Keep walking by........

If you are absolutely starving and can't carry on for one more step then stop here. Otherwise there is far better food on the riverwalk. Food is mediocre and service is iffy.... Waiter forgot our salads and silverware. Salads we can live without. silverware not so much. It's really too bad... read more

The atmosphere looked enjoyable. Everything else is comparable to an old Bennigans, or a cheaper version of Applebee's. I won't come back just bc the quality of food.

Scenery was great but, food not so good. No flavor and it took forever to get the food and by the time we got it, it was cold. The positive note is we did have a friendly waiter that kept our drinks filled. I would keep walking past this one.

We ate at this restaurant after a long day of traveling. We were searching for a different place and couldn't find it, so settled on this one. The service was slow, and as another review noted, the vegetables were over cooked. Worked to take the hunger away, but sure are better places out there!

My wife had a pecan salad it was good, but small. I had the WORST pulled pork sandwhich ever. I have had better pulled pork at ballparks and Dairy Queens. Not much meat and hardly any bbq sauce. Bun for some reason was soggy on one side, the bun just kind of fell off. I had to ask for more... More

We wanted to have lunch on the river walk on a sunny day in March and selected this place for hamburger and steak. That was ok but everything else, the overcooked vegetables, the wonder bread "toasted", the sweet potatoes tasting oof and fried with oil that should be changed more often, the peach cobbler swimming in fat with some cream... We had drinks here one evening. It is located on the riverwalk, but upstairs. If you go out the front door it brings you to the street right behind the Alamo. good atmosphere.

We picked this place because we were walking by and were starving. Service was slow, we nearly walked out. Server couldn't answer questions about the menu. The beef brisket sandwich was okay, not remarkable. The catfish was good, but the coleslaw was horrible. We would not return.

I recently had lunch at Lone Star with a colleague. They have a number of lunch specials that are reasonably priced and are located right on the Riverwalk. The food was only average. My pulled pork was OK but clearly wasn't smoked. My colleague ordered a "Boca" burger (I know....why?). It was right out of the box...frozen. I wouldn't go... More

We stopped for dinner on our first night in San Antonio. The food is inexpensive and quality is maybe a bit above average. I had the rib eye which while flavorful wasn't the best cut of meat. My wife had the sirloin and shrimp dinner. The sirloin was actually the better of the two steaks. This is a casual restaurant... More
