This restaurant is supposed to be one of the best in Texas. It was good but compared to the price it was not all its cracked up to be. The salsa was very good. I got the chicken tacos, one soft and one crispy. The crispy taco was soggy, but tell chicken itself was tasty. My husband got... read more

This is a great location for those visiting from out of state get the truth layer of Tex-Mex. It is also across the walkway from a large Mexican market which is great for gifts to take home to family

One of my hometown favorites. Expect a longer wait on the weekends. Drinks at mariachi bar will keep you busy while you wait for table. Everything on menu is delicious. Make sure to try the pan dulce.

I ordered the Wednesday Lunch Special-Tacos Dish. It was so tasteful and enjoyed every bite of it. The atmosphere was welcome, friendly and clean. Very pleasant staff eager to assist the customers. Great Margarita drink. The bakery was loaded with variety of enticing looking goodies. I bought the chocolate pecan praline and it was very tasty. One of my favorite... More

Restaurant is definitely geared for tourist and fun place to go. The bakery has lots of goodies to choose from, many that may use the same type of dough but dresses it up in different ways. We bought bakery items for our next day's breakfast on our hotel patio. Restaurant food was average, little on the bland side but maybe that's... More

Been there many times. The owner is a great friend of the military. Great atmosphere and best margaritas in town. Will always be my go to place for out of town guests for authentic Mexican food!

If you are visiting San Antonio and can only go to one restaurant. ... I'd make it this one. My enchiladas were great, and our waitress brought some mole to try first. Flan... perfect . And took home some items from bakery.

We've been living in San Antonio on and off for 31 years, and while this place is okay for a quick bite once you get seated (and depending on when you go,you could face a 45 minute wait...easily), the food has been so-so for the past few years. It's not bad, but it's not great. Want the real thing??? Go... More

I always tell friends to visit this spot to get a great vibe of San Antonio. It's bakery is also amazing, and it's just good food and sitting amidst all the festive decorations is a blast.

Someone recommended we eat here, although I'm not sure why. The food was bland and drinks were just ok. There are much more flavorful options out there.
