My wife enjoyed a large stack of fresh blueberry pancakes, a kingsize portion of golden hashbrowns and a generous serving of apple-maple beacon. The pancakes just melted in your mouth. I had to apply a light film of whipped butter on them, no need for syrup! Although she went ahead and poured a wee bit of warm maple syrup. I... More

This is one of our very favorite places for breakfast in San Antonio. Everything we have tried has been good. I usually the the "Eggs&" which is 2 eggs anyway you want, a breakfast meat, and pancakes. My favorite meat there is the Applewood Smoked Bacon. The coffee is good and juice is fresh-squeezed. Service is quick and attentive. And... More

I have been to Magnolia several times, at different times throughout the morning/lunch, and I have never had to wait less than 45 minutes for a table. There is a decent amount of waiting space provided, but it is almost all outdoors, which can definitely be a problem in the Texas heat. All of that being said, the food here... More

The wait time was about one hour. The waitress was very nice. The food was ALL cold, which I should have figured, since once I returned my dish, they "prepared another" in about 3 minutes. Not enough time to cook up something fresh. It appeared that the food is pre-preparded and then just slapped on a warm plate. I-Hop does... More

We went to Magnolia on July 4th. The wait to get seated was long, but well worth it. The pancakes are to die for and the eggs are delicious. I ordered the Ham and cheese omelet and a short stack. The omelet was cooked just right and it was tasty! The pancakes were light, fluffy and delicious! I love their... More

Ham and hashbrowns were delicious, service was fast. I know all the food is homemade, which I appreciate, but the english muffins in the eggs benedict were like thick hockey pucks, and the hollandaise sauce was too lemony.

I was staying very close to the restaurant this weekend, that is why I consider it to have breakfast (which it turns into lunch). 60 to 70 minutes waiting time, made me think that the food was going to be out of chart, don't you think? I order a chocolate chip pancakes and a chicken sandwich... IHOP is way better...... More

I am actually 2 years behind in writing this review, but I think of this place often. We were visiting on vacation and stopped by for breakfast. I won't be able to spell my favorite dish, but it was basically a giant pancake with apples baked in to it. I tell everyone I talk to about it. Can't wait to... More

After reviewing earlier reviews we came at 7am when they opened on the 4th of July to beat the rush. Pleasantly surprised, early enough to beat the crowd. Had to wait for 2 other family members to arrive but we were happy that they sat us without our full group as some other places would do. Simply put, there isn't... More

We stopped here based on the reviews posted here. We enjoyed every aspect of our visit. We all had the cake and eggs. We each tried different pancakes. I had the pecan and I asked for some praline sauce, which goes perfectly with the pecan pancakes. The old time decor is nice. On a side note, the toilet seats have... More
