Great place for breakfast or lunch and just 15" north of downtown. We stopped for breakfast and were served our food within six minutes of placing our order! Food was very good and served hot. Visited this past weekend. Had never been and was excited to see what all the hype was about. I was not impressed. Breakfast was served quickly but definitely not worth the 1 hr wait.

Long wait but is is worth it. From the coffee to the pancakes. Amazing! Came here just to see what all the hype was about. Will wait again to eat here.

Being somewhat of a pancake connoisseur I tend to search out a top pancake house in a city that I visit. The Magnolia is definitely worth the drive from downtown SA for morning treat. The menu is extensive and quality excellent. On a weekend be prepared to wait as it gets full early.

I had the calico hash. It's hash with pork shoulder. Incredibly good. On the side, buckwheat pancakes. Coarse grain. I left nothing on the plates. The coffee was good, too. They leave the pitcher on your table. I'll revisit for sure.

We met up with some friends for brunch on a Saturday morning. There was a crowd milling around when we arrived at 10:00 a.m. We put our name and phone number on the list and ran to get a coffee while we waited. (They text you when it's your turn.) The wait was about an hour. We expected it, so... More

This morning, I took my granddaughter and her friend to the Magnolia Pancake Haus for a little breakfast before they depart for Europe next week. Except for the short wait, everything else was first class. The short wait was because the place is so popular, they can't fit everyone in at once. The menu is extensive. The prices are reasonable.... More

I know don't you hate reviews like this? We went on a weekend about 10:30 AM thinking maybe a lot of folks had already had breakfast; but nooo!! But we were prepared to wait having been here before but what we didn't know is that you cannot get coffee there to enjoy while you wait! You can't buy it and... More

I have had a variety of pancakes, the plain ones are the best way to appreciate their quality. The lemon poppy waffles are very good. The Apfel Pfannekuchen is to die for - if you only visit once, try this specialty. Also, try the hashes, especially the corned beef and calico.

If you didn't happen to arrive at 7am you probably waited in line to eat some of the best pancakes. Well worth the wait and a don't miss this SA treasure
