One of the best Seafood restaurants I have eaten in.

I have eaten in this restaurant several times. Whenever I visit San Antonio, I make it a point to eat here if at all possible. I love the shrimp, different fish, and especially the soft shell crab! The gumbo is not my favorite, though. The servers are always excellent! They are sometimes busy... read more

The seafood in Pappadeaux is a bit above a Red Lobster. it is not, by far, a high end seafood restaurant. For a relaxed meal the fish are very fresh as are shelfish. The ambience is informal and waiters service are no more than you would expect. The catch of the day is your best bet.

My spouse and I were looking for a good seafood dinner to finish off a great trip to San Antonio. This restaurant was recommended by the desk clerk at our hotel. Everything was perfect. Sea Bass, Halibut, nice atmosphere, very good service. Even a complimentary desert because it was our first visit. Nice Touch.

We loooove Pappdeaux, but this one was suprisingly bad. The service was decent but the food was served COLD! It was a graduation weekend that landed on Mother's Day Sunday but even after a 2 hour wait we didn't expect cold food!

great seafood. and the crawdads are the best I ever tasted! Stayed at this less than secure hotel - the Drury Inn and Suites Airport - because it is right across the Highway from Pappadeaux.

Decided to visit Pappadeaux after seeing many positive reviews, and wasn't disappointed. Had to wait almost 20 minutes to find a spot in the bar, but the wait was worth it. The staff at the bar were very attentive of my needs. The Cedar plank salmon was excellent. Will be back on my next San Antonio visit

My family and I were returning home from Mexico to San Francisco and had a 6hr layover in San Antonio. We had to clear customs in SA and recheck our luggage. Unfortunately, the airline wouldn't let us check our luggage in 4hrs before our flight. So the 5 of us (my husband and I, 2 teens, and an 8y/o) had... More

My husband and I visited on a Thursday night. We waited 30 minutes for a table. The wait was worth it, as many others were doing. We ordered the crab cakes, one dozen oysters on the half shell and seafood platter. Portion size is very generous, and the service was excellent! I have to say that the crab cakes at... More

With a few new business associates, It was for me to find a place for dinner, I wanted to make a good impression so I decided on Pappadeaux. By selecting this restaurant I knew that I couldn't go wrong. Sure enough, by the end of the day everyone commended me for choosing that joint, most all of them had never... More
