Touristy but A Good Choice

Visiting San Antonio & looked for a place with outdoor seating. This was above, not on, the Riverwalk, which was fine with me, because I think the Riverwalk is filthy. We sat outside at a table with a view of the Riverwalk area, so it was fine for people watching. There was a Mariachi band that... read more

I had a lunch there and the food was exactly was I was expecting... hot, at a reasonable price, close to the river. The restaurant has a fast service and even considering its size some times there is a waiting time that is not so small.

My colleague and I decided to eat lunch here before attending a trade show across the street at the Convention Center. We arrived about 11:30AM and were immediately seated and our orders were taken. The food, (2 lunch specials), took 45 minutes to arrive. In fact, people who arrived and ordered after us were finished eating before we received our... More

Decent food. We were seated right away, order was taken promptly, and we received our drinks. After that we didn't see our waitress much. We got our first drinks and finished them to wait 15 mins with no checking on us. She only came back to drop off our food with our salads at the same time (forgot my husbands... More

Had lunch here on July 22nd. Food was wonderful and reasonably priced considering how expensive the restaurants are on the riverwalk. They have a nice selection on the lunch menu. Harry is the nice man that drew a cariacuture ( hope I spelled correctly)of our daughter. He was so nice and friendly and is a talented artist. Definitely have him... More

Stopped by this place because it was getting late and we had to eat then hit the road. The steak was great, cooked just right and seasoned pretty good nothing special really, had better and worse.

I was in town for business, found this place in downtown. Evidently Karma was not smiling on me. Looked like you needed to wait to be seated, after about five minutes of standing there I just went a head and sat down. Waitress passed me at Mach 1 and said she would be right with me. The resturant was only... More

The food here is downright awful. I'm from Houston and this is not even close to true barbecue. I had a chicken sandwich and my wife had a pulled pork sandwich and I truly regret ever sitting down to eat here. A waste of 30 bucks. The service was okay but most of the staff were unprofessional, covered in tattoos... More

This restaurant is by the riverwalk, right in downtown. Unfortunately, I thought their food was pretty gross. I ordered chicken a-la-king "casserole" and the waiter came with a mess that looked like a puree of grinded chicken. I was hungry so I started eating whatever that mess was and I came upon some nasty cartilage. I refused to eat the... More

We stopped in here for a margarita and our very slick waiter managed to sell us a 60 oz monster of a drink which was delicious but very expensive at 35 dollars, but it was for sharing and it did last us a while. The alcohol munchies then kicked in and we ordered some really delicious chilli cheese fries and... More
