Unique. Decorated fabulously. Staff and food wonderful. Nuns selling items in entry was appreciated. Bakery great. Mariachi singers excellent. I want to go back.

The food here was such a treat, the waitress was extremely friendly. And the smell from the bakery was intoxicating.

We came at lunchtime and had a short wait where we salivated looking at the beautiful bakery cases. It was fun watching the non-moving Mexican Elvis until people realized he was real! The menu is large, the prices are very reasonable especially the daily specials. I appreciated the vegetarian options and enjoyed my vegetable enchilada. The Mexican hot chocolate was... More

Where do I start...the best food, open 24 hours, the best Bloody Mary that I have had in a long time, and the bakery for take home goodies...visit the beautiful bar while waiting for your table. This place is huge. A MUST DO while in San Antonio!!!

We eat here often and are never disappointed. The chips, roasted salsa, tortillas, deluxe dinner, breakfasts, pastries, atmosphere, and hours you can't beat.

Hubs had been here before for breakfast, but I'd never been, so we stopped in for dinner about 6 PM on a Tuesday Night. We got there when there was a very long line, but since most of those ahead of us were waiting for tables for 10 or more, and we were only a party of 2, we were... More

Our family visited Mi Tierra for breakfast and were excited to try some specialty dishes. All of our food was very bland and disappointing. It wasn't terrible but it certainly wasn't special. The bakery was the same story. The decorations in the restaurant were really crazy and fun and our kids really enjoyed that part. This would probably be a... More

We can't believe that this place was ranked so high in Trip Advisor. We went there before it started getting busy and the service was still terrible. The food was overpriced for the quality. It was definitely a tourist trap. So many other great and places to get awesome Mexican food.

My husband and I had dinner there one night. I ordered the tamales and was not a fan of the gravy on them. Our server was distracted, and did not seem very happy. A couple days later we went back and bought pastries. We were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices for authentic pastries.
