Excellent Place for Authentic Food

This place was amazing starting before walking in the door. Decoration and service was great. Our server was very helpful on food selections. The food was delicious! It was great sitting out on the patio and watching the crowd.

This is absolutely the worst Mexican food I have ever been served. There was a group of 10 people and we all agreed that this restaurant was BAD. Service was mediocre, drinks were watered, and foo was to bad to be described. Taco Bell serves a better meal.

We arrived at lunchtime on a Saturday. It was busy, just like every other place in the market on a Saturday. We sat at the bar for 10 minutes. We tried to get the bartender's attention several times and were IGNORED. We were never waited on. Others sitting near us had the same issue. We decided that we would not... More

It was edible. It wasn't horrible, but you could go to Taco Bell and probably get a more extensive flavor profile. We stopped here for lunch so I didn't have an adult beverage. Nonetheless, the food was mediocre. If you are interested in flavorful food, choose another place.

I'm always looking for tamales on any Mexican menu and was disappointed when I didn't see them on this menu. So I just asked and surprisingly, they did have them but it just wasn't on the menu. Hands down, that's what I ordered. The service was quick, the food came out hot, and everything on that plate was delicious (3... More

There are hundreds if not thousands of places to eat in San Antonio, but La Margarita has some of the best fajitas that you'll find in San Antonio. The restaurant is always a great place to stop for a Margarita but when you need some serious fajitas, I'd recommend the chicken fajitas since they are my favorite. You can get... More

Beautiful day to enjoy outdoor seating in the Mexican Market Square. The margarita's were the best.....as well as the food The chips and salsa served immediately. After shopping at the many stores - a good way to complete the afternoon.

We ate outside on the patio and it had nice tables and good music. Our margaritas and sopapillas were delicious. Our waiter was great and gave us one extra sopapilla too!

Located right in Market square- you can take a trolley here, or there is easy street parking. The margaritas are good, the soup and ceviche are delicious, the chips and salsa are good.
