Great Happy Hour Food

Lunch offered something for everyone. Service was quick and efficient. We went back for happy hour and really enjoyed the offerings - especially the fried pickles!

I would have never came here. I was here on a business trip and was feeling home sick for my English husband. So when I saw an English pub where I was pretty sure I could enjoy a quick cider on a hot day, I made my way over. The girl sat me outside, where I noticed moments later I... More

The Fish and Chips were outstanding, a little pricey but that was to be expected as it"s located on the San Antonio, Tx. River walk.

Had high hopes here, great venue, great menu, but the delivery fails. Mediocre service and poor food, I'm sorry to report. Started with the mussels, so over salted that she couldn't eat them. The same followed with her Cottage Pie and my Bangers & Mash. :(

this venue is right next to the Hyatt's back entrance and right on a canal. It is set up like an English pub, with great atmoshere and fantastic live music.. Our waitress left alot to be desired no personality and a can

I've lived in San Antonio in the past and have been here many times since but this was the first time I've been to Mad Dogs. Great place, great service. The Scottish Eggs were incredible and a must try. Buffalo Wings were great too. Will visit again for sure.

I had the "world-famous" fish and chips and was not disappointed. Reminding me of my fish and chips experience in Ireland, I was served a piping-hot, plate-sized piece of fish, with lightly-seasoned fries and coleslaw. The fish stayed hot throughout the meal, even though I was delayed in starting by my side salad (good and seemed to be hand-made). The... More

Fish and chips were really good. Service was fair but somewhat slow. Not bad overall and worth it imo if looking for fish

Went here with a work group. We had our own booth with tv. The hamburger I got was average and the staff was not super friendly . Not bad food though and it was somewhat fast.

Real British pub experience except the beer is cold. Try the fish and chips for lunch, excellent! Right on the bend in the River walk.
