We arrived in a down pour. No valet parking. OK. We got to the Tower without too much difficluty. As soon as we arrived in the restaurant we were told they were having "technical difficulties", which after querying the hostess, we learned the computers were down and there would be at least a 20 minute wait. No paper and pencill... more
My first visit to this restaurant. Enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. The food was delicious from the appetizers, dinner, and dessert, though, I had to send my steak back (rare is not my thing). There was an issue with our seating/reservations arrangement that was addressed and taken care of when I (we) spoke with the manager. Loved the view... more
The restaurant is beautiful and the view breathtaking, the food....not so much. Our server was very cordial and prompt to serve our cocktails, we wathced the sunset and prepared for a wonderful meal. What we got was a mix of badly executed dishes from appetizers to entrees (we did not dare order dessert). Our server reccomended the seafood Fondue, the... more
We celebrated my husband's birthday at this restaurant in September and had a wonderful evening. Service was tops, the food was delicious, and the view spectacular! We did arrive before sunset and in the hour we were there, had a 360 degree view of the city and lights. Beautiful decor in the new restaurant and the cost for 5 plus... more

An out of town guest, my sister, her husband and I (all 3 San Antonio area residents) were excited to see the revitalized Tower, it's new restaurant, and the new 4-D ride. We had read reviews and newspaper articles expounding on the new facilities and restaurant. Based on what we read, I guess we just expected too much. Coming from... more
My husband and I had dinner at Eyes Over Texas in San Antonio, Tx on Monday, July 3, 2006. The food was outstanding, the service could not have been better. Our wait person was very nice, she took the time to answer our questions and was very attentive. We plan to return for dinner just as soon as possible. If... more
My husband and I wanted to check out this restaurant over the renovated Tower of the Americas in San Antonio, Texas. I can tell you that the service is one of the wost I have ever seen. It is very slow and not very efficient. The waiter kept dissapearing on us, and I think it has to do with the... more
