First Class Atmosphere!

We went for an early lunch so we didn't have to stand in place very long. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. As we love authentic mexican food, we were pleased but not necessarily overwhelmed. The experience of the restaurant for me was worth the trip! The bakery glass front counters are... read more

We stopped in here after reading the reviews. Clearly, they must have been rating the desserts only. My husband and I shared an appetizer with the intention of having dessert. What we had was not worth the price. We were so disappointed that we decided to skip the dessert all together. Next time we will go for the gorditas they... More

This Mexican restaurant is a delicious stop for breakfast. The Chilaquiles is good. The tortillas are so fresh, warm and soft. The bacon was crispy without being burnt. But really, the tortillas were the star! Reasonably priced and not a long wait even on a busy Sunday morning.

If ever in San Antonio, you got to go eat here! It's open 24 hours and busy all the time! The decorations are amazing so take some time and walk through the whole restaurant! Great food, great margaritas, great service, and do not leave without buying something from the bakery! They have the best pecan pralines you'll ever put in... More

We were in town to visit the Riverwalk, but most of the restaurants close early there.. So everyone we meet recommend Mi Tierra, it's a long 15 minute walk from the Riverwalk but very worthed. Friendly staff, excellent food, chips & salsa were fresh. Nice and clean environment. Also for a fee the guys will come over and play the... More

Mi Tierra is one of the fun places to take visitors in San Antonio. It is so 'traditional' with the decorations, music, murals, and really good Mexican food. We took a group of 8 and had no trouble getting a table. The service was good and they accomodated our 2 wheelchairs easily. Free parking by the door is an added... More

This is a tourist trap. The Mexican food is not that good, some dishes are better than others. There's nothing worse than bad and over priced Mexican food. The ambiance is good and the Mexican bakery selections are also good. If you're looking for Mexican bakery, this is the place.

From the festive ambience to the tasty food, overall worth the visit. The mole was delicious. Be sure to pick up some pan dulce on the way out, especially the empanadas.

I think the food here is terrible. I have been forced to go here on several occasions because it is listed in as a "must" for San Antonio. There as so many wonderful Mexican food restaurants in this city that Mi Tierra would be last on My List. We had beef crispy tacos and cheese enchiladas. I think the food... More

This is certainly a tourist trap being located in the marketplace. It is still worth stopping in as the atmosphere is texmex and service very good. The menu is fairly standard mexican. I thought it was fairly over priced for what it is. Still the food was above average but the fresh tortillas rocked.
