We stopped in here for a late night drink and chips. They environment is very authentic, drinks were amazing and the Mariachi band was fabulous. Though we didn't eat here.... the food looked and smelled delightful.

I had lunch here with six other colleagues. The Mexican food is the best ever. Customer service was the best too. When we left all of us bought sweet bread and candies. This is a must visit when in San Antonio.

Cozily situated at Market Square, this gem of a restaurant delivers excellent food bursting with flavor. The service is fast and friendly and the margaritas were equally impressive. I've been there several times and was impressed each visit. Good prices compared to the River Walk high dollar menus. If you visit during the dinner hour after 7pm, prepare for a... More

The food is good and reasonably priced. They have mariachis who play great music and the décor is very cultural and fun. I go every time I am in San Antonio. From what I hear it's both a place for tourists and locals. Check out the bar!!

This restaurant is open 24-7 and is one of the best places in San Antonio to eat! They also have wonderful margaritas!

If your visiting the Mexican Market in downtown San Antonio and looking for a good place to eat this will be a fun place to visit. The food is good, the bakery is better. One the of the oldest restaurants downtown....worth going to just for the bakery.

We visited an a cold rainy day & found the crowd smaller than expected. I had pork tacos & the wife had a chicken enchilada. We topped lunch off with a couple of margaritas. The chips were tasty with the drinks while waiting, nothing overly spectacular. The margaritas were initially about the same. The food was OUTSTANDING. The pork melted... More

We stopped in to get out of the cold and have a snack. The restaurant is worth visiting if just to see the inside. It is all glitter and gold! There is also a room dedicated to the achievements of individuals from Mexico. Very good service and highly recommended by locals sitting near us. We enjoyed the fried ice cream.

With all of the wonderful TexMex choices in San Antonio, I suppose MiTierra is recommended most often because of the massive bakery displays (this is Panderia fare, friends...know what you are in for...) and the 24 hour meal options, including parking in front. Market Square is a good mile from the downtown Riverwalk horseshoe, and a bit seedy on Commerce... More
