Amazing meal and loved the bright sunroom. Excellent service and delicious house dressing on my salad. Wonderful tomato soup, wish I could remember all the ingredients because it was out of this world!

Went to Cappy's for a late lunch after a Saturday morning visit to the McNay Art museum to see their French Impressionism special exhibit from the National Gallery of Art (a MUST see, by the way). The lunch menu was an eclectic lunch/brunch mix of items - I had beef tenderloin/French fries (tenderloin was on the small side but excellent),... More

Terrific food-- regardless of what you order. Never had a bad meal there! Fried oysters some of the best I have ever had (only on the dinner menu). Some locals eat there several times a week.

We went with friends for Sunday brunch. Fine range of menu choices. My house salad was especially delicious, with frosted pecans and homemade buttermilk dressing. Our entrees were steaks and eggs Benedict with a variety of fresh veggies and fruits. The building is a restored mill, I believe, with quality paintings and hand hooked wall hangings. Easy gracious service throughout... More

I have been going to this restaurant for 30+ years. This is a consistent restaurant even after all these years Good Food Waitstaff attentive. It can be a little noisy with the wood floors but so be it Also Cappy's is a local favorite for the Terrell Hills and Alamo Heights crowd. I would recommend to eat there again

This was our second time to eat at Cappy's....would be there more often, but live 3 hours away. The food and service cannot be beat! Our party had scallops, steak, and the opa. We were very pleased with our meals and our server, Jake was great, very knowledgable about the menu and a great smile?

I happened upon Cappy's via TripAdvisor and Yelp and had a great lunch there. I had the fish taco, with great, fresh tortillas, perfect whitefish, and tasty sauce. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was casual and really pleasant. I very highly recommend Cappy's.
