While staying at the Hilton Palacio del Rio, the best part about being Hilton Honors Gold was getting the wonderful breakfast at the River's Edge Cafe. There was an abundance of fresh fruit, yogurt, made-to-order omelettes and much more served buffet style. Very attentive service. All this comes with a view right along the river walk.

Two days in a row I had Anthony wait on me for Breakfast. He was awesome - one of the best service experiences I have had in a while. Thank you Anthony for your input on food, things to see and places to go in San Antonio and the great all around service!

In addition to their regular menu, they have 3 very good 3-course selections at a very reasonable fixed price. The service was good (a rather long wait for horseradish, of all things) and the server was very friendly. I wanted to write this review because I watched another server attending to a woman sitting alone at another table. I am... More

We ate here for dinner and we don't understand how it was not busier. The food was great and it was probably the best service we've ever had at a restaurant. The server was very attentive and even brought a banana and crackers for our baby to eat (we did not ask for anything). We had the strip steak, prime... More

We dined here for breakfast every morning and it was excellent. If the weather permits you can sit outside by the river. An omelet station, fresh fruit, pastries and many more items to choose from.

My wife and I have been visiting the San Antonio Riverwalk on Christmas every year for the past 3 years. It's sort of our own annual tradition. The scenery is festive and romantic, and our experience there has been better with each passing year. However, this year was over-the-top thanks to The River's Edge Cafe and the Hilton Palacio Del... It was like any other hotel breakfast. If you are paying out of pocket I dont think that it was worth the money. You can eat on the river walk for less and better food.

I visited San Antonio to attend Scientific conference. Had visited different restaurants and this one was the best. Monica & Ashley's hospitality and service was very pleasant and professional. And food was really good. The price is very reasonable. I will love to come here with family and friends.

I felt like family. Bartenders Francisco and Mitch knew me, knew my tastes and preferences, and made me drinks accordingly within 1 day of arriving for my week-long conference. They were very entertaining!
