Excellent food overall! Live Marachi music makes visit a wonderful overall experience. The margaritas were a bit weak, but was politely corrected by our waiter. Try the delicious "pan dulce" that is on display at the in-store bakery display. You won't be disappointed. Restaurant tends to be crowded, so be prepared to wait for your table.

We've been to Mi Tierra's many times. My wife insists on going for brunch every birthday. Not only is the food authentic and good, the experience is magical. The lights, murals, mariachis, and busy environment make it unique and soooo San Antonio! You'll likely have a wait, but look around for awhile or stop for a refreshment in the bar.... More

The food is good with a very good selection. Also a wonderful bakery. It's also close to shops and the Market area.

If you are going to visit San Antonio, then you must eat here at least once. I live in SA and we eat here several times a year. The food is great and the atmosphere is pure San Antonio. They are used to handling large groups. We recently dined there with 19 family members. It is adjacent to a huge... More

The best part would be that it is open 24 hours in case you need to eat in the middle of the night. It's very loud if you eat during a decent meal time. The food is OK, nothing special. If you show up and there's a line, add about 30 minutes to the time they tell you.

Mi Tierra has been there forever and is a San Antonio tradition. It is open 24 hours, 7 days out of 7, and there are always lots of customers. It's classic Texas Mexican food, excellently prepared, with a huge menu and always good and fresh. Plenty of atmosphere, and they also have a Mexican bakery.

Another staple of San Antonio. It was there when I was born and that is a really long time ago. Typical TEXMEX food which is well prepared and served piping hot. The atmosphere almost makes you think you are in Mexico. Very colorful. There often Mariachis strolling between the tables. Check out the bakery before you leave. And I is... More

This is the original TexMex experience in San Antonio. Coming to SA and not eating here is like coming to SA and not visiting the Alamo.

If you have never experienced old world and legendary Latin cuisine, made for scratch with love . . . then you have never enjoyed Mi Tierra's. Off and away from the main hustle and bustle tourist areas, your dining experience is sure to be both memorable and economical. True it next time you are in town . . . I'm... More

Not the best food but if you are from outside Texas you probably think its great. It has a lot of atmosphere that fits with San Antonio. It is a great place to take out of town guests. The food is ok but probably the best Mexican food on the river walk.
