First time at the restaurant in market square but I had been hearing about it! I must say it surprisingly exceeded my expectation! I'm really picky on how I like my Mexican food and margaritas to taste and this place blew me away because everything was great! It's hard to find places where everything you try is good. Even stuff... More

We happened across this restaurant while walking near San Antonio's RiverWalk area. Our servicer Olga was great. She took the time to find out if this was our first visit there and then explained each section of the menu (Authentic Mexican food vs. Tex-Mex food). We had the Michoanos (Pork tenderloins) "I'm sure that I spelled the dish wrong" with... More

We decided to go here for a dinner for a party of six. This placed was highly recommended by a number of friends from the east coast. This place is strictly Mexican food including all of the noise. If you want a quiet place do not come here. The food will leave you full for the night. We received our... More

This is more about having fun than food, but don't get me wrong, the food is terrific. Green enchiladas great; cabrito terrific. Good solid dependable food. Mariachis and incredible decor. See to believe all set in the middle of the Mercado. My favorite is to go for breakfast (huevos rancheros) and then shop before the day heats up. Bakery goods... More

My mom and I went to Mi Tierra after a recommendation from someone I know who visited San Antonio. The place is beautifully decorated and the staff is friendly. The food was decent and the prices were doable. The reason why I'm giving this restaurant three stars, however, is that there was a dead fruit fly in the margarita I... More

Of our four evenings in San Antonio, we had dinner here twice! Large restaurant, but still quaint and interesting....from the mariachi band to the huge painted mural honoring famous Latino people to the on-site bakery....the oatmeal cookies are great! Both times, the wait turned out to be much shorter than we were told...which is a plus...but it is worth the... More

We ate here Sunday Morning and it was like I was back at my grandmother's house. Loved it! My son had the egg & Bacon tacos. My husband & I had the Mexican Sausage and eggs. Just wonderful and the Bakery was perfect. Loved the whole experience! Go early to avoid the rush they serve breakfast 24 hours a day.

We went in for a late lunch. We were seated in the air conditioned sunroom at the front of the restaurant so we were able to enjoy sights of the square while dining. Wait staff members were dressed in festive costumes. Service was inconsistent and we had to ask other waitstaff for items that our waitress failed to bring us.... More

I did not find this place to be all that others have said. The food was just average. Very big place and always busy. If you like baked goods then go for that if nothing else. The line for that is always long as well, but worth it!
