As Always, A Wonderful Meal

Took my California aunt, cousin and SA parents for lunch at "the deax". It was a rainy, cold and damp. No close parking available so I dropped them off at the door and told my cuz to supervise things while I parked. Told her to ask for an interior table for 5 as my experience tells me the place... read more

During our travels if there is a Pappadeaux in town we hit it. The fried shrimp are too die for. The Sweet Potato pecan pie is a fantastic dessert. Do not miss this restaurant but always go early. We went at 445. Ny 515 there was an hour wait.

got there early because of everyone trying to get in. Husband had lobster bisque, huge stuffed shrimp. I had oyster and shrimp appetizer and caribean lobster. Excellent food and service with Shawn. Would definitely eat there again

I went here several times whilst on San antonio. the food here is excellent and always to a consistently high standard. The staff are well trained and polite and the prices are very reasonable.

While attending a conference we decided to have seafood for dinner since it was Ash Wednesday. The customer service was super awesome. The food was super mega delicious.

I was finally able to try a Pappadeaux since it was just across the parking lot of my hotel and I wasn't turned off by the food, but wasn't impressed either. While I arrived for a late night take out order, I was impressed with the vitality of the restaurant. Crowded but not packed and the staff were very polite... More

there is even a Pappadeaux's in Chicago. There is only one in San Antonio, wis they would put another in on the northeast. I would honestly more often even though it had become very expensive compared to the old days. I started in Houston in 1988 and it has been my favorite ever since. The crawfish bisque is by far... My fiancé knows that they have my absolute favorite dish, the crawfish étouffée. The only problem is, it must be many other people's favorite dish too because it goes up in price every year. Due to the excessive price of that dish, it's now no longer a once a month visit, but rather a once a year visit. Please lower... More
