Green offers a great variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes that will please both meat-eaters and herbivores! I would classify the menu as being mostly american type dishes with burgers, sandwiches and a few other types of dishes. All of the items on the menu can be made vegan, which is a huge plus for me! Along with that they... More

I yearn for vegetarian meals living in a small fishing town...so was thrilled that Green was in the same center as the bookstore I was visiting for an event. Food was good. A little pricey for add-ons ($2 to add a few sprinkles of veggie taco "meat" to the tostados) but the food was flavorful. Chia rice was excellent and... More

The first time I ate here it was really good. The second time was just kind of good and the third time I would say it was just average at best. I'm not sure what the problem is but the quality has changed and not for the better. I will not be back for a fourth time.

Sometimes it's hard to find great kosher food when you travel, let alone kosher vegetarian food. This place is amazing! We ate there 4 times during our 6 days in San Antonio. There is a wide selection of foods for all meals. The prices are incredibly reasonable. The portions are large. And it's under the kosher supervision of the Vaad... More

This is for the East Grayson Street location. We enjoyed Green Vegetarian Cuisine so much the first time we came back 2 nights later. It is difficult in San Antonio to find vegetarian much less a vegetarian restaurant and even more so one as good as this. The old brick building from 1896 is quaintly renovated and really is "green"... More

after being in san antonio for months for training, it was nice to find a place that offered fresh, vegetarian/vegan cuisine. as a self-proclaimed vegetarian about 80% of the time, living in the land of meat has been tricky. atmosphere: nice shaded outdoor seating area with fans to keep the air flowing and temperatures down. did not go inside. service:... Very vegan friendly. Even the cupcakes are vegan. I have to admit that the cupcakes are a little bland though. I think they could be sweeter. Tons of options from healthy to piggin out. Very friendly staff. The pecan Caesar dressing was delightful.

I had the Mediterranean bowl and my companion had the eggplant parmesan -- both were excellent. It is difficult to find vegetarian in San Antonio, so given the lack of much real competition, food service and quality here were excellent. The menu is relatively "standard" (i.e., not a lot of creativity) but offers a lot of choice and generous portions.... More

I am not vegetarian, but I eat a lot of vegetarian food. Went here for lunch. Had a very nice meal and the food was solidly good. However, I thought the menu lacked the creativity that is possible for a restaurant like this and they don't seem to be fully utilizing the array of flavors and techniques that would make... More

I’m not blown away by the food. The ingredients are not full-flavored. A solid “meh”. I try and talk friends out of meeting there.
