Good food

The food was very good. We arrived at 12:30 and were seated in 15 minutes. I had the Eggs Fitzgerald and they were excellent. The pancakes were good and my wife had the Apple pancake and said it was awesome. Good food and they were courteous.

Folks still raves about the Apfel Pfannekuchen whenever you mention you are going to Magnolia. This is a reminder that it was founded by a German family who really, really, really, REALLY knew how to make breakfast. They are all dead now, I presume. The eggs are eggs and the pancakes no better (and mine were actually worse) then what... More

This is a casul fun place and people were willing to wait over an hour to be seated on a Saturday morning. The food is average pancake fare- I don't get the fuss.

We visited Magnolia Pancake Haus for my annual breakfast trip (we have been doing the trip for four years now, since we discovered the restaurant). As always, it was great, the service was super and the food fantastic. I had the Blueberry Pancakes (so many blueberries, so little time) and and omelette, my wife had an omelet with the regular... For reference, my benchmark 5-star breakfast place is Bread Winners Cafe in Dallas, TX. By comparison, this place gets 3-stars. Nice atmosphere in a good location, but the food was only slightly above average. We tried the pancakes, french toast, eggs benedict, hash browns, and coffee. The pancakes were a little better than Denny's...the four of us agreed they were... More

We came into town for our son's Air Force/ BMT Graduation. Whenever we visit a new town we go to Guy Fieri's site for Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives. Here's the link then search by state: http://www.dinersdriveinsdiveslocations.com/ I'm not a big breakfast person, but our Airmen wanted to go here after I read Guy's review. I had the Southern Bennie....Absolutely the... More

This place doesn't need much more favorable press, as it always seems to have a healthy waiting line when-ever we go, however I'll give them my vote for Fav Breakfast. Namely the corned beef hash with two over easy eggs, and their wonderful coffee. YUM! My wife always gets the apple pancake aka 'Authentic Munchener Apfel Pfannekuchen'. Together, its more... More

Best breakfast out ever for us. Food is fresh and full of flavor. Pancakes, waffles and biscuits are all so good. The breakfast meats are made in house. I had the Canadian bacon and sausage on the two trips I've made there both are delicious. You have to wait 30 to 45 minutes for a table but well worth it.... More

I did LOVE this place. That is until you couldn't wait in line like a normal person. I was having my last meal before moving just to find they moved to a "No Wait" app. I had to wait 1 1/2 hours because they didn't email, tweet or Facebook this thing. People were showing up and sitting down and the... More
