Average lunch!

Not bad for a quick lunch! The food tastes good, and the price is reasonable for lunch! The wait staff was average!

Great bar-b-que, excellent meats and yummy, creamy side dishes. Right on the river walk. Full bar and casual dining. Down side the out door tables are right on the side walk with a lot of foot traffic. Staff is attentive, would recommend.

Our first night in San Antonio and I remembered eating at a BBQ joint along the Riverwalk. I did not have great memories from the first time, but we had a hankering for BBQ. We were dissapointed from the get go. The place is rather dingy, floor had a layer of food bits everywhere we walked. The restroom was ghastly.... More

Stayed near the Riverwalk for nearly a week and had a hankerin' for good Texas BBQ. We decided not to drive, but find a place on the Riverwalk. We were disappointed with this. They offer a choice of "complimentary" or "home-made" bread - $3.99 for a half loaf. We splurged on the home-made - it is so sweet and heavy... More

Dined at this river walk location a week ago and was not disappointed. Our filet steak was grilled to perfection and great flavor. The homemade bread is decadent and is to die for. I also had the frozen house margarita that was so very delicious. I will definitely go back to this restaurant very soon.

Wanting to sample Texas bbq we stopped here for lunch while at the River Walk. We ordered a brisket sandwich and a brisket platter. The sandwich was good, but the brisket platter wasn't that great. Disappointed if this bbq represents Texas bbq.

With the hype in ads etc and our desire to break away from tex-mex, we had high expectations. Can't say the ribs were bad, but the sauce made the gristle and toughness acceptable. The coleslaw, mashed potatoes and the bread were all very good. Out booth adjacent to the bar was next to a pass thru for servers and staff... More

We came here and were told up front that we could be seated but would be close to a 20 minute wait before a server could get to us. However much to our surprise someone came and took our drink orders. He turned out to be our server. He brought us our drinks and some wonderful dark bread while we... More

Watch out! You will get more than you expected here. From the half loaf of bread to the size of the plates and drinks. And the barbecue sets the standard. Not my first time to eat here and it will not be my last.

Great location on the river walk...recommend not to eat out side like welcome did though. Birds will crap on you and ur table. Great portions of food but price is a little much for what I call average bbq. Our server was outstanding though!!
