After numerous visits to San Antonio i had never been to Mi Tierra Restaurant. Therefore we checked it out on this trip. We went early on Sunday Morning of Cinco De Mayo, we must of gotten there right before the madness because our experience was great! I had the Huevos Rancheros (my favorite dish) and i was not disappointed. The... More

After hearing from to different locals that this is the one restaurant that must be experienced in San Antonio, I checked out the reviews and gave it a try. The atmosphere was festive, but crowded. Service was very quick. Food was tasty, but not the best ever. I appreciated and was surprised that the food was not overloaded and stuffed... More

We were only eating one dinner in San Antonio. This restaurant was a recommendation from a customer of mine. The reviews here sounded good so we gave it a try. Parking lot was very small, had to park in a paid lot and walk to the restaurant. We were seated promplty which was nice but they sat us right next... More

We couldn't wait to eat at this restaurant because 4 different people recommended it to us. Margaritas are wonderful and delicious. Had to wait for a table but was only about 15 minute wait. Got seated and everything went south from there. Waitress came right over to take our order. Didn't even offer chips/salsa or a drink! We told her... More

We were there during Fiesta week but still managed to get a table promptly (tried again on Saturday, but way too busy then!), Great service, nice selection of menu items. All our food was prepared perfectly and portion size was excellent. Nice patio area to watch the goings on in Market Square area. Did not get the pastries, I know... More

Our small party of 150 was treated to a memorable experience of entertainment and food. The menu was preset but not to worry as plates of appetizers held a sample of most menuitems. Hot, tasty and augmented by several levels of salsa. Our dinner plates had both steak and chicken fajitas, tamale, cheese enchilada, beef taco, pico de gallo. The... More

Being greeted by a 150 foot bakery counter can't be a bad thing, unless you have trouble making up your mind. It's actually easy...just start pointing!! Wonderful pralines. Try the ones with toasted coconut. We had a great dinner of Tex Mex classics, including cabrito. Margaritas were very tasty. Great service, quick and attentive. Neat location with lots of shopping,... More

While Mi Tierra is a tourist favorite -- you will notice that it is a favorite of the locals also -- they just come in the less crowded times between meals, and you should too, for best service. Don't stick with the usual Tex-Mex standards like beef and chicken tacos and enchiladas. Try the Tacos del Mercado w/ Carnitas de... More
