This out of town resort could much more to justify the fame it holds. The food is below any level I have seen in the area the Caesar salads was very tired.the chef suggestion of fresh wild Atlantic salmon to be served rare was not eatable. I don't have to continue to be avoided.

Beautiful restaurant but food not great. The resort is so fantastic but Fracesca's is disappointing. Wait staff was wonderful but in addition to food being mediocre it took forever to get our meal.

Best resturant at the hotel. They have a great menu one of our parties is a vegan and they also made accomodations. The streak is the best. Others at the table enjoyed the special fish of the day.

If you're looking for a special place to dine or celebrate a special event this place is hard to beat. Located in the Resort at La Cantera on the NW edge of San Antonio it combines great views, ambience, service, and food in rare combination. The menu varies, but on a recent visit I had a sashimi appetizer with strawberries... More

Everything we ordered except Venison was not that great . I have to admit that Venison was really good. Chicken dry like piece of dried out clay, salads, potatoes, corn bread ,so so, overall ,not that great and disappointing.

I chose this place to celebrate my friend's 40 th bday based on the great reviews but was so disappointed. They did not have some of the dishes the reviews raved about including Foie Gras or lobster enchiladas. I had scallops and pumpkin soup which were ok. The grilled shrimp was bland. My husband had beef tenderloin which was also... More

Had dinner here with husband, we got there just before sunset and were able to watch it thru the large windows that overlook the pool area. So pretty. The service was excellent - thank you Jeremy! and the food was wonderful and delicious. We had a groupon so were surprised that everything was just terrific and not skimped. We will... More

This place is a true gem! It is a perfect example of Texas fine dining, combining lovely ambiance with friendly Texas staff. The food is superb, with nice presentation and fresh, obviously first quality ingredients. My swordfish was wonderful, with unique flavor that made it truly memorable. We will put this lovely place on our list of San Antonio favorites.

One of the best parts about enjoying a wonderful meal is the art and skill that goes into preparing it. Our sunset dinner was beautifully prepared and presented. The scallops were superb, and my duck was tender and juicy. Service was on the friendly side and somewhat informal, chatting with the waiters (we had two). The restaurant is located in... More
