Located in the Market Square area of San Antonio, this popular place was festive and had a responsive staff. This bright Saturday found the market full of energy and color. La Margarita has an old menu with pages in sticky plastic. The main beverage page on the menu did not have margaritas. Strange when that was there name. We shared... More

I had two jumbo margaritas and honestly didn't feel a thing...so go regular size and hope for the best. I had the seafood enchiladas and they were very good, nice sized scallops and shrimp perfectly cooked. The wandering mariachi band can be loud but it is what it is. Service was very efficient and prices were average for what you... More

My family and I had a great time here. The food was excellent and the staff too. This is my first time back here in years since I work overseas and it tasted the same as I remember.

A group of us from work stopped to eat and the service was good and the food even better. If you are in San Antonio make sure you check out this gem during your stay. You won't be disappointed.

The atmosphere is nice and the service is excellent. Try the Parrillada Estilo La Margarita, it will satisfy a family and is very good.

I visit San Antonio 3-4 times annual and usually spend time at the Mexican Market. One of its cornerstone restaurants, La Margarita, is always a great experience. They've added a second outdoor dining area, which is slightly more private. The strolling mariachis provide traditional music while you dine on traditional Mexican fare. Portions are ample. I split the burrito plate... More

We always make sure to eat at La Margarita Restaurant whenever we visit San Antonio. The food is good and the ambiance is great. We had a little of a wait but not bad. The Mariachi music was great and gave the restaurant a true Mexican feel.

I recently spent a week in San Antonio. While taking in the River Walk and beautiful downtown area, I recalled dining at a restaurant called "La Margarita" nearly 30 years ago while attending school in San Antonio. I researched and found "La Margarita". I can't be sure it is the same restaurant, but was very pleased to have experienced dining... More

This restaurant is a must. If it's your first time in San Antonio, this would be the first place i recommend. Food is good, fabulous margarita's, and fabulous atmosphere. I take all my friends that come to San Antonio for a visit down here. Listen to some mariachi's while sipping your margarita...
