The first, most important thing you need to know about this restaurant is that the wait is ridiculous. When I checked it was an hour and a half...that's the bad news. The good news is there is an app for that. Download "No Wait" and use it. The app allows you to get in line and check your progress without... More

I saw this place on Diners and Dives and decided to try it. I ordered the eggs benedict with crab and it was average. My niece ordered the chocolate chip pancakes and they were too sweet.

After waiting almost 1 hour to be served I guess the expectations for the pancakes got pretty high. I ordered some pecan pancakes and someone else ordered the banana pancakes. Both were a big disappointment. Little nuts in mine and the banana ones just had small pieces of banana on top. I guess it's an ok place...

I was introduced to Magnolia for breakfast. We were given beeper place was packed. We waited about twenty minutes to be seated which I was told by regulars is common. I can see why they wait. Huge menu! Breakfast was quickly to table once ordered and even a proper cup of earl grey tea was available (hi to our canuk... More

I'm not sure if it is normally this busy or if it was because it's the day after Christmas but it was packed. I saw that one of these was on the Food Network while looking for breakfast and thought we had to try it; turned out that it was for the corned beef. Service was a little slow though... More

This place was recommended to me by family and friends. It was so so. i got the bacon pancakes, eggs scrambled soft, whole hog sausage and another side of bacon. The bacon was thick and crispy. The pancakes were good and fluffy. The sausage...eeeeehhhh not so great. Three stars because it is over hype. Food is average.

My husband ordered eggs, bacon and 1 pancake, waitress informed him it only came with 2 small. He said the eggs were hot and the bacon did have a smoked Applewood flavor, but was chewy rather than crisp. He only had enough butter and syrup for 1 pancake - didn't eat the 2nd one. I ordered the shrimp Louis Salad... More

We had breakfast here today and just loved it. We have been to this restaurant on numerous occasions and have always been satisfied. It is one of the most popular breakfast restaurants in San Antonio, but it also serves lunch. The food is always great and the menu is extensive. Eggs, pancakes and waffles any way you want them. Prices... More

I'm not sure what they put in the pancakes but it's the perfect blend of everything magical that makes a perfect pancake. You must try them. If you are planning to go, I am sure that you have heard rumors about the 2-hour wait....yes, it's true. But there is a trick. Send a scout in advance to go to the... More
