Wonderful place, perfect service and great food quality. And all this for a very good price. 100% recommend if you wanna try something different during labor days.

We stopped at the Bistro because the menu was outside and saw many options. The waiter gave us daily specials and we decided to dine. Houston Street can be noisy with bus traffic, trucks and trolleys so we opted to dine inside. I had the Salmon Salad. PERFECTION! Salmon was thick cut and seared perfectly on a bed of greens.... Not wanting to wait for a spot at a restaurant along the River Walk, I happened to find this place (beside the Starbucks where I got my morning coffee.) It was quiet, relaxed and very prompt service. The fresh hot bread was good, and my main course was very satisfying. An excellent choice if you want to get away from... More

Several plus points, proximity to Majestic & Empire Theatres, reservations before show is a must. Food and service (ask for Jesse's station) were excellent, not rushed, very attenttive. Definite repeat is on the agenda.

Good food at a location close to the Riverwalk without being overrun like many River front places. We enjoyed lunch with good service and then grabbed a coffee at Starbucks right next door...

Visiting from out of state and wanted a nice steak dinner for Valentines weekend. Instead of fighting the crowds on actual V-day, we went the night after. Not sure if that was the problem...or what? The sum of the evening was this. The Manager acted strangely the whole night, wandering the restaurant as if he were concerned about something..., they... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Houston Street Bistro. I had the Tuna, my wife had the Filet and both were outstanding. The chocolate cake and Apple Crisp both hit the spot after the main course was done. The service was very good as well. This is a nicer option than most of the places on the Riverwalk.

Reservations made, accepted. Arrived on time and seated quickly. Quiet atmosphere near major attraction spots downtown. Public parking readily available. Restrooms small though clean. Service relatively timely, though water glass had something floating in it. Drinks ordered. Meals ordered shortly after drinks arrived. Nice chicken Cordon Bleu and Coconut Shrimp meals. Adjacent to Majestic Theatre so a great environment and... More

The only soup on the menu, and for good reason! It's unbelievably good, and was a perfect complement to the Caesar salad. We'll be back for dinner!
