Good but getting worse

Used to be the best in town but since the owner has not been around and it seems that others are running the business now, the quality has slipped. Still good food for the price, but used to be a FIVE STAR ... if it keeps sliding, I may have to look elsewhere for my Mexican Fix. Not conducive... read more

The most rude service ever and I am not hard to please. We had a bit of mango juice entering the facilities and a manager screamed Out! Outside! to our son instead of saying that outside drinks were not allowed, politely. The young lady by the door insisted it was an alcoholic because he chugged quickly. Told her we did... More

We stopped in for a late lunch mid-week. The place was busy, but service was attentive. We started with the Fried Shishito Peppers, which were blistered, but not battered. They can be hot. The lunch entrees were fresh and flavorful. The price and quantity of the food was perfect.

The food was amazing! Their hot sauce.... OMG! They should bottle it up and see it on shelfs. I had the beef fajitas, one of my friends had the chipolte chicken, we also ordered the ceviche amazing ALL of it! We also had some of their sangra it was the perfect blend of wine and fruit. They get very busy,... More

I went for a graduation dinner and we had been expecting more out of it. The service wasn't great, but we let it slide because of the large crowd from the graduation at the Alamo Dome not too far away. We had heard about their salsa being amazing, but it was the wateriest salsa I have ever seen! We even... More

I saw the Cowboys owner Jerry Jones dining here with his staff. You know a place is great when word of mouth reaches all the way up do the man in Dallas. Everything from the chips and salsa to the cocktails are great here. Fun and accepting environment for all ages.

This awesome restaurant is a little off the river walk, but well worth the drive or walk. I had the Griselda's tacos with carnitas, and they were absolutely amazing! I also had the Tuna Margarita - strange name, but awesome. It has prickly pear juice. The presentation is beautiful as well. My husband had the beef enchiladas and said they... More

Rosario's is a good place to go with family. It has an open concept style which makes the place look and feel spacious. We looooved their chips and salsa. Food was good but not great in taste. One thing for sure is that if you are looking for authentic Mexican food, this is not the right place to go. Overall... More

There are two restaurants I always eat at when I am in San Antonio; one of them is Rosario's. Loved by locals and tourists alike, the enchilada suizas are the best I have ever had. The cafe is a short drive or long walk from the convention center area. Depending on when you visit, the noise level can become deafening,... More

The atmosphere is active and noisy but the food is very good and reasonably priced. Ask for the original echelada. It comes with Mexican slaw, avocado, potatoes and other delicious add ons. Don't forget to order a flavored margarita. I prefer strawberry.
