Yep, that actually happened. What self respecting BBQ place doesn't have brisket ready at lunch time? We were there around noon and thy asked us to wait 15m for brisket- turned out to be longer. After 30m we left. Might want to call before you go so your not disappointed. Otherwise food is pretty good. BBQ is everywhere down here-... More

I go to training in San Antonio about every 2 or 3 months. This is my second stop every time I am down there. My first being a Mexican restaurant. I don't mean its not at the top of my list. Because it is at the top of my BBQ list. I just like to get my Mexican food fix... More

The servers were rude and they got our order wrong. The brisket was OK but the sausage was terrible. They gave us a half a loaf of white bread - it was wasted.

I went to the original location north of 1604 on the route 10 access road. I have been here before the brisket ribs smoked Turkey and sausage is to die for. The creamed corn is unique and very good. You wait in a buffet line and the cut your meat to order. No plates meat is on waxed paper the... More

I never had eaten BBQ before and we knew this place from tripadviser. The environment is a kind of country, food was great. They gave us some samples to tryout as we are the first time there. We ordered chipped and some bread to make sandwitch and cole slaw, they were just awesome. They have really unique drinks too. They... More

Friends had been raving about this place so I was rather excited to visit! The place is not highbrow, it's attached to a gas station and there are plastic tables behind it where you sit, with you tasked to clean your own tables. You go up to the BBQ and that's where the best bit is, you can order varied... More

The casual atmosphere and wonderful BBQ sauce. We give this as Christmas gifts every year to our Family and Business Associated around the country.

If you are looking for good bbq this is it. It's nothing fancy, it's actually attached to a gas station! Your tray is a plastic crate that bottles of pop come in. The cream corn is outstanding, a must have and so is the potatoe salad. I had the brisket and my husband had the chopped bbq which is a... More

Other than the line out the door, it was great. Ribs, sausage, potato salad, and especially the creamed corn were excellent.

This place has been around for a long time. All of the food is good, especially like the pork ribs , brisket and creamed corn. Friendly. Usually get take out but there is an outdoor place to eat. Excellent value. The sauce is great and you can buy some to take home. If your headed to the hill country a... More
