San Antonio, and this one at "The Pearl" off Broadway is the flagship, with the widest menu variety. Before you do anything else, try the nachos! With the vegan "cheese" made from tapioca-delicious and stand up to nachos in a... More

Couple of coworkers suggest I step out of my comfort zone, so we gave this place a try. Cool atmosphere, groovy service, killer food, and awesome cupcakes! An unexpected treat.

In a city that doesn't have much vegan option this place is a jam. Located in the Pearl it is a great place with nice vibe. Food was very good and service was ok. It took a bit long to get the check and I had 3 different people coming to my table. All in all I will return.

Love the breakfast omelets and classic breakfast. For lunch, the Mediterranean bowl includes a nice mix of house-made favorites like hummus, falafel, dolmades, etc, in a large lavash or pita bowl. Lovely surprising flavors! And reasonably priced.

We had eaten at this location once before and were really looking forward to a repeat visit. Sadly the menu had changed and my husband's favorite (the veggie BBQ) was no longer offered. I selected chalupas and he ordered portobella steak. My food came out quickly and I was actually almost done eating by the time his came out. Very... More

We were looking for a specifically vegan restaurant, after a rotten dinner at a well know Mexican place the night before. We picked Green because of its proximity to downtown, and couldn't have made a better choice if we'd researched for a month. My companion had a power salad, and I went with the felafel bowl. They both came with... More
