Trip Advisor....THANK YOU ! The term deliciously Amazing is barely capable of describing this place. The creamed Corn is a secret recipe and I wish I could have it. We ordered the (half)chicken, Brisket, Chopped brisket, with a side of Peach Cobbler and sliced pickles. Honestly that was thee BEST Creamed Corn I've ever had. If you try it and... More

This was my first visit to San Antonio in 40+ years. It was also my first time to eat barbecue at Rudy's. It was everything I was told and more. The cream corn was undoubtedly the best I have ever eaten. The barbecue ribs were scrumptious. No doubt about me returning to eat here.

Was in San Antonio for a business trip and a group of us escaped the conference hotel in the evening in search of good Texas style BBQ. Everybody recommended Rudy's and the place sure as hell lived up to expectations. First off the place is unique. A gas stations mixed with a BBQ joint - sounds odd but it works.... More

This is a must for any BBQ afficionado, this is the place. There are several locations around the San Antonio area, but the location out in Leon Springs is the best, due to the location. The best BBQ sausage, brisket(what they are famous for), turkey, and chicken ever. Their creamed corn with cream cheese melted in is the bomb... all... More

We were recently in San Antonio visiting relatives and one of the restaurants they took us to was Rudy’s Barbecue. It is definitely a no frills restaurant but the food was great. You have plastic utensils and no plates, just sheets of paper to eat on. You stand in line to order and then take your food to long community... More

Original Rudy's location in San Antonio set in an old gas station. We've been lots of times because it's the best barbecue around! Excellent Texas style barbecue with all the sides! Typical Texas style served on butcher paper and with sliced white bread. Lots of good tangy barbecue sauce available. Beer and soda available. Great Texas barbecue experience.

I was in town for a sales conference and had to get some BBQ before coming back home since this was my first trip to Texas. I contacted one of my local clients and he recommended Rudy's. As the group I was with and I drove up to the gas bar which Rudy's is attached to, we were a little... More

I was back in San Antonio for another business meeting and the group I was traveling with had this place on it's bucket list. I tried to warn them that the sauces this place sells is better than than food. I relented and went any way with them. This place is a la carte, which is never good for the... More
