This was my first visit to Thai Cafe. For the record, the restaurant says the lunch buffet is available Monday through Saturday 11:00 am till 2:30 pm and at dinner only Friday and Saturday 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Closed Sunday. I have very high standards when it comes to food in general, but... read more

Thai Cafe's buffet is extensive and reasonably priced. You will never leave disappointed with a great selection of delicious lunch items. Beware though that some items are Thai Heat! Service is friendly and efficient. When in SA, go out of your way Thai Café!

I've lived in San Antonio for 15 years and this is the place for Thai food. The beef salad on the lunch buffet is one of the top 5 best thing I have eaten in my life. I now live in Austin and I still haven't found the beef salad that compares. I make sure I eat here when I... More

I read the reviews and thought well it's got to be good if it's on trip advisor. WRONG!!! The food was dried out and cold. Chicken was cold and dried out. I said something about it and the reply was "a lamp can only do so much", really. The food was also made minimally spicy did not find heat in... More

This is the facility on Nacadoches Rd in NE San Antonio. Used to be that the food in the buffet serving trays was hot, at least very warm. I just tried it again at my wife's suggestion, but know why I haven't been back in years. Sure the entrees are tasty, but I like to sit down to a meal... More

The buffet is awesome as long as you don't go at 11:00 am for lunch because nothing is ever ready. They have really upped their prices which makes it difficult for some to pay. I will go back due to the food being so good but probably not as often as I used to.

I thought the food was good and they have good variety of thai food to choose from; however, I was disappointed when they charged my 1 year old baby $3.95. I guess a few spoon of rice and broth cost that much to feed my baby. One of my frIend had a 2 year old and they also charged her... More

Wide variety of Thai specialties to choose from. I'm usually not one to like lunch buffets but this one is very good and a worthwhile place to have a quick lunch that is very nearly as good as ordering from a menu.
