We arrived at San Antonio airport and I felt like menudo at 11:30 p.m.. I knew Mi Tierra was open so we zipped right over. I was surprised at the number of people and thought we are at the right place. I ordered menudo which was TASTELess, my husband ordered chicken mole, the chicken was clearly cooked separate from the... More

Started with bean and cheddar cheese nachos with guacamole. Excellent. Hard choice between chile verde chic enchiladas and cabrito and opted for the former. Not the usual chicken, this was stewed and flavorful on its own but with the verde sauce and melted cheese, fantastic! Great margaritas too

Great Tex-Mex favorites will be found here. Authenic, for sure. I really enjoyed my lunch, nachos topped with guacamole. My traveling companion said that his enchiladas were awesome. The resturant is in the Market area, surrounded by quaint shopping area which was an added tourist benefit.

We ate lunch here on a Tuesday. The lunch rush was on and there was only about a 20 min wait for a table of 2. The décor of the restaurant is something to be seen! Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. I have honestly had better Tex-Mex at Chevy's in St. Louis than here. It was so disappointing... More

Before heading to the game we decided to stop at Mi Tierra Café for a quick lunch. Anyone that's been to San Antonio knows that this restaurant is awesome. I had the milanesa and wife ordered the fajita tacos. Omg! The milanesa here was too die for. Very soft and full of flavor. The tacos my wife ordered were also... More

Authentic and delicious. You can't go wrong here; come for the food, stay for the atmosphere. Between the beautifully decorated dining rooms to the wonderful bar, we absolutely enjoyed our visit.

Came to visit while in town. Loved the crazy festive environment. The food was incredible. There were three of us and we shared the chile relleno and the carne asada plates. It was really a lot of food even for three people. My favorite though would have to be the flour tortillas. They were INCREDIBLE! We picked some items up... More

This is a fun spot with lots to look at, sights and sounds. Have strolling musicians who free-lance so be prepared to pay for your song. Food is good but can't say its outstanding. Bakery part is amazing. Its very crowded so be prepared to wait.

They serve ACTUAL Mexican food. Not Tex-Mex, authentic Mexican. They have mariachi music and a bakery that sells Mexican sweet bread.
