Sam's is a great venue. Not only do they have fresh burgers and sandwiches, they also have a great atmosphere. There is an area for outdoor seating if the weather is pleasant. Weekdays are busier than weekend days because of the downtown workers. Also, if you are looking for live music, this is a great place to consider. Their shows... More

First time customers and we enjoyed it. Everything was excellent! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Tables were quickly cleaned. And, the best part was the food. It was the best burger I've had in a long time. Onion rings were also excellent. Will be going back a lot.

Excellent burger on buns that do not contain High Fructose Corn Syrup. A very well prepared burger of quality beef. Fries were very fresh as was the ice tea. Batting 1000. The SAM's Brand on top was cute as well.

The ambiance was great! And the location... perfect... right by The Pearl, where all the pretty people hang out. We were instantly won over by the sweet, helpful cashier (y'all, she called me "darlin'"!) but the burger was as dry as West Texas! It was frankly overcooked and charred. I'll take their word for it that somewhere in there was... More

I liked my visit to Sams, as I am a big burger fan, but these burgers, don't quite live up to the hype for me. Also the fries seem very plain, almost McDonald's like. It is good food, but not great. My search for a great San Antonio Burger continues...

Fantastic joint for a fried chicken sandwich after a marathon! Bella and Melissa were great and it made the visit a nice relaxing lunch after an early morning marathon. I wouldn't recommend the place for healthy eaters but for atmosphere and chilling, a definite 10/10. From the license plates that line the wall to the small bar with an intimate... More

Visited this place with friends a few weeks ago. First off, the burgers here are very over priced. However, never finished eating and will explain why in a few. Ambiance was ok, but didnt care for the location and almost no parking. I rated this place a 1 because of the fact we observed a cook coming out from it... More

Sam's burgers are...an unforgettable juxtaposition of meat and cheese and bread and desire. They are the type of burger that other burgers look at with envy and that raid the dreams of young teenage burgers who have posters of Sam's burgers hanging on their walls. When you get your first view of a Sam's burger, you are overtaken with a... More

Best burger and joint to watch a San Antonio Spurs game. Burgers are TERRIFIC...choice of 1/2 lb or 1/4lb. Buns are literally "branded" with Sam's name on them. Fun, casual place to grab a burger , fries and a cold beer to watch the sports on the tv's that hang in the corners. Onion rings are huge! Didn't get to... More

We didn't plan to have burgers, but with it being the day before Mother's Day all of the other nearby restaurants had a long wait. We were glad because we all loved our food. Big burgers, great fried pickles & awesome service!
