Great place

Lived in San Antonio for 10 years and this was my favorite haunt. Best salsas and pico de gallo in San Antonio. Must have had every dish on the menu. Great food. Best margaritas in Texas. I truly miss El Mirasol and they have spoiled my taste buds. Florida doesn't compare! Servers are fabulous... read more

Was looking forward to this restaurant based on the reviews. Although the food was not bad, I had the chile relleno and the wife had the snapper plate, it just wasn't good enough to make another trip. I just got tired of going to Palenque Grill and was looking for something different but so far they have the best Mexican... More

Before you come to the El Mirasol, I would recommend that you check out the menu online. The extensive menu will have you trying to make entree decisions that will include everything on the menu!!! It must all be fabulous as the crowd was happy happy happy as they were enjoying their meals. The atmosphere at El Mirasol is festive... More

We had a 645 pm reservation and the patio was already packed. We had asked to eat inside which wS soon crowded after we sat down. Has Tex Mex items but a wider menu. I had Poquito de Todo, a Little of Everything. It came on two large plates and included a taco with chopped fajita beef, a cheese quesadilla... More

After checking the reviews on several sites I decided to try El Mirasol for lunch. I ordered chicken enchiladas with a cream poblano sauce. I twas terrible. The chicken had no taste and was tough which is hard to do when it is shredded. The sauce was watery and runny. The chips were stale. The salsa was good. The service... More

Forget tex-mex, this is the real deal! I have been to countless Mexican restaurants over my lifetime, and this easily rates in the top 5. In addition, the staff was friendly and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere.

We come here once a week, it's so delicious. We love this place and the service is impeccable. The margaritas are pricey but DEF WORTH the price! I can't drink more than one. Come and enjoy!

We have been eating here for a few years and have never been disappointed. The roasted salsa and chips are the best. The service is good and if they are a little slow no big deal I'm there to relax and enjoy the food

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants on the north side of San Antonio. The salsa is both delicious and unique, as it contains no onions. I have been eating here for many years and have always been happy with the quality of food and great service. The owner's father established the famous La Fogata restaurant, and this eatery... More

I have to disagree with most of the other reviews of this place. Went here due to the number of great reviews this place has received. While the service was great, I just can't get too excited about the food, which to me I'd rate as fairly average tex mex fare in San Antonio. I had the shrimp enchildas which... More
