This was great food and ambiance, but parking, waiting over an hour, and average customer service aren't desirable. While the food was delicious, I don't agree that it warranted the prices. I had the fajitas for 2 with beef, chicken, and we added grilled shrimp. It was a lot of food and delicious food, but not for $33. The guacamole... More

OMG!! I love this place! First time at the restaurant in market square but I had been hearing about it! I must say it surprisingly exceeded my expectation! I'm really picky on how I like my Mexican food and margaritas to taste and this place blew me away because everything was great! It's hard to find places where everything you... More

My wife and I and two other couples travel together and always make Mi Tierra a meal stop when in San Antonio. It's got a good bar with free chips and salsa if you have to wait or prefer to sit a while before dining. The menu has every facet of good Tex-Mex food and it's prepared well with good... More

My husband and I visited San Antonio and had lunch at Mi Tierra. I ordered Cabritos, which was tender and delicious. My husband ordered menudo, which was pretty average. He was a little bit disappointed as he was expecting it to be better than most places. Our waitress was attentive and pleasant. I guess we are not so familiar with... More

The best tortillas and food around in SA. But service today was bad, usually fast and curteous. Oh ya make sure and order breakfast not a dinner plate at 6am. Oops just assumed breakfast only. Open 24hrs is great, candies they make are delicious and expensive.

We visited San Antonio for a conference and choose Mi Tierra, based on a hotel recommendation. What a waste of time and money. Food was way below average. We will not go back and not recommend to friends who travel to SA.

I've been to Mi Tierra many times but normally only for breakfast. The fresh squeezed orange juice is fantastic. Lunch and dinner are only ok. I would only recommend having breakfast here. The bakery is a must even if you aren't eating here. Pecan pralines are the best. Very hard to decide what to have.

The first night we came to San Antonio, we walked from our hotel to Mi Tierra, ordered some to-go lemonade, chips and salsa. The gentleman that helped us was wonderful and didn't charge us for the kids drinks we had ordered! The chips and salsa were wonderful and the lemonade was fresh sqeeezed! So we were excited to be going... More

Very decorated and festive restaurant with servers in authentic Mexican wear and strolling Mariachi band. The food was delicious. One of the best Tamales I have ever eaten. Recommend the Mexican Dinner with a cheese enchilada, beef tamale, and traditional taco served with rice and beans. Enough for 2 people.
