Usually sit at the bar and the waiters/waitress's are fast with their service and always ready to recommend items on the menu. We usually order the crab fingers. Go often but the noise level is very loud.

Ate at this restaurant while San Antonio on business. Service was fast and efficient and the food was fabulous. We had the Andouille Sausage& Seafood gumbo which was excellent. Foe entrees we had the naked North Atlantic Swordfish - just swordfish with roasted acorn squash. The swordfish was fresh and expertly prepared. The squash was even better. My work mate... More

Not the beat southern seafood. I knew it was a chain but had higher hopes. The prices ($20-$30) for an entrees just didn't deliver. Would have rather gone to the colored lobster place (not a fan of it either) and at least gotten a little more flavor in the dish.

This place was hopping! My wife and I love going to Pappadeauxs. We've been to the one in Phoenix and now here. There food is so good no matter which location you choose. My wife had the Jumbo Lump Cakes (2) $22 and I ordered the Medium Alaskan King Crab with Asparagus $39. Both crab dishes were just the right... More

Dined at Pappadeaux several times and have always enjoyed the food. On occasion the service can be a bit slow but not unacceptable. They have a large menu with seafood the main attraction but lots of other choices. Prices tend to be a bit on the expensive side for this type of restaurant but probably not unreasonable! Overall good dining... More

There was a really long wait so I ended up sitting at the bar which I try not to do. The food was really good. I never had gator nuggets and they were amazing. I recommended this restaurant to others staying at the hotel I was in.

They have a very good happy hour deal -- low cost drinks, and a list of mini food tastes from which you could make a meal like a mini oyster po boy sandwich or a shrimp/crab fondeaux.. Plus the entire regular menu. One of the better items is their seafood gumbo. Chock full of enough seafood to make a meal.... More

The atmosphere is great and this place seats a lot of people. Service was excellent. However, I ordered a ceasar salad with grill salmon and it was over $30. Yep....over $30!! I didn't know and the server didn't tell me that when I substituted chicken for salmon that I would be charged an entire plate charge for the salmon. So,... More

We have been going for years and lately over the last 2years it has gotten worse. This was our favorite Cajun seafood place, great location. The food tonight was so salty it was unedible, the drinks were watery. I have to say the manager took care of our food and was very sorry and our waiter was very attentive. I... More
