Good buffet, service a wee slow.

The environment here was much cleaner than the other local Indian food we had visited. The buffet here was smaller, but they nailed the Tandoori Chicken and absolutely loved the Tikka Masala. The service was the only area that was a bit lacking, our drinks sat empty far too long and far too... read more

The food was great but service was slow. We had a large group but we were the only ones there. We ordered from the menu. It took extra long to get the food ready. With kids its hard to wait. Atmosphere is good.

I thought it was odd the waitress didn't write down our orders but figured she was just a good experienced waitress. Turns out she might have forgotten to bring out a few things we ordered. When we got to the register to pay they asked us what we ordered. I repeated my order as best I could. My bill was... More

My partner and I ate here on Valentine's Day for dinner. We decided to order off the menu instead of doing the buffet. I had the Vegetarian Dinner and a mango lassie, and she had the Palace Dinner and tea. Our food had a lot of flavor, more so than other Indian restaurants I've tried and everything was fresh and... After trying a few others in town, this is our favorite Indian Buffet in the area. The food was great and everything was hot, fresh and well stocked. Only negative was how crowded (and loud) the place was, yet they would not allow us to sit in the second section even though another family was seated there. We would have... More

Having eaten Indian food all over the country ( we're originally from Boston which has a large Indian population ( Cambridge especially ,where so many Indian students come to study at MIT and Harvard) ,we like to think we know good Indian food. We recently bought a home in San Antonio after having lived for 3 years in England which... More

I eat curry on occasion and when I do, I usually come to India Palace. It's a ways from me, but worth the trip. Met several girlfriends here this past week for a long afternoon pow-wow and catch up session. Love their Mango Lassies. You have to try it to understand. My favorite on the buffet is these little deep... More

Have been here twice in the last year. My summer visit was better than my winter visit. Buffet was nearly depleted when we arrived. When it was replenished, everything was very good and at the right temp. Service was a little slow, but friendly. Loved the Naan.

For anyone who has never tried Indian food, you don't know what you're missing! Well, you have to like spicy, not hot, flavors, to really fall in live with Indian food as my family has. We have tried just about every Indian restaurant in San Antonio and without a doubt, India Palace has the best food!

I fell in love with this place the first time I ate here. The samosas, the naan, the saag paneer, all of it is so tasty. I'll admit this: there was a time when I would have rated India Palace a perfect 5. It seems like the've made some subtle changes to their recipes (maybe using different ingredients) and the...
