Best Mexican we had in San Antonio

This restaurant was recommended by a friend who had lived in the area and we weren't disappointed. It was maybe a 10 minute walk from the Riverwalk, but was well worth the trip. The interior is very open and a bit loud and didn't have the decoration I see in many Mexican restaurants. That didn't... read more

Was looking for best chile relleno in SA and I found it. Good service, fair prices. Wife says her fajitas were exceptionally great as well. Our friends, hispanic and originally from El Paso said this was their favorite Mexican restaurant. We agree.

It's not your typical Tex-Mex spot. Authentic taste with special flair. I had the Enchiladas Mexicanos, and loved it. A welcome new taste experience. The decor is colorful & lively, with an Indian vibe with a hipster flair. A little noisy, so maybe not a place for a romantic date, but definitely great for a fun one, or outing with friends.

Rosario’s is a popular, award-winning restaurant that's been featured in both national and local media, including the New York Times, Southern Living, Bon Appétit, Gourmet, Hispanic, & Texas Monthly. Completely lives up to its hype! Extensive menu selection of traditional south-of-the-border dishes with authentic house specialties, including shrimp nachos, fish tacos, ceviche, tacos callejeros, parrillas and specialty margaritas. I wanted... More

A well-established restaurant on a main corner in a popular part of town is assured lots of business. Plus, Rosario has often been highly rated. Indeed, the food was quite good, but as a reviewer, I notice the smaller things, which didn’t go very well. So rating is rather easy. They are above three stars (average) but don’t deserve five... This restaurant is an aboslute favorite for me and my family if we are anywhere near San Antonio. The food is just excellent and the marguaritas are supurb. Best to call to check on the wait time as this place is a favorite of many of the local San Antonio residents. Mesquite grilled dishes, well prepared and many unusual choices... More

Easy to find location, where the locals go for great food and service with affordable prices. Something for everyone's taste. Great selection of speciality drinks. Noise level is above normal due to the size and warehouse motif.

Every time I go to San Antonio I have to go to Rosario's. This trip was a business lunch with a member of one of the founding families of San Antonio and he said that this was one of his favorites too. The salsa is the best...I could drink it with a straw its so good. Everything is always so... More
