Great atmosphere, and such delicious food. I would definitely go back here - choosing just one dish was tough!

This isn't a horrible restaurant but, nothing special. The beer came a warmer then it should. The table side guacamole was pretty good as it was fresh but, had a bit too much lemon. I ordered some sort of a stuffed relleno. An interesting sounding dish and the stuffing was good but the chili itself was really hard on the... More

We stayed on the River Walk, and once we discovered the Iron Cactus we went back for dinner every evening. Their tacos and fish are amazing, as is the guacamole. The staff is also very friendly.

This was along the river walk and definitely not a place to miss if you like Mexican food. The food choices and quality were great and we had to all share a bit of each other's meals. They had Margarita drink specials that were wonderful and the bartender actually spilled lots of tequila in the glass. Only needed one if... More

The location of this restaurant is awesome. It is nestled into what looks like a cave, but it's actually just the underbelly of the Aztec theater. There are two separate dining areas, but I prefer the Agave room (or bar side). The food is pretty good, but it used to be amazing. A lot of the classic dishes they had... More

Best margarita I had in San Antonio. Enjoyed the food too (steak enchiladas, Mexican donuts), but stick to the TexMex items.

Bad - had to wait 15 minutes for a table even though the restaurant was half empty. After we were seated, we waited 10 minutes and did not see a server, so we asked the hostess if anyone was working our table. They weren't. She had to call someone over from the other side of the room to our table.... More

We shared the queso and chips to start the meal. The service was good and the food was tasty. I had the chicken with queso-it came with asparagus and some type of mashed potatoes. it was excellent; my friend had the chili relleno and he really enjoyed it.
