First off not all Rome ' locations are the same quality. While this location is some what small they have great lunch specials. Kids eat free on Tuesday and Wednesday. Customer Service is not over the top but I have never really had a problem either. They also have a TV if you don't care to go to a crowded... More

I recently visited this restaurant on the kids eat free night. I guess they make it very clear that any other night when you are paying for a kids meal that a drink is included, but when the kids meal is free you Have to pay for a drink. So the person at the order counter doesn't tell you this,... More

Here is the short of it: I waited over 4 hours for a pizza, was hung up on and was lied to. Here is the long of it: I made sure to confirm that the De Zavala location delivered to my location, and the young woman confirmed it, and let me know the order would take approximately 1 hour to... More

Rome's has been a local pizza restaurant as long as I have lived here. Their staff and food quality at the De Zavala location is always great. You really can't go wrong at any of their locations. Rome's pizza is amazing and their hot sandwiches are excellent. I love this location the best out of all the Rome's Pizza spots.

My husband and I both loved the peppered steak pizza when we had it at a friend's house, and when we ordered it recently, it was as good as we had remembered it. The crust here is so nice and crusty - for me that is as important as what goes on top. Great crust and great flavor! We ordered... More

I have a friend who stops at Rome's on every trip to San Antonio. Yesterday she insisted we stop in, and I allowed her to order for me. Gyro's, extra sauce, feta added. Yum. Best Gyro I have ever had! We shared a greek salad. Ordered a pizza to go and shared pizza with our hubs for supper. Excellent! Servers... More

We bought a last minute Groupon to eat here on a Friday night. When we discovered the location I was worried. But it turned out to have quite a few patrons who seemed familiar and comfortable. Our "sesame" salad was little more than mixed greens with sesame, salad dressing, and some parmesan. Maybe $2 worth... for $6. It did taste... More

We have been enjoying Rome's pizza for 14 years. I have never once had a bad meal. The food is consistently delicious. Obviously, they do a great job on pizza, but I also love their salads, calzones and they have the best value on a lasagna dinner in town! I would highly recommend them. Also, they do offer delivery :-)

We were staying near Sea World and were looking for a non-chain restaurant to eat at. We stumbled across Rome's Pizza and were glad for it. The pizza was yummy and they had a limited selection of beer to go with it, but they had Newcastle, so we weren't unhappy with the choices.

We first came to Rome's in 2003 when we brought our son to UTSA. Not knowing anything but Riverwalk about San Antonio, we lucked on to this place tucked into a strip center next to the post office on DeZavalla. It is no doubt the best pizza we have ever eaten, and that's a bunch when you have two sons.... More
